I'm creating this diary for friends and family that may want to read the trials and tribulations of growing marijuana indoors. However if you have any suggestions for me I'd be happy to hear them! :) The seeds which I harvested from a bag of Sweet Tooth were started using the paper towel method, after 4 days they were ready to be planted. I'm currently following the directions for lighting height (32'-40") supplied by Viparspectra for the 900W LED grow light I'm using for Veg and Bloom. I waited too long to pot the seeds, between day 4 and 5 I should have planted the seeds. But it doesn't seem to have affected the plants at all. The fertilizer I'm using is the pH Perfect Micro/Grow/Bloom system and as I'm still in the seedling stage I have been mixing at a rate of 1 ml of each into a shared 1 liter container. All in all the seeds took 10 days to be ready for potting up. Roots of each plant were visible piercing through the compost-friendly 2" starter pots. Those pots are now directly planted into the 12" tree pots. I'm not tracking pH or TDS yet, I know I should be but I haven't had the opportunity to pick up a good meter, however I can say that I am following a 12-12 lighting schedule, which I will be changing to 18-6 on Day 11. Future entries will contain more detailed information.

I've never grown pot from seed before, I'm at the sexing stage (40-50 days) and I'm having a little trouble with this one. I believe it's a male, but it seems to be kinda pointy, it seems to have a stem but is that just my eyes? Is this a male/female plant in your expert opinion?

It’s still to early to tell for sure by the pics really but my guess would be a male too. Get some more shots of some other nodes closer to the top of the plant. Might be easier to tell then. It’s really hard from that pic. But if I had to guess id put it in a maybe male bunch to be double checked again in a week or so. Get some more pics tho an we should be able to tell as I can usually sex mine from 3-4 weeks veg usually only needing an extra week sometimes 2 for some plants to be 100% confirmed. so yea get some pics of nearer the top of the plant near the top nodes an hopefully we can tell.

they look female to me.don't get confused, you can see some single calyxes on the main stem later in flowering which you may think are pollen sacs but no they are not. This doesn't mean it's a male.male looks completely different, check out my dead diary.still you can wait for another week to be clear and if it grows both female and male things(flowers and sacs), just dont toss it. you can remove visible pollen sacs by hand and you'll be safe

I updated the pictures, my "white" plant is definitely a female so no pics. The "purple" plant is in question as I have found odd structures that are either modified leaves growing into a new stem or perhaps male pre-flowers. I need your help to decide which you think it is.
