🌱 Germination – 06/24/2026 🌱
Once again, a new grow is starting, and this time with a single plant from the sponsored seeds by Green House Seeds. I've chosen the Biscotti x Gelato, and I'm really curious to see what this genetics will deliver in the end. Both parent strains are known for their strong aromas, decent resin production, and interesting terpene profiles. I'm even more excited to document the development from the very beginning and see what traits will show up in this phenotype.
The germination was successful, and now the journey from a small seedling to hopefully a bountiful harvest begins. In the first few days, healthy root growth is the priority as always. That's why the little one will be left alone for now, so it can establish itself without stress. The conditions in the tent are prepared, and now it's all about observing how it develops in the coming days.
I consciously don't have a fixed plan for the entire grow this time. I want to let the plant grow first and then decide which steps make sense based on its development. What is already certain, though: it will be topped again and then trained into a SCROG net. This should allow for the available space to be used as efficiently as possible while also creating an even light distribution across all branches.
Right now, I'm just looking forward to accompanying another grow and documenting the progress week by week. Let's see what the Biscotti x Gelato can really do in the end and whether it will meet or maybe even exceed expectations.
Thanks for reading and following along. 🙏🌱

🌱 Week 1 – 01.07.2026 🌱
The little Biscotti x Gelato is developing really well so far and is growing a bit more every day. At first, it was under a cut bottle, where I removed the bottom and made a few holes at the top for ventilation. That worked great in the first few days and created a nice microclimate.
However, the little one has now grown so much that the bottle is just not enough anymore. So, from now on, it will grow normally alongside the three big Frosted Guava plants. I'm not too worried about it starting to stretch or having other problems – so far, it looks strong and healthy.
It's being fed just like the big plants, using the same schedule and products. This way, it should have an optimal start for further growth. I'm curious to see how the genetics develop in the coming weeks and what it will yield in the end.
At this point, a big thank you again to Green House Seeds for sponsoring the seeds. I'm super excited to share this grow with you all.
Thanks to everyone who regularly stops by, reads along, and comments. 💚

🌱 Week 2 – 08.07.2026 🌱
The little Biscotti x Gelato is continuing to develop really well and is growing completely problem-free despite its location between the three larger plants. Even though it has a bit more distance from the lamp due to the larger plants, it shows no signs of slowed growth. It is still building up strong and developing just as I had hoped.
So far, it has only received water and seems to be doing great with that. Starting from the beginning of the third week, I will slowly begin with the first nutrient application to ensure it is optimally supplied for the upcoming growth phase. I'm curious to see how it will react to the nutrients.
The humidity is fluctuating a bit at the moment, but so far it doesn't seem to bother the little one at all. It looks healthy, shows a nice leaf structure, and continues to grow day by day.
As soon as there are enough side shoots, I will top it again. After that, the plan is to continue it as usual under a SCROG net to achieve as even a canopy as possible and many well-lit flower sites. Until then, it's all about being patient and watching it grow.
Thank you for reading and for joining me on my grow. A big thank you also goes to the sponsor of the seeds, Green House Seeds, for supporting this grow.

🌱 Week 3 – 07/15/2026 🌱
The third week is starting, and the single run with the Biscotti x Gelato from Green House Seeds is developing really well so far. By the end of the second week, the leaves have grown significantly larger, and the nodes are forming beautifully. The growth is strong and even, giving the plant a healthy and vibrant appearance.
Since I had great experiences with early topping on the Frosted Guava, I decided to go for it with this grow as well. I'm curious to see how the plant develops in the coming weeks, but so far, everything looks like it has handled the intervention without any issues.
The temperatures are currently between 30 and 32 °C, which, of course, heavily depends on the outside temperatures during summer. To be honest, I started this run with some concern since four plants are sharing the tent at the same time. I actually expected to face a lot more problems due to the heat. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well all the plants are coping. Based on my previous experiences, the strains from Green House Seeds seem to be really robust and handle the conditions remarkably well.
This week also marks the beginning of the first feeding. I’ll be using Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi Grow A&B at 1 ml per liter, along with 1 ml of Cal-Mag per liter from Advanced Nutrients. This should provide the plants with everything they need for the upcoming growth phase.
Next up, I’ll be doing some Low Stress Training (LST) in the coming weeks before the Biscotti x Gelato is incorporated into the SCROG net. I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops further and what potential it holds.
Thank you to everyone who is following along with the grow and checking in regularly. Your support means a lot to me. A big thank you also goes out to Green House Seeds for the sponsored seeds.

🌱 Week 4 – 07/22/2026 🌱
The Biscotti x Gelato is continuing to develop really well. Since space was getting tight with the three big plants, I decided to integrate it more intensively into the SCROG this time. The weaving of the branches went smoothly thanks to the young growth, and now it’s just a matter of waiting for it to grow upwards again.
Additionally, there was a little lollipopping, and some large fan leaves had to go to let more light reach the lower branches. Since this run is also a little test for me, I want to try out different techniques and see how the plant reacts. For now, I’ll leave it alone and let it continue to develop.
Currently, I’m feeding with 1 ml/L Cal Mag Advanced Nutrients as well as 1 ml/L Grow A + 1 ml/L Grow B (pH Perfect). So far, it looks very healthy, and I’m excited to see how it develops in the coming weeks.
Thank you for reading, and of course, a big thank you to Green House Seeds for sponsoring the seeds. 💚

🌱 Week 5 – 29.07.2026 🌱
The little side project is continuing to develop really well and is making visible progress week by week. By now, the lady is showing more and more signs of flowering, which is why I’m switching from Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Grow A&B to pH Perfect Bloom A&B. The Cal-Mag will, of course, remain a fixed part of the feeding plan to ensure she is optimally supplied during the flowering stage.
The SCROG net has really paid off so far. The entire branching is now neatly integrated, and the shoots are nicely distributed, so that as many flowers as possible will receive even light later on. I’m curious to see how the buds develop in the coming weeks. Since this plant is getting a bit less light than my main plants, the yield might be slightly lower. However, I’ve had consistently good experiences with the Mars Hydro 300W in the past, so I’m optimistic that compact and resinous flowers will still emerge.
Currently, I estimate that it will need about 8–10 weeks of flowering time in total. Until then, it’s all about observing, caring, and giving her the time to reach her full potential.
Thank you to everyone who follows, likes, and comments on my grow diary – your support motivates me every time. A big thank you also goes to Green House Seeds for the high-quality seeds.

🌱 Woche 6 – 05.08.2026 🌱

🌱 Week 7 – 12.08.2026 🌱
The Biscotti x Gelato is growing and growing! 🌱 Even though I now suspect that I may have stressed her a bit too much by tying her into the SCROG net quite strongly, which could be partly responsible for her currently slow development. Still, she looks really good overall and remains nice and juicy with a strong green color. 💚
I'm continuing with my previous feeding schedule: Advanced Nutrients Sensi Cal Mag Xtra at 1.2 ml/L and pH Perfect Bloom from Advanced Nutrients at 2 ml/L each. I add A first and then B to the water.
Of course, I hope that I'm wrong about my suspicion and that she'll gain a lot of mass in the coming weeks. But even if she stays a bit smaller, I'm very satisfied with this run so far. The Biscotti x Gelato is definitely a really interesting strain and has been a lot of fun so far. 🍪🍨
Another factor right now is unfortunately the temperatures. We're currently hitting up to 33 °C, which obviously puts additional stress on the plants and can also affect their development. 🌡️
At this point, a big thank you to Green House Seeds for the sponsored seeds and the opportunity to carry out this run in this form at all. 🙏🌱
Thanks for reading and of course for your comments! 💚
