dvr147 put two seeds into a glass of distilled water yesterday, last night poured out onto a paper towel and folded over. Placed the paper towel in a plastic bag (vented) and placed on a dinner plate which went onto a warming mat. Today by 5pm the tap root had sprouted on one of the seeds so I consider that the strongest seed and disposed of the other. I only have room for one plant. After that, I mixed up a gallon of dechlorinated water, added 1ml of cal-mag to help buffer the coco and seed. I ph'd the water to 5.8 after recalibrating the meters. My PPM was around 300 as expected...and EC of around .6. Should be safe for a strong seed. day 3 - mixed up first gallon of nutrient solution. Will feed by hand early evening. should see some decent growth during the next 10 days. color of leaves looks perfect. Nice dark green.

dvr147 Its been a long time since I updated this. I ended up going 11 weeks in veg because the plant was growing a little weird and it took me a while to discover that my nutrient mix was off a bit. It has since recovered and has turned out to be a nice plant...at least to my eye. Everything looks pretty good so I decided that this was the week that I'd put it into flower. I switched to 12/12 about 6 days ago and it is now starting to stretch out. I'll post some more once the colas start to grow. Feeling pretty good about this one, we'll see how it turns out. 😊

dvr147 This plant has really started to stretch out now. I had it in Veg for around 12 weeks trying to bend it out and take up the entire 3x3 tent. Now that its made it to that point, I flipped to flower on 9/6. I'm at the end of week 2 now and I think its about done stretching out...maybe another couple days. Should start to see buds forming any time now. Overall, the plant looks really healthy and I see no evidence of any nutrient deficiencies. The Autopots are turning out to be an outstanding investment. Easily the strongest and biggest plant I've ever grown.

dvr147 This is my first time growing photos so it seems to be going slower than what I'm used to. That said, I've been hand feeding for the last 3.5 weeks and just turned on the AutoPots. This should increase nutrient flow and my expectation is that this plant will take off now. I'm very close to my 4th node and I intend to top the plant and start stretching it out to make a wide base. I'd like to stretch it out to 2/3 of the width and depth of the tent before I switch them to flower. I think this may take a month or two so I'm going to be patient with this part. I dont want to let them go into flower until I have the plant where I want it. Hopefully this goes well but I'll be reporting out here from time to time on how its going. I'm only going to be using General Hydroponics nutrients on this grow and will be restricting the grow to CalMag, Fora Micro, Flora Grow and Flora Bloom. Since this whole setup is basically new (new light, new autopot, new AI controller) I want to keep things to a minimum and see what the yields are. I have high hopes for the autopots and hope that this method will be better than when I tried in soil.

dvr147 Been a while since I updated this. This is now in week 6 of flower. The plant continues to do well and is starting to give off a heavier smell. The autopot setup along with the new lighting really seem to have made a difference. I'm excited with how the plant has taken up the majority of the tent now and I am expecting to get a decent yield out of this one. The next 2-4 weeks will tell me everything. I've switched the solution to all bloom and have removed grow from the equation. I'm trying to pump up these buds the best I can for the next several weeks before harvest. I think I'll be in the 9-10 week zone of flower when I chop. We'll continue to monitor and I'll post some more pics when it makes sense. Probably at harvest.

Looking good mate 🌱🙂
Leonardo_DaGrower
I was having an issue with slow veg growth as well. I thought it was heat stress. IDK. Your buds are looking UBER frosty. Great job. Mine are lacking there but hopefully a stronger finish.
