Mango Frost & Mango Cherry Runtz

KovasGrows Got some nutrients in the media because the MCR was light green. Going to give them their first real nutrients in the middle of the week with their first Water. Due to the high temperatures (over 36C) outside I can‘t get it colder than 26. They got their first Week Nutrients mid of the week. Following the Athena Blended Line Programm.

KovasGrows Start of the Week they are looking way better after I managed to get the pH in check and the temperatures around 25C. Also the around 5 Days difference in germinating is clearly visible, but the Mango Frost is catching up to the Cherry Runtz. Lets see what the next week brings in growth. End of the week they got their nutrients and new water. Mango Cherry Runtz got topped already and Mango Frost is gonna get her new haircut tomorrow. Increased the CalMag because they showed first signs of a deficiency. Happy Growing everyone!

KovasGrows Hello my dear Growmies, the third week comes to an end so let me tell you how they did this week. Start of the week the Mango Frost got topped. After that they started to recover from their new Hair Cut and CalMag deficiency. The Mango Cherry Runtz has clearly visible Stigmas while the Mango Frost is still a little bit shy. But I can see them developing. Mid Week: They got just clear pH adjusted water since they had enough Nutrients left in the FlexFeed System from last week. At the end of the week I wanted to train the Mango Cherry Runtz and f‘d up. Sadly a whole branch broke off while handling the plant and I couldn‘t save it… But new Problems also create new opportunities. So I decided since she is already pretty tall and my space is limited, I‘m gonna bend her and try to create a little bit better and even canopy. Fingers crossed that her response to it will be good. But only time will tell how she is gonna develop.

KovasGrows Hey Growmies! Week 4 is nearly over, time for a weekly update. At the beginning of the week I put a scrog net inside the box and trained both plants so they have an more even canopy and dont get to big, since I have only my limited space for them. Maybe someday I will upgrade it. Today I tucked some of the Branches of the Mango Frost under the net so it opens the canopy a bit up. The MCR took they training well and has now around 12 Main Colas. As clearly visible the MCR will start her first real week of flowering, while the Mango Frost still hasn‘t shown any signs of pre-flowering. I might start to defoliate since they got a good amount of biomass.

KovasGrows Hello Growmies! Today we have second half of the week. The plants look happy and healthy. The whole week I trained the Mango Frost to get a nice even distribution of colas. It also started it’s early preflower now. The Mango Cherry Runtz stretched a lot and I had to bend one stem a little bit so it doesn’t get to close to the lamp. Both plants took all of my training very well. The Mango Frost gets arround 400-500 PPFD and the Mango Cherry Runtz gets 700-850PPFD. I changed the Nutrients now completly to Bloom but got a little bit of flocculation of CalMag but I think the plants have enough at the moment. I can‘t wait to see the early flower stretch of the Mango Frost and the Mango Cherry Runtz stacking more and more. Have a great week and happy growing Growmies! ;)

KovasGrows Heyho Growmies! This week I only did some minor defoliation. The Mango Frost has an nice even canopy and I can’t wait for it to develop they Buds. Both plants drank more than I expected, and they both liked the heavy feeding schedule. First Trichomes are appearing on the Mango Cherry Runtz and the Budsides keep stacking and stacking. Also I think I got lucky and have gotten an purple phenotype. Let me know if you want to know something ;) Happy Growing

KovasGrows Heyho Growmies! The next week is over and a lot has happend. The Mango Frost is in stretch and starting to develop her Buds. She is getting taller and taller every Day and finally is catching up with the Mango Cherry Runtz. Meanwhile the Mango Cherry Runtz is stacking her Buds amazingly and I’m worried a bit that her Buds are getting a little bit to big… Just joking im pretty excited. :) Since we have a heat wave in Europe and I don’t have air conditioning. I got some problems with heat and humidity. But the plants seem to handle it well. I defoliate every two to three days every leaf that blocks Budsides or hinders airflow. Fingers crossed the high humidity and temperatures don’t provoke budrot or powdery mildew. The next week looks a little bit better but we still have 30+ °C so lets hope they don‘t get to many Foxtails. Happy Growing everyone!✌️
