Hempcules WEEK 1
A Permanent Bluez from izi seeds will soon be growing here. I haven’t grown anything from izi seeds before, so I’m really curious to see what this strain has to offer.
I germinate the seed using my usual method: first I let it soak in water for 24 hours, then I place it between moist paper towels until it pops. After that, it goes into a small pot with lightmix for the beginning.

Hempcules WEEK 2
My plant is doing quite well so far. I’ve only been watering it with a spray bottle up to this point, and soon I’ll move it into larger pots and top it for the first time. I’m already excited to see what it will turn into.

Hempcules WEEK 3
Everything is going perfectly so far. The plant is developing well and healthy, and there haven’t been any problems up to this point.
They’ve now properly settled into the vegetative phase and are starting to pick up speed.
On the last day of the week, I topped her in a way that leaves four main shoots. I also removed the two lowest shoots.
I’ll be repotting her soon and continue training the remaining four shoots. I’m already excited.

Hempcules WEEK 4
Everything is going according to my plan so far. This week I transplanted the plant into 9L pots filled with Lightmix, and toward the end of the week it was pruned a second time, so there are currently eight shoots continuing to grow. To reduce the stress a bit, I applied BoomBoomSpray from Biotabs. I think it’s a great product for that.
I’ll continue training the plant and will repot it again as well — there’s just no space for it at the moment. Other than that, the plant looks very healthy. This is a lot of fun, and I hope it continues like this.

Hempcules WEEK 5
The week went smoothly and without any issues. The plant has now been topped to 16 shoots and will be moved into a 25L pot as soon as there’s enough space. It responded very well to pruning every single time, and overall there’s nothing to complain about.

Hempcules WEEK 6
This week I transplanted the plant into a 25 L pot with Allmix as planned. Now I’ll let the 16 shoots grow a bit more before I start with the SCROG. Temperatures are very high at the moment, and before repotting the nutrients had already become a bit low. I fed with Grow fertilizer once more beforehand, though I could have started a little earlier.Other than that, I’m very satisfied. The plant has developed nicely and symmetrically, providing a great foundation for the flowering phase.

Hempcules WEEK 7
It was a good week for my plant. It settled in nicely in the new large pot and has gained quite a bit of volume. For me, this is now a solid foundation to start the flowering phase. Other than that, I didn’t do much this week — just one round of feeding with the additional nutrients, and shortly after repotting I used the Boomboom Spray again. Now I’ll set the lights to 12 hours and send the plant into the flowering phase. I’m already excited.

Hempcules WEEK 8
I set my lights to 12 hours at the beginning of the week, and after five days the first pistils were already visible. The stretch is well underway too, and the plant has gained quite a bit of height.
Toward the end of the week I did some defoliation in the lowest area and removed weak shoots. After that, I used Boomboom Spray from Biotabs again to reduce the stress a bit.
All in all, I’m very satisfied so far. The plant looks healthy and is growing quickly — just the way you’d hope.

Hempcules WEEK 9
It only went somewhat well with my plant. For several days now, I’ve been dealing with a magnesium deficiency. I’m adding some CalMag to the regular watering now, and it seems like things are starting to improve.
Other than that, the plant is doing okay. It doesn’t have a particularly strong stem, but it does have a nicely bushy shape. It stretched very little — so little, in fact, that I had to prop it up a bit so it would be roughly at the same height as its neighbors.
So far, I’m only mildly impressed. This strain probably won’t be a big yielder and seems to be quite demanding when it comes to nutrients. That would be forgiven if the terpene profile turns out great. I’m hoping for the best, but up to now, this isn’t an overwhelming strain

Hempcules WEEK 10
I’m still having my issues with nutrients on this plant. I’m currently feeding two other plants with the exact same schedule, and they’re showing no problems at all. Other than that, she seems to be developing further at a reasonable pace. She’s turned into a very bushy plant with plenty of flowers. I hope I’ll slowly get the nutrient problems under control, but aside from that, I’m quite satisfied with her. It could definitely be worse. 😅

Hempcules WEEK 11
I’m still having problems with this plant. At this point, I suspect she doesn’t really like the high temperatures in my grow tent, which is why the issue with the yellow, twisted leaves persists.
It’s slowly getting cooler, but so far I’m only seeing slight improvements.
Flower production itself is going quite well. Plenty of potentially good buds have already formed, and a bit of resin has started to develop too. I hope the buds will now develop nicely over the next few week.

Hempcules WEEK 12
It’s not getting any better with this plant. I still have those yellow discolorations and deformations on the leaves. It’s always just individual leaves, not all of them, but I still haven’t managed to get the problem under control.
Other than that, though, the plant is actually developing very well. She has a very nice structure, and the buds are thick and plentiful. She’s also starting to produce resin quite nicely.I’m hoping to achieve a great result in the end. I think the terpene profile could turn out quite interesting.

I can’t get the leaf issues under control. I suspect the plant reacts sensitively to high temperatures. Unfortunately, I can only get just below 30°C when all my equipment is running. The buds actually look okay. They’re already a bit resinous, and slowly the fullness is starting to come in as well. By far not my best work, but I’m confident I can still get something good out of this.

Hempcules WEEK 14
It wasn’t really a great week again. For a moment I suspected that something was off with the pH value and that it might be too low, but that probably wasn’t the issue either. I recalibrated the meter and everything seems fine.
The buds are still growing reasonably well so far. There are quite a few of them, but they could definitely use a bit more volume. But there’s still time.
Things remain exciting here with my black sheep in the tent. 😉
