Week 4 Flower
Silicon was stopped at day 28. Cal-Mag and Epsom Salts will be stopped at day 35.
I tied a net in the tent, not as a SCROG, but just for support as they put the weight on.
She was given a small maintenance flush on Day 28 and then topped up with a fresh nutrient mix without silicon.
The MasterKush hasn't changed in health and is stacking very well. Her trichomes are slowly coming but she smells very strongly of lemon dish soap 🍋 looking forward to seeing if that changes much throughout flower.
Thanks for following! 🐺
@Tistou, sounds like my new daytime smoke! Haha. Wow I must have been lucky to have tried her! She's definitely a beauty 👌 I'm really surprised by how strong she smells of lemon but hoping she holds onto it after dry and curing 🐺
@TheFoxFarmer,
Yeah, it is really crazy stuff. Indica but effects with a totally clear mind. I have found it only three times in the Netherlands. Haha, the pic this year has been great. The structure of the cup winner. Elegant. 😊
@Tistou, really? The first and only time I've tried MasterKush was all the way back to the first time I visited Amsterdam! I remember being impressed, and after seeing her recent cup wins I had to give her a go! 😉🐺
@That_Potent_Puff, sure. It prevents the seedlings from drying and shriviling up, basically acting as as tiny humidity dome. I also feel it's not necessary to feed nutrients of any kind right away as it could easily burn and kill them. My tap water has a ppm of between 150-190 so it'll have everything a little seedling needs for its first 10 days or so :) it's cotyledon leaves should have enough stored nutrients during this time too :)
Thanks @biggreens420, yeah, neither did I! Lol. She smells like lemon dish soap or a lemon peel. I expected a bit of a citrusy tone but not quite this much! Haha
@biggreens420, I've only smoked her in Dam, and that was a few years ago now. I think it was the first time I went. But i can remember it being a nice smoke so had to try grow her myself 🐺
Thanks @biggreens420, her side branching and internode spacing is crazy. One of the tops from her first set of true leaves actually reached the top of the canopy lol. It was her recent cup wins that made me go for her 🏆🐺
Some solid looking colas :)
I saw your comment about transplanting from smart pots and cloth pots.. I've come to the same thought, they are for final transplant only.
Thanks @Fun_Growin ✌️ definitely mate, I've now been using plastic pots until their final smart pot. I feel their pain when it rips their healthy roots off! Lol 🐺
