@Silky_smooth, solder is a great idea. I thought maybe the metal reacts poorly in direct contact with the plant. Had planned to use insulated wire for training. I won’t train them all. I theorize that any given plant yields what it yields. It’s like jigsaw puzzle pieces on a board... move them around all you want...still the same amount of pieces. I’m happy to be proven wrong. The Silky cup will be a great proving ground for theory. Only one cup will I declare my official entrant once they flower and declare sex.

@Wicked_Stix, Thanks for the encouragement. They look pretty typical to me. I will feed them for the first time this week. Going with the controversial fresh wild bird poop on half, then see if I notice improvement.

@growdoctordc,ok just a question dear😉and what do you think about the learning proces that involves growing a cup you know that it identifies the growers abilities and resoursfullness to think 4 steps ahead before you do anything take for instance the simple intake of nutes,air to the roots,the shorter wet dry cycle training every factor possible must be spot on or it fails Everybody thinks o its just a cup but it involves much more then simply growing and feeding so i think you have done a very good job and since its only your first(?) you solo cup virgin it deserves the credit that it deserves by not giving up!!hats off sir hats off!!👏👏👏👏
