Started from seed in rapid rooters on seed heat mat. Earliest picture here is from 4 days after putting seeds in rooters. Starting under 200 watt blurple lights in small closet germination space. No nutrients. Some started a bit leggy but took care of it by burying them deeper when transplanted.

Happy Harvest Day!

Happy with the outcome. Got more than I was expecting in the end. I’m happy with the seeds and grow overall. Good yield, dense buds, and nice trichome production. Lessons learned for growing next time: water less frequently, fewer nutrients, more LST, start nutrients later.

Had to harvest a bit sooner than I hoped. Wanted to keep them flowering for another week, but they were still harvested at a good time. Flowered for 9 1/2 weeks. Trichomes were cloudy with a few amber, which is how I generally like it. Plants were turning yellow before/during flush quicker than I’d hope, so had to harvest before buds were affected. Despite this, happy with everything overall. Took quite a while to trim. Have a lot of good quality trim and popcorn buds too.

Wrapping up week 4. Moved 4 plants to the 4x4’ grow tent. Transplanted into 5 gallon fabric pots last week. Same ocean forest soil with root magic mycorrhizae. Stands coming tomorrow to get them off the ground to air better. Watering with pump sprayer, water ph at 7. No nutrients yet. Tips seem a bit nute burnt already. Under HLG Samsung lights. Dimmed down first day in the tent and slowly cranked up to 500 watts. Sprayed with neem oil last night. Would like the tent to be a bit cooler.

Wrapping up week 5 with no major catastrophes. All 4 plants were topped at 6th node 3 days ago. LST applied by bending plants over to promote more bush like growth 2 days ago. All four seem to be recovering nicely. Started using weak nutrient mixes earlier in the week. About half strength application for now. I have to be careful with PH with these nutrients, as they bring my water PH down below 6 pretty quick. Balancing this with PH up. Using Grow Big and Big Bloom every other watering. Plants are being watered every other day at this point. Other nutrients listed are used irregularly, with plants getting one dose of each this week. Stands came in to get plants off ground for better aeration. Lifted 5” off ground. Still on the warmer side of where I’d like the tent to be inside the tent. Added more intake for ventilation which seemed to help some. Also raised light height. Thanks for reading! Suggestions always welcome!

Continuing low stress training through week 6. I’m thinking about just letting them go once they put on a bit more growth and even out. Maybe one more week until then. Slow growth - I’m thinking this is due to too much nitrogen. I stopped applying grow big to see if things improve. I haven’t used a lot on these plants and have read blue dream can take quite a bit of N. Orange plant was starting to show low soil PH too, so it got a flush with PH7 water this week. Some yellow areas popping up on leaves. Started using cal mag, and am thinking about increasing frequency of application to remedy this. Plants also got a neem oil treatment this week. Next week will probably switch to another type of insect control so no resistance is built. Applied DE to the top of soil. No pest problems yet and would like to keep it that way. Thanks for reading! Suggestions always welcome.

The plants are still growing a bit slower than I’d like but look healthy enough overall to me. Added better ventilation today to hopefully improve air quality and lower temperatures. Hoping this helps growth rates through the next week. Some of the leaf tips are looking nutrient burnt still. I flushed all pants with sledgehammer and distilled water a few days ago. Waited for them to dry out and gave them a dose of nutrients again. Tried to go easy on them but maybe it’s still too much. Plants are looking a bit healthier after flush though. Seemed to have a growth spurt. Gave the plants a light defoliation from underneath and have been continuously removing small suckers here and there that are too far below the canopy. Seeing some yellow spots and yellowing edges on one plant. I’ve been checking soil PH every couple days, and things have been sitting between 6.3 - 6.8 through the week. Lost track of watering volumes, but I’ve been trying to go lighter since the flush. Any tips or ideas on what could be causing and remedy these yellowing leaves are very much appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read all this.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing the yellowing leaves seen in my photos from this week? Seeing leaf edges start to yellow and some yellowing between veins on older leaves.

hey there Henvana, the burn marks on the sides of the leafs are from magnesium lockout and the burns on the tips are nutrient burns. This is not good my friend, you want to cut out all the nutrients and water with only plain water for at least 10 days maybe even 14 days. As long as your reduce the nutrients and feed with plain water with the plant should recover. Reading you i see "Plants are looking a bit healthier after flush though." keep that plain water coming , because the plants will like it lol. Hope this helps ! 🚀

After taking the advice of watering with only plain water, plants are looking better. Flushed twice with distilled water to start off the week. Then gave just water for next 5 or so days, as plants needed. Started giving some light nutrients at the end of the week. Back to just water for now. No more new nutrient burn to be seen and plants grew a couple inches. Because week 7 didn’t see much growth, I’m thinking I’ll veg these for another couple weeks then switch to 12/12. Hopefully the plants continue their rebound. Gotta watch my nutrient levels close! I’d like them to fill most of the 4x4 tent after they stretch. Plants also got a very light defoliation and neem oil treatment a couple days ago. Thanks to all who took the time to read this!

Still trying to go very light with nutrients. Might try to slowly ramp them up to half recommenced strength this week to see how the plants respond. As soon as they seem to be doing well for a bit I plan on switching to flower. They’ve been very thirsty this week and I’ve had to up the waterering. Not too much else new to report on this week. Just trying to dial things in so I can switch to 12/12.

Wrapping up the last week of veg. I’m planning to switch the light schedule to 12/12 tomorrow. Raised the lights yesterday to their final and highest position. I’ve been trying to take it very easy with nutrients and monitor soil/water ph closely. It seems like the plants are on the rebound and healthy enough to move into flower. I’ve also been giving the plants a light thinning by removing some of the undergrowth. Thanks for reading!

Finishing up the first week of flowering. Gave them a good flush and started with some flowering nutrients mid week. Also been giving Epsom salts for calmag. Gave what I expect to be the last treatment of neem oil last night. Hopefully the pests stay away through flower. So far so good. Some leaf tips are curling down like they have too much nitrogen, but I haven’t been giving them any for quite some time. I think I may have overwatered this past week with the flushing so I’m giving them extra time to dry out and bring down tent humidity. Some plants are turning a lighter shade of green. Hoping the flush takes care of this since one of the plants was dropping in PH. Got a soil testing kit I’ll be trying to see if I can figure out what’s going on here. I’ve also been slowly cranking the lights up. They were at 500watts through veg, and I’ve been turning it up every couple days. Probably at around 700 watts now, and may go up to 1000 depending on temp control. Been LST to give the canopy more spread. Thanks for reading. Suggestions and tips always more than welcome!

They’re putting on some good growth now. Definitely stretching and filling out the tent. Still trying to train them out horizontally to make full use of the tent space. I’ve been defoliating from the bottom and plan on giving them one last good trim tomorrow. Because of the weather, it’s been much more humid in the tent than I’d like. Hopefully I can get the humidity down a bit. Some of the plants are a bit paler than I’d like to see. I gave them more nutrients this week to help, since I’ve been going light on them lately. The light is nearly cranked all the way to 1000 watts now. Starting to see more and more small buds start to form. Hoping that things keep going well through flower. Thanks for taking the time to read. Suggestions and tips always appreciated.

Wrapping up the third week of flower. Gave them a defoliation last night and hoping this results in more bud development. One of the plants has much higher trichrome production than the rest. Not too much else to say. It’s still been more humid than I would like in the tent. It’s exciting to watch and wait for these plants finish up.

Wrapping up week 4 of flower. In the past couple days some of the lower fan leaves have begun to turn yellow. Also have burnt tips again. Looks like nutrient lockout to me. Next time around and from here on out I will be using fox farm nutrients at 1/4 to 1/3 recommended dose. Gave the plants a good flush with sledgehammer to break it up and then a light feeding of beastie bloomz afterward. I’m hoping they turn around during these critical weeks. It doesn’t appear they’re in too bad of shape as of now, but I don’t want them to continue to drop leaves this quickly. I haven’t used any pest control in some time now, but it looks like they’re holding out from pests so far. Aside from some yellowing, everything is looking good I think. One of the plants is continuing to really put on trichomes. Wish I was able to take clones, but don’t have the setup right now to do so. As long as they don’t go downhill too quickly I think they’ll be ok. Thanks for reading, and as always, suggestions are very welcomed.

Finishing week 5 of flower. Should be wrapping this one up in another few weeks or so but we’ll see. Buds have been developing nicely. Some of the pistils have now strarted turning orange. Buds look good, but some of the plants were starting to yellow more than I’d like to see at this point. I gave them some boomerang and the yellowing seems to have slowed. I might give them a flush and some nutrients next watering to see if it helps anything, but it might be too late in the game at this point. Hopefully they finish through ok. Thanks for reading!

Ending week 6 of flower now. Some of the plants are yellowing. Not sure if it’s too much or not enough nutrients. PH has been measured for a while now and is on. Either way, I’m thinking it’s too late to try to correct. Buds are developing nicely and there should only be a few more weeks to go now. Basically just trying to make sure no catastrophes happen in the next few weeks. Suggestions always more than welcome! Thanks for taking a look.

End of week 7. Couple weeks left to go. This week the plants took a dive and started turning yellow at an alarming rate. I treated with cal mag and some grow big, and it seems like the yellowing has slowed since. The yellowing felt like it happened basically overnight. Will cut back all fertilizers soon as we’re getting close to harvest now. The two plants in the front of the tent seem about a week ahead of the ones in the back. Buds are much more developed in front. Seems like the buds have stopped growing for now. Just waiting for them to develop for another 2-3 weeks. Suggestions always very welcome. Thanks for reading!

This finishes week 8 of flower. Yellowing has progressed since last week. More yellowing than I’d like to see at this point since I’m not trying to flush quite yet. This strain is supposed to finish in 9-10 weeks flowering. I’ll probably chop some time in week 9 or early 10. We’ll see how they hold up. Starting to get some amber trichomes. Should still get a good harvest even if chopped a bit early. Buds are fine for now, just a lot of yellowing in leaves that might make its way into buds. Will be feeding with plain water from now on. Will be using less fertilizer on the next grow. Fox Farms seems to be very strong. I think my problems came from over watering and fertilization.

@@GrowMeistro, Thanks! Trying anyway. They’re under a Horticulture Lighting Group HLG-600H quantum board, 3000k version. It’s currently cranked up to 1000watts in a 4x4. This is the version you build yourself to save a little money.

@CRiSPrGrow, I’ll be watering with just plain PH7 water through the next week or so and will add small amounts of nutes back in at a slow rate after this. Your answer makes sense to me! Very much appreciated!
