TurtleInWeed ๐ค Before We Start
This grow is part of a cooperation with Zamnesia.
Iโll be growing and documenting three different Zamnesia F1 Hybrids in separate diaries: Blue Waffle F1, Lemon Cherry Gelato F1 and Pickled Lemon Haze F1.
Iโll be documenting the grow from seed to harvest and sharing my own observations along the way.
Thanks to Zamnesia for making this project possible. Now, letโs get started. ๐ฑ Use code ZAMMIGROW2024 for 20% off at Zamnesia
๐ฑ GERMINATION โ DAY 0โ2
The seeds were started in a small propagator. After around 20 hours, the first taproot appeared.
By 48 hours, all three had developed strong roots and started to grow slightly into the cotton pad. I carefully separated the cotton and freed the roots without pulling on them.
They were then planted into labelled 500 ml cups with 90% BioBizz Light-Mix and 10% perlite. RootMax was mixed into the upper layer of the substrate and added to the planting holes before the seeds were lightly moistened.

TurtleInWeed ๐๐ Lemon Cherry Gelato F1 โ Week 1
๐ Weekly Overview
Week: 1 โ Seedling Stage
Height: 3.5 cm
Light: FC4000-EVO โ 24% at 48 cm
Light Schedule: 18/6
Temperature / RH: 25ยฐC / 51% lights on โ 23ยฐC / 55% lights off
Watering: 50ml on Day 3 and again 50ml Day6
Substrate: 90% BioBizz Light-Mix / 10% Perlite
Root development: Taproot visible at the bottom from Day 4, roots visible along the sides a few days later
Notes: Briefly drooped after watering from both the top and bottom, but recovered within a day
๐ฑ Plant Status
Lemon Cherry Gelato had a smooth first week and developed without any visible problems. After breaking through the substrate, the seedling remained compact and continued to develop its first true leaves throughout the week.
At 3.5 cm, LCG was the smallest of the three by the end of the week, but there were no signs of weakness or developmental problems. The plant looked healthy, with good colour and normal leaf development.
Root development progressed well, with the taproot visible at the bottom of the cup from Day 4 and additional roots appearing at the sides later in the week. On Day6 the plant briefly drooped after watering from both the top and bottom but recovered within around one day.
By the end of the week, the surface of the substrate had dried while moisture remained deeper down. Since the cup still had some weight, watering was delayed.

TurtleInWeed ๐๐ Lemon Cherry Gelato F1 โ WEEK 2
๐ WEEKLY OVERVIEW
Week: 2
Light: Mars Hydro FC4000 EVO, 320W
Light schedule: 18/6
Light distance: 48 cm
Light power: 30%
Temperature: up to 26ยฐC
Humidity: 54โ61%
Watering: 80 ml before transplant, with slight runoff
Substrate: 16 L Light-Mix + 2 L worm castings + 2 L perlite
Pot: 20 L fabric pot
Transplant: 31.08.
End height: 7.5 cm
๐ฑ PLANT STATUS
Lemon Cherry Gelato F1 continued to build leaf mass throughout the week. After transplanting, the plant stood upright again within one day and continued growing without visible issues. The plant is currently developing a broad structure with good new growth and is slightly behind PLH in overall size.
๐ฑ Transplant & Soil Preparation โ Week 2
The 20 L pots were prepared with:
16 L BioBizz Light-Mix
2 L worm castings
2 L perlite
80 g Startrex per pot
5 g Mycotrex distributed through the upper half of the pot
2 g additional Mycotrex directly in the planting hole
4 BioTabs per pot
For the first watering after transplanting, Orgatrex and Bactrex were added according to the planned mix.
The transplant itself was somewhat difficult due to the loose substrate in the 500 ml cups, but all three plants recovered quickly and were standing upright again the following day.
Week 2 finished with a clear difference in structure: PLH is currently the most open and largest, LCG is close behind with good leaf mass, while BW remains distinctly compact. No visible problems were observed in any of the three plants.

๐ฑ PLANT STATUS
Lemon Cherry Gelato F1 showed strong growth during Week 3 and reached 14 cm. Its open structure became even more noticeable, with several well-developed lower shoots.
On September 8th, the plant was topped. It recovered well and continued developing new growth afterwards.
