Officially flowering! Vertical growth has completely stopped at about 4 feet tall, which so far has been my tallest auto so far. Undergrowth has spread out amazingly creating about 8 different tops. Weathers been perfect, plants been happy, now we watch those buds get nice and fat!

My germination rates seem to be out of wack. My process is soak for 16hrs, transfer to paper towel in between 2 plates and kept in my kitchen cupboard till taps show. But ive gotten 1 out of 4 to pop. Any ideas?

I have a 100% germ rate- no lie. I use Jiffy Pellets. Just soak them from the bottom up, squish out any excess water, make a small hole approx half an inch deep, drop ur seed in and re-cover the hole. You can pack it down just a touch so that as the seed emerges from the pellet, it pulls off the husk. I use a humidome that was sold with the Jiffy pellet starter pack. I bought this (30 pellets and the humidome) for maybe $10 at Walmart, they seem to always have these kits every spring. So it usually takes 3-5 days for the seeds to sprout and if the pellet starts to dry out at all during that time, you just add more water (always soaking from the bottom up). Once the seed is up you can immediately transplant the entire pellet into whatever you wish and into the garden they go! Couldn’t be simpler for me, maybe it could work for you too! All the best 😊

I've germinated about 20 seeds on my life and I've never had a single one not work? 🙄I always just keep them in a dark cool place (normally a drawer in a paper bag inside a box or something) and then I moisten kitchen paper put on plate, put seed on, put another plate upside down on top. Keep in a warm place (normally takes 3 to 7 days with me) 👍🌱

Hey pal. Here is the process I use with 99% success rate. Put the seeds in a small plastic container and gently shake around for a few minutes, this weekens the seed hard shell and allows for them to pop quicker. Place the seeds directly into multiple layers of damp but not soaking wet paper towel. Place in a ziplock bag and check daily. Typically I see results of within 24-48 hours. This is with well water that isn't phed. Allow the seed to grow to about 1" before transplanting and only handle it once. If you use this strategy I can guarantee success as long as you're using good quality seeds. All the best with your grow!

@Growdaddy420, @NewEnglandGreen is correct. This works and here’s a variation that supposedly betters the process. Take a matchbox, remove the abrasive striking strip and put it in the box with the seeds. Shake

Make sure they don’t get to warm.. always nice to see a new outdoor growth. How big are the containers that you will use? Good luck buddy! Feel free to check out my diaries, I’m a bit further than you :) week 10 and week 8. 👍

I’m crying as I type this. I was so excited when I saw outdoor diesel haze! And then I saw she’s all alone, auto, in a small pot. Enjoy this year’s harvest. It’s satisfying ain’t it?! Next year, if you put a few photos started indoors in well tilled and supplemented soil, and actually in the ground not pots, you’ll have a wicked huge harvest!

hey there , hope i answered your question ! basically it's really rewarding to get a propagator, some root cubes and a rooting agent, imbibe the root cube, put perlite in the bottom of the propagator, just pop the seeds in the right way into the root cube, cover with a tiny piece of root cube so the light doesnt get in, then, place the rot cube on the tray cover the propagator so it's completely dark and wait about a day, never got anything less than perfect results that way. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hi @NewEnglandGreen! Your process involves touching the seeds a few times, and this is risky. My process is almost the same but quicker/simpler (less is more): I usually soak the seeds until they start to open in water (24~48 hours) then I transplant them immediately into a container full of a fresh and light medium. And 24-48 hours later, seedlings usually pop out of the medium, at least 90% of my seeds. Make sure you keep them in a dark and temperated place, for instance don't put the plate on your internet box (as I've seen a lot of growers doing this), it's too hot and wifi waves are suspected to hurt seedlings. Just keep them in a sealed closet between 22-24°c into water until they crack, then straight to the pot. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

It's probably a temperature issue. Put them on top of a router so to keep it warm, They will sproute in a matter of days
