Kohoutek Vegi Woche 1 – Honey Dipper 🍯🌱 Topf: 0,5 L Vorzuchttopf Licht: 18/6, ca. 350 PPFD bei 40 cm Abstand Bewässerung: ca. 150 ml/Tag, von oben und unten Die erste Vegi-Woche steht ganz im Zeichen der Wurzelentwicklung. Die Honey Dipper bleibt komplett ungestört und darf ihr Wurzelsystem im kleinen Topf kräftig ausbauen, bevor sie später ins 120-Liter-Beet umzieht. Keine Maßnahmen, kein Training, kein Stress. Einfach wachsen lassen und möglichst viele Wurzeln für den großen Umzug vorbereiten. 🌱

Kohoutek 🍯 Honey Dipper | Veg Week 2 The second week in the 120L bed is over. On September 2nd, the little one moved into the bed. To start, there was about 15L of water with SF nematodes, and Mycorrhiza from Home4Grow was added directly into the planting hole. Two days later, the cover crop mix was added to the bed. At the beginning, there was something that looked like slight light stress to me. As a result, the SG Glow 30 was turned off and remained off for a while. Additionally, I increased the distance of all three SF2000 from the plant. Throughout the week, she slowly recovered and continues to look vital and healthy. 🌱 The second week ends mainly with some light fine-tuning. Now she can continue to establish herself and show what she's got in the 120L bed. 🍯🌿

Kohoutek Honey Dipper – Veg Week 3 🌱 Development & Training In the third week of vegetation, the focus remained on targeted structural development and establishing a stable foundation for the planned 120-liter living soil bed. Training The plant was topped from Node 5 back to Node 3. * Node 2 and Node 3 remain. * The shoots and fan leaves from Node 1 were removed. * The cover crop was lightly trimmed once. Otherwise, it is allowed to develop freely so far. The trimming measures serve to further build the desired plant structure. Watering During the third week of vegetation, the following watering routine was used: * Tap water: Applied from above with a pressure sprayer. * Osmosis water: Every three days, 3 liters were added to the saucer. By combining top watering and water supply through the saucer, the substrate's moisture was maintained. Project Context The Honey Dipper is still in a long-term planned vegetation phase. The goal remains to establish a strong root system and a stable plant structure for the large living soil bed. The cover crop remains part of the organic growing concept and is only lightly regulated in its growth. Outlook for Veg Week 4 The focus is on recovery from the trimming measures, the development of the remaining shoots, and further building a uniform plant structure. The structural development of the Honey Dipper continues. 🌿

Kohoutek Honey Dipper – Veg Week 4 🌱 Development & Training In the fourth week of vegetation, the focus remained on targeted structural development and building a stable foundation. Training in The main shoots of Node 2 were also topped to further promote branching and gradually build the desired plant structure. The Honey Dipper continues to receive the foundation for the planned extensive mainlining. Watering This week, the Blumat watering system was added to the living soil bed. Currently available for this are: * 4 × Blumat Maxi * 4 × Blumat Drip * 47-liter reservoir The coming days will mainly serve to adjust the system to the actual conditions in the bed. Outlook for Veg Week 5 In the coming week, the focus will initially be on recovery from the previous training measures, further development of the new shoots, and fine-tuning the watering and monitoring system. The structural development of the Honey Dipper continues. 🌱

Kohoutek 🍯 Honey Dipper – Veg Week 5 🌱 In the fifth week of vegetation, the planned structural development continues. The training has been continued to further distribute the newly formed shoots and gradually bring the plant to the desired mainlining structure. There was a significant change in the lighting: The three SF2000 lights were removed from the setup and replaced with two SANlight EVO 3-100 1.5 lights. This is intended to achieve a more uniform light distribution while simultaneously reducing power consumption. The soil life has also been further supported. In addition to the existing microorganisms, Dendrobena worms were added to the 120-liter living soil bed. The Honey Dipper continues to develop compactly and vigorously. The focus remains on a clean plant structure, active soil life, and as even a development of the shoots as possible. 🌱 The structural development continues.

Kohoutek 🌱 Honey Dipper | Vegi Week 6 On 29.09., unfortunately, two shoots broke off from different main stems during the mainlining. This leaves currently 14 instead of 16 shoots. ? 💧 Irrigation: 25 L of osmosis water + 5 L of tap water, 0.8 g of Epsom salt per 5 L tank volume and 0.8 ml/L of Plagron CalMag Pro. The Blumat has increasingly stabilized and maintains the substrate moisture at about 18–22 % VWC. 🎯 Plan: One week of complete rest for the plant. After that, the mainlining will continue. The goal of 128 shoots remains!

Kohoutek 🌱 Honey Dipper – Veg Week 7 Week 7 is in the books, and the Honey Dipper really stepped it up this week. 🌿 After losing two shoots last week, we topped it again this time. The remaining shoots have recovered well, and we're back to 24 strong shoots. 💪🌱 Now it's time for a little breather for the plant. In the upcoming Veg Week, nothing will be done, just letting it grow. The goal is to build a second layer in height so we can top again afterward. If everything continues to go as it has, we’ll be heading towards 48 shoots. 🌱✂️ So the Living Soil and the Honey Dipper can now do what they do best: grow. 🍄 Veg Week 7: 24 shoots, well recovered and ready for the next round. 🐝🌿

Kohoutek 🌱 Honey Dipper Project – Veg Week 🍯💚 In our Honey Dipper Project, we really got into training this week! 💪🌿 I topped multiple times again and specifically trained the shoots to bring them all to a uniform height level. The goal: a balanced plant structure and as even a development of all main shoots as possible. 🌱📐 Current status: 30 shoots! 🔥 The next round is already on the horizon: All 30 shoots should be ready for topping again next week. Kohoutek 🌱 Honey Dipper | Vegi Woche 9 Diese Woche gab es eine kleine Veränderung im Zelt: Nach der Ernte meiner Fast Buds Gelato ist die Honey Dipper in die Mitte des Zeltes gewandert und hat damit ihren neuen Platz bezogen. Heute stehen wir bei 43 eigenständigen Trieben. Langsam zeichnet sich allerdings ab, dass einzelne Triebe nicht mehr ganz uniform wachsen. Diese werde ich beim nächsten Toppen gezielt auslassen, um die Entwicklung der übrigen Triebe weiterhin möglichst gleichmäßig zu halten. Ansonsten gibt es wenig zu meckern: Die Honey Dipper ist vital, gesund und wächst, wächst und wächst! 💚 Bei der Versorgung bleibe ich weiterhin bei angepasstem Wasser aus meinem Blumat-Tank. Besonders spannend: Das 120-Liter-Living-Soil-Beet läuft inzwischen seit sieben Wochen komplett ohne zusätzliche Düngung. Bisher entwickelt sich das System genau in die Richtung, die ich mir vorgestellt habe. Die Ziele bleiben klar: ein gesundes, kräftiges Wachstum, eine möglichst gleichmäßige Triebentwicklung und eine solide Basis für die kommenden Trainingsrunden. 43 Triebe sind der aktuelle Stand, aber das Projekt ist noch lange nicht am Ziel. 🌿 Wie immer gilt: Das Beet soll zeigen, was in ihm steckt. Wir beobachten, steuern bei Bedarf nach und lassen das Living Soil seine Arbeit machen. Stay tuned, die Honey Dipper legt erst richtig los! 🔥
