Germination

RockoCalenberg Peaches & Cream – Germination Update I also placed the Peaches & Cream seeds between damp cotton pads. After two days, all five had germinated, so I potted them. Two days later, the first seedling emerged from the soil, shortly followed by the second. So, the Peaches & Cream were a bit more vigorous in germination than the White Gushers Cake. Now we can get started – and the selection begins! 🌱 🔃 We are very excited that the seeds are finally here! 🌱 All five are set to germinate – now I'm curious about the germination rate and especially how quickly and evenly they come up. With fresh seeds, I'm hoping for a fast and as uniform a start as possible without any major stragglers. 🧡 The goal is to get them growing as quickly as possible so we can start the selection early and finally choose our two candidates for the Cake Off. 1️⃣➕2️⃣ Now it's time to keep our fingers crossed for a strong start – and hopefully, there are two lovely ladies among them! 🤞🌱 Let the grow begin! 💚 Bake a sweeter tomorrow 🍰✌️

RockoCalenberg Week 1 – First differences are showing! 🌱 Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the first week! All five of the Peaches & Cream have germinated and are now showing well above the soil. Already, you can see the first differences in growth, leaf shape, and the uniformity of the leaves. 👀 Now, they all get another week to grow. Then we'll see who has developed how and who has what it takes to stay! 🌱 Bake a sweeter tomorrow 🍰 💚✌️

RockoCalenberg Week 2 – Totally relaxed 🌱 Day 8–14 The second week is over and we are taking it easy. To create as constant conditions as possible in the tent, the lighting continues to run 24 hours a day. With moderate 170–200 PPFD and a good distance from the plants. Light stress is not noticeable so far. Overall, the group is developing quite evenly now. Even the initially somewhat lanky candidates have settled down quite well again. There are hardly any larger outliers at the moment. White Gushers Cake #4, our little runt, has finally decided to form leaves. 😄 Number 5, on the other hand, remains buried in the soil. Nothing more will probably come from that. So far, there has only been water with some root stimulant, both for spraying and for watering. Maybe there will be the first small portion of fertilizer next week. I’m taking my time with the final selection. I just need more impressions and have to see how the individual plants develop further. You always have expectations. And in fantasy, you are sometimes already a few weeks ahead. 😄💨😂 Bake a sweeter tomorrow 💚✌️

Great video update, Rocko! 🎬 Your Peaches & Cream seeds sprouted so quickly, they must be trying to catch up to the rolling pin in your header image. Wishing you the best of luck with this run—can't wait to see who wins the Cake Off! 🎂🏆

Cool, I've got my eye on those too because of the fast flowering and high THC values, but they're damn expensive. I'm curious, I'll keep following. Good luck!

@JaramnieJazz, Thanks mate! 😎 The short flowering time is definitely a nice bonus, but what really caught my attention was the compact growth and smaller size. This is actually one of my two strains for the Dutch Passion competition grow – and the other one they sent me is supposed to be quite a strong stretcher. 😂 With only 1.80 m of height to work with, I’m really curious to see how those two will fit into one canopy. Should be fun! 🌱🔥💚
