HandsomeTerpz Week 2 is complete and the Bruce Banner #3 Fast CBD plants are developing really nicely. 🌿
The seedlings have established themselves well and are now showing noticeably stronger vegetative growth. The first sets of true leaves are expanding, the stems are getting stronger, and overall the plants look healthy and balanced.
So far, I’m keeping things simple and focusing on building a strong foundation. No training yet I want to give them enough time to establish a healthy root system before I start shaping the plants.
🌡️ Current Conditions
Stage: Vegetation – Week 2
Temperature: ~25°C day / ~20°C night
Humidity: ~65%
Light schedule: 18/6
Lamp distance: ~45 cm
CO₂: ~500 ppm
pH: ~6.0
Medium: Plagron Lightmix + Perlite
Nutrients: Plagron Alga Grow / organic feeding
Lighting: MIGRO Array 4x4 LED
The plants are still in their small starter pots, so watering remains very controlled. At this stage I prefer keeping the root zone properly aerated rather than giving them too much water.
What I’m particularly interested in with this run is seeing how the Bruce Banner genetics translate into a CBD-focused cultivar. Over the coming weeks I’ll be watching the individual plants closely for differences in vigor, structure, internodal spacing and overall phenotype.
So far, everything is moving in the right direction. 💚
Next step: more root development, stronger vegetative growth and preparing them for transplanting into their final setup.
🌱 Week 2 done now let’s see which personalities start to emerge.

HandsomeTerpz 🌱 Week 3 – Vegetation | Bruce Banner #3 CBD – Original Sensible Seeds
Week 3 is complete and Bruce Banner #3 CBD continues to develop nicely. 💚 She is currently around 15 cm tall, with healthy green growth and a compact structure.
She is running under an 18/6 light schedule, with daytime temperatures around 25°C, nighttime temperatures around 20°C, and approximately 65% RH. The pH is kept at 6.0.
For this stage I’m keeping things simple and focusing on steady, healthy development rather than pushing her too hard. 🌿
So far she looks happy and balanced. The next few weeks should be interesting as she starts building more structure and picking up speed.

HandsomeTerpz 🇬🇧 Week 4 – Strong & Resilient Genetics 🌱💪
The genetics from Original Sensible Seeds are developing beautifully so far. Growth has been strong, stable and consistent from the beginning, with a healthy structure and vigorous new growth. 🌿
What really stands out is how resilient this plant has been. Higher temperatures? No problem. Changes in watering? Handled without any visible stress. Even transplanting went completely smoothly, and she continued growing without missing a beat.
So far, she has proven to be an uncomplicated and robust genetic with great vitality and strong resistance to environmental stress.
Absolutely top performance so far – very impressed! 🔥🌱
@kohlrabi, I completely agree. If the seedlings stay in the bag for too long, the roots start sticking to the paper towel almost immediately.
I’ll take a photo when I take them out so you can see exactly what I mean. 😊
@HandsomeTerpz, so you only use the bags and water? Nothing else?
So far, my sprouts haven't stuck to the paper. Maybe I have a good amount of water in play 😁.
The risk of damaging the roots exists with this method too, right?
By the way, you selected the wrong strain in the diary. The Dr. Bruce B CBD is available to choose from.
My container of choice is a small Tupperware with paper towels and a good splash of water.
If they want to germinate, that happens after 1-2 days.
If not... well...
@Webacca, i,
No, I use a folded paper towel inside the Ziplock bag and place the seed between the layers so it stays evenly moist during germination.
You can use pretty much any Ziplock bag you like. I just happened to use the black ones because I had them on hand, and they're light-proof, which is a nice bonus.
And you're absolutely right—the strain listed in my diary isn't the correct one. I actually did that on purpose. I need to talk to the Sensible Seeds team because several of their genetics are missing from the GrowDiaries library. In theory, I can add a custom strain name, but that usually causes problems later when the diary needs to be linked to the correct genetic.
Hopefully, they'll add the missing strains soon, as it makes everything much easier.
