Kushycat There were still so many Bubblegums in the fridge and some soil left over from the Shady Indoor Run, so I soaked them in water and off we go!🐱‍🌞🍀🌊🏼‍♂️

Kushycat Last year, I planted her directly in the garden, but I started too late in the season. As a result, she stayed quite small and never fully matured. What she did produce, however, had a wonderfully sweet bubblegum flavor 🍬🌱. For that reason—and because I simply like plants 😄🌿—I decided to keep her around and move her to the balcony. She got her start in a grow tent, where she's still living at the moment. I even built her a little tower 🏰🌿. She’ll be the new queen of Chewing Gum Castle 👑🍬. My plan is to train her into a small, bushy plant that can quietly hide away on the balcony or roof 🌞🍃. She’ll be sharing the kingdom with the Wedding Cake Queen from next door 🎂👑. Hopefully she won’t get jealous that her castle is a little smaller than her neighbor’s xD 😅 To give her a good start, I added four tabs to the pot 🌱💪. According to the manufacturer, they contain all the essential nutrients as well as mycorrhizae and other beneficial ingredients. We'll see whether that’s enough for the whole season 🤞🌿. If not, I still have some BioBizz and a few other goodies ready to help her out later on 🍽️🌱.

Kushycat Hi everyone! 👋🌱 Sorry for the late update, but unfortunately I've had a lot on my plate lately. On top of that, I may have a fracture in my already injured foot. 😅 Hopefully I'll know more soon. Well... I finally found some time and, more importantly, the motivation to write an update again. To be honest, the whole situation has been pretty tough on me lately, and I've been struggling a bit mentally. But hey... life goes on somehow. 💚 Oh, and it looks like the woman is gone too, so I guess I'm single again. 😂🙈 Now to the important part! 🌿 It has been extremely hot in the tent, and I still haven't bought an air conditioner. The girls handled the heat surprisingly well, but they've barely grown over the past few days. It was a constant balancing act between keeping the nighttime temperatures as low as possible and maintaining decent relative humidity. 🌡️ Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you're all having an amazing grow! 💚🌿

Kushycat A little bit here, a little bit there, and around we go. 😹 She's becoming a nice little bush, getting trimmed every now and then, plus the occasional BDSM session to keep her in shape. 🌱😂

Kushycat Hello, fellow plant lovers! 🌱😄 The journey continues—no reins, no rails... just rolling with it. xD There isn't much to report at the moment. I've moved her out onto the balcony, and she's happily soaking up the sunshine. ☀️ Just a little pruning here and there, plus the usual watering, and she's doing just fine. 💚

Kushycat Hi, unfortunately, I had some uninvited guests. I couldn’t just let the grasshoppers and beetles run rampant, so I used Spruzit. Two days later, everything is fine—no new feeding damage, and the plant is recovering. She’s small and cute, just the way I wanted her. I’m still working on the structure a bit. She isn’t showing any real signs of flowering yet. Last year, when grown outdoors, the Bubblegum also took the longest to really start flowering. I’m taking it easy since I have the tent as a backup, and she should still fit in there just fine after the stretch. Let’s just keep hoping for a long summer! 🌞🌱

Kushycat The visitor hasn’t shown up again, but it certainly left its mark—a fair amount of foliage was removed, and here and there, some leaves were bent, tied, and creased. She should be starting to flower soon. Last year, I thought it was because she was planted so late, but it really does seem to take her a long time to start flowering. So keep your fingers crossed! 🤞🌱

Kushycat After some more damage from an unknown pest, I sprayed her again with a rapeseed oil-based solution. Things seem to have calmed down now, and she’s doing well. She’s handling everything like a champ and is proving to be a solid classic strain. Some people think RQS is bad, but I’d say that, in the end, it comes down to the strain—and sometimes to you as well. 😹 Speaking from personal experience, just check out the RQS grows from my first indoor run. Those little guys almost starved to death! Anyway, now I’m waiting for the first flowers to appear, and I’m looking forward to stepping out onto the balcony and seeing some “chewing gum.” 😁 Take care, and peace be with you! ✌️

You’re growing a photoperiod plant so flowering will depend on the light cycle, not just the age of the plant. What you said would be true for an auto.

@Northern_Ent, it depends on the strain. My Early Version photoperiodic World of Seeds plants are already flowering for over two weeks already and a Fast version of Dutch Passion is only showing a few pre-flowering hairs. 🤷‍♀️

@India_Calcoen, agreed. I’ve heard Friesland described as it starts flowering with just an hour change after the solstice. My favourite tasting fast flowering strain was definitely Frostberry from Lucky13. Great strain.

@Kushycat, jup, guter Plan. Wenn das Wetter dann doch kippt und den Herbst einläutet, besser is trockene Zelt. 👍 Aber noch ist ja noch Sommer ^^

This week was too cold for bugs and grasshoppers. I've also noticed a few bite marks on the Seven Freeze, but that's negligible considering the amount of leaves present. 😅 Every now and then, give it a good shake, and the caterpillars fall out; that helps a bit.
