BetthupferlBotaniker Hi guys! I'm new here, so I'm introducing this monster that grew on the balcony until 4 weeks and 4 days ago, and had to wait a bit longer than expected for its move into the tent due to a Jack Herer grow that took longer than planned. All of this happened before flowering. Since it was already too big, I more or less forced it into a "high-scrog." It doesn't look particularly pretty, but hopefully the bud structure will be nice and even. It's experiencing a bit of Cal/Mg/Mn stress (I suspect), but everything is within limits, so I'm not freaking out right away. It could be due to the pH level in the soil, but the plant is doing well, and that's the main thing. Unfortunately, measuring the drain would involve some effort (heavy pot, scrog in the way, etc.), so there's really not much left to do but stay relaxed.

BetthupferlBotaniker Flower week 5. I'm actually satisfied. One way to deal with leaf damage is to just remove them completely. 😂 The buds have really developed nicely in the last few days, I'm quite happy that it worked out to get the plant into the tent. This is my first "landrace grow," the smell isn't the strongest, but my fingers smell really nice.

BetthupferlBotaniker So, flowering week 6 has begun. I really like her a lot, but I can also quickly like something else ;-). I can hardly say anything negative about the Afghani; from the beginning until now (knock on wood) no pests, and I've always had some until now. I treated her, felt almost like the wicked stepmother, but she doesn't seem impressed. She was kind of just "along for the ride" at the start; out of a whim, I thought to myself in mid-April: What happens if I just put an Afghani in a pot, and with about that level of attention, she has grown big. I'm all the more surprised by her current appearance. Right now, she's drinking water like never before; I interpret that as a final sprint before ripening. The buds are already rock hard. I almost wonder why they continued breeding from here. I'm very curious about how she smokes, as I haven't even tried hash in my life so far, or been able to try it.

BetthupferlBotaniker Flower Day 54 Unfortunately, I'm away from home for 2 weeks, so my girlfriend is taking care of the plant. Unfortunately, the phone microscope doesn't fit her phone very well, so the macros aren't that great. Remote diagnosis is a bit tricky, but I think she can definitely keep going like this for a few more days. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

BetthupferlBotaniker Meanwhile, the Afghanis are celebrating their 60th Flower Day. To me, it looks like the harvest is getting closer, but in my opinion, it is still not that far off. I generally welcome opinions. The flowers are already so hard, I have never seen them like this before. The smell is rather weak, but it smells very delicious. Also nice is the red coloring on some stems that receive direct light due to the violent cropping, at least I would suspect this connection.

Hi and welcome. Looks pretty well trained... But putting an outdoor plant in my tent is out of the question. The risk of contamination with pests would be too high for me 🌱😀

@Bonzai Hello Bonzai! I had that concern too, but so far no one has shown up. The little bags with the swirskii larvae are still hanging from the previous Jack Herer grow, no idea if they did anything. Taking photos outdoors isn't fun for me, the balcony doesn't get enough sun, but at night it's a complete city light show. Anyway, the concept of doing the VEG phase for free and environmentally friendly outdoors until July has worked surprisingly well, I will definitely repeat that next year.

I have to say that until recently I only had 1 tent. If the whole thing were scaled up, pest contamination would probably be a different issue.
