Philhsy 🍍🌱 Pineapple Slush XL Auto – Sweet Seeds | Week 0 – Let the DWC Adventure Begin! 💦🔥 Here we go again, fellow growers! 😁✌️💚 Another exciting hydro adventure is officially underway, and this time we’re growing Pineapple Slush XL Auto from Sweet Seeds! 🍍🌿 Started this little beauty using my trusty CannaKan germination system, placed on a heat mat to provide a nice, warm and stable environment during those crucial first days. 🌡️🌱 I also added one little drop of Plant Success Orca directly to the seed, introducing some beneficial microbes right from the start! 💚 Germination went smoothly, and today she officially moved into her growing cube and straight into the DWC system! 💦🙌 Now comes the exciting part — waiting for those first beautiful white roots to make their way down into the reservoir. Can’t wait to watch this little lady take off! 🚀 🏕️ MY GROW SETUP – THE HYDRO PLAYGROUND! 🏠 Grow Tent: Spider Farmer 120 × 120 × 200 cm — plenty of room for these ladies to spread their wings! 🌊 Hydro setup is a 4x Spiderfarmer DWC with top drip,total 8 outlets however im running two pots with all the air stones, along with them i have a Hygger 7w silent sir pump with two outlets powerful 550 l/h eith one stone in each extra. 💡Enviornment: Spider Farmer Genius Grow System 5-IN-1 SensorPro Kits , Monitoring PPFD, Temp, Humidity, VPD & CO₂ 🌬️ Ventilation: Mars Hydro iFresh 6-inch inline fan with carbon filter, keeping the air moving and the environment fresh. 💨 Air Circulation: Two Spider Farmer oscillating clip fans for nice, even airflow throughout the canopy. 📱 Smart Control: Spider Farmer GGS 5 controller — absolutely loving being able to monitor and control my equipment through the app! 🔥 Heating: Spider Farmer heater, connected to the smart control system to help maintain stable temperatures. 💧 Humidity: Spider Farmer humidifier, also integrated into the setup for easier environmental control. ☀️ THE STAR OF THE SHOW – MY GROW LIGHT! 🇨🇭🔥 And now for something special… 💡 Future of Grow Black Series 600W – Swiss-made excellence! This light deserves a chapter of its own! 😍🇨🇭 I’ve been getting some absolutely EPIC results with this beast, and I’m seriously impressed with its performance. Beautiful coverage, plenty of power and a fantastic addition to my grow setup! It’s definitely one of my favourite pieces of equipment, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what it can do with this Pineapple Slush XL! 💪🌿 💦 THE PLAN This will be another full DWC journey, following everything from the very first roots to the final harvest. I’ll be documenting the progress, sharing the good and the bad, experimenting, learning and hopefully growing another absolute monster! 🌳🍍 I’m still learning new things with every hydro run, and that’s what makes this hobby so addictive. Philhsy 🌱💦 Week 1 – DWC Adventures Begin! And we’re off to a great start, fellow growers! 😁✌️ This little beauty has sprouted quickly and is already showing some lovely early growth! 🌱💪 Everything seems to be developing just as it should, and she’s looking happy and healthy so far! Still waiting for that first taproot to make its appearance beneath the net pot, but patience is part of the hydro journey! 🙏💦 Hopefully, we’ll soon see those beautiful white roots reaching down into the nutrient solution. I’m really excited to be growing in DWC again! Philhsy 🍍 Pineapple Slush XL Auto – Sweet Seeds | Week 2 – DWC Adventures! 💦 Another exciting week in the hydro garden, fellow growers! 😁✌️ This little lady is really starting to find her feet, and things are looking promising! 🌿💪 She’s now reached 12 cm, more than doubling her height since last week, and the growth is becoming noticeably stronger! 💚 Big changes in the nutrient department! I’ve officially switched from Terra Aquatica TriPart to Plagron Hydro A+B! 💦 I’ve wanted to run Plagron from the very beginning, so it feels great to finally make the transition. Fingers crossed she enjoys the new menu as much as I’m hoping! 🤞😁 🌱 Roots, roots and more roots! The root system has really started establishing itself, pushing out some seriously long, beautiful, tentacle-like roots! 😍 It’s always one of my favourite moments in DWC when those first roots start reaching down into the reservoir. I did notice a little smudge/discoloration on one of the roots, though. Nothing I’m panicking about just yet, but I’ll be keeping a close eye on it. Planning a gentle root rinse today, followed by a complete reservoir change and a fresh batch of Plagron nutrients! 💧 📊 Week 2 – Grow Conditions 🌱 Stage: Vegetation – Week 2 📏 Height: 12 cm 💡 Light schedule: 18/6 ☀️ Day temperature: 26°C 🌙 Night temperature: 22°C 💧 Reservoir temperature: 23°C pH: 5.9 ⚡ EC: 0.6 mS/cm 💨 Humidity: 65% 💡 Light distance: 40 cm 🌬️ CO₂: 600 ppm 👃 Smell: None yet! Overall, I’m really pleased with her progress! The roots are expanding, she’s putting on some nice height, and everything above the reservoir is moving in the right direction. 🌿🔥 Still learning with every DWC grow, and that’s half the fun! I’m especially curious to see how she responds to the new Plagron nutrient line over the coming days. Hopefully, next week’s update will bring even more explosive root development, stronger branching and a happy, thriving little Pineapple Slush! 🍍💚 New nutrients, fresh solution and plenty of positive vibes! 🙏💦 Happy growing, fellow farmers! Philhsy Week 3 – Pineapple Slush XL Auto by Sweet Seeds | DWC Adventures! 💦🍍 What a week for this little beauty! 😍🌿 She’s really taken off, growing stronger every day, pushing out multiple new branches and developing into a gorgeous, healthy little bush! 💪🌱 I’m currently running Plagron Hydro A+B with Hydro Roots, and I have to say, this might be the easiest nutrient line I’ve ever used in DWC! 🙌 The pH has been incredibly stable for several days, barely needing any pH Up or Down. Such a pleasure compared to constantly chasing numbers! 😁 I’ve done some light defoliation and leaf tucking to open up the canopy and encourage those side branches. I’m hoping she’ll continue filling out into a big, beautiful bush before flowering kicks in! 🌳💚 Might give her another round of LST, although I’ve also been considering a SCROG setup. The other plant is quite a bit behind after having to be replanted, so there’s a noticeable height difference between the two. Because of that, LST will probably be the better option for keeping everything manageable and the canopy nice and even. 🌿 💦 Root development is looking fantastic! A beautiful, fine white root ball has emerged, with plenty of healthy new roots growing. I also noticed that after a few days of using Plant Success Orca, the roots developed a slightly slimy coating. I’m not entirely sure whether it’s just microbial buildup, but I’ve decided to stick with Plagron Hydro Roots for now and perhaps reintroduce Orca later when she’s drinking more. 📊 Week 3 – Grow Conditions 🌱 Stage: Vegetation – Week 3 📏 Height: 20 cm 💡 Light schedule: 18/6 ☀️ Day temperature: 25°C 🌙 Night temperature: 22°C 💧 Reservoir temperature: 23°C pH: 6.2 ⚡ EC: 0.8 mS/cm 💨 Humidity: 65% 💡 Light distance: 40 cm 🌬️ CO₂: 600 ppm 👃 Smell: None yet! This is still only my fourth hydro grow, and I’m learning something new every week, but so far this girl is making the journey an absolute joy! 🙏💚 Really impressed with how smoothly everything is running, especially the stable pH, vigorous branching and beautiful root development. Philhsy 🌱💚 Week 4 – Pineapple Slush XL Auto 🍍❄️ | DWC Hydro Adventure! Another fantastic week with this beauty from Sweet Seeds! 😁✌️ This week we introduced some gentle LST, tying down the branches to encourage a wider, more even canopy. Also did some selective defoliation to open things up and improve light penetration and airflow. And WOW, she’s responding beautifully! 🌿🔥 Growth has been amazing, the pH has been stable, and she’s drinking and feeding exactly as she should! Couldn’t be happier with how she’s developing so far. 🙏 This is only my 4th hydro grow, so I’m definitely still learning the ropes, but this Pineapple Slush XL Auto has been an absolute dream! Hopefully she’ll continue thriving as we approach the flowering stage, which I believe is just around the corner! 🌸🍍 💧 Week 4 – DWC Environment & Readings: * 🌱 Growth stage: Vegetation – Week 4 * 📏 Plant height: 34 cm * ☀️ Light schedule: 18/6 * 💡 Light distance: 40 cm * 🌡️ Day temperature: 25°C * 🌙 Night temperature: 21°C * 💦 Relative humidity: 65% * pH: 6.2 (stable!) * ⚡ EC: 0.8 mS/cm * 🌊 Reservoir temperature: 23°C * 🌬️ CO₂: 600 ppm * 👃 Aroma: No smell yet! 🫧 Oxygen Upgrade – More Bubbles for the Rootsies! I also decided to upgrade the aeration setup this week! Picked up some new air stones and a Hygger air pump delivering approximately 550 L/h, which is now running alongside my existing Spider Farmer air pump. The original setup was intended to supply four DWC pots, but I’m now running all those air stones in just TWO reservoirs! 😂💨 No idea yet how much difference the additional aeration will actually make, but the goal is to keep those roots surrounded by plenty of oxygen-rich water and hopefully encourage an even healthier root system! 🫧🌱 The roots are developing nicely, the plant is looking fantastic, and everything seems to be moving in the right direction! Still a beginner wirth hydro still experimenting, and learning something new every single week. That’s what makes growing in hydro so exciting! Philhsy 🍍 Pineapple Slush XL Auto – Sweet Seeds | Week 5 Week 5 is here, and she’s officially kicked into flowah! 🌸💚 Growth has been looking great overall, although I’m a little concerned about the lack of stretch so far. She’s growing quite bushy, and I was hoping she’d gain some extra height to open up the canopy a bit. Fingers crossed she’s still got a growth spurt coming! 🤞😅 💧 DWC Reservoir Update: * EC: 1.0 – dropping around 0.2 daily * Water consumption: Approximately 2 litres/day * pH: Rock solid at 6.0 ✅ * Reservoir temperature: 21–22°C * Room temperature: 24–25°C * Humidity: 55% RH * Light intensity: Increased to 650–700 PPFD ☀️ The root ball is getting seriously massive, with beautiful white, healthy roots and absolutely no signs of rot! 🐙💪 She’s sporting a lovely deep dark-green colour, and overall she looks strong and healthy. Nutrient uptake is going well, and the stable pH is definitely making this run enjoyable! I’ve also increased the light intensity to around 650–700 PPFD now that flowering has started. Still learning with every hydro run, but so far I’m really happy with how she’s performing. Just hoping she decides to stretch those legs a little before focusing completely on stacking flowers!
