Zengrower A New Grow, a New Fruit Bomb! 🍓🍒💣 Hey hey, my fellow cannabis friends! The GTools is empty again, and you know what that means: time for another adventure! 😁 This time with a strain that's been on my wishlist for quite a while: Fruit Bomb Punch by Dutch Passion! I received these seeds from Dutch Passion to put them to the test, but this lady had to wait patiently until there was some room in my GTools. If you've been following my grow diaries, you probably know by now that I'm a huge fan of fruity strains. And judging by the description of Fruit Bomb Punch, I'm in for a real treat! Dutch Passion promises an explosion of sweet, fruity aromas, with hints of citrus and ripe tropical fruits. And as if that wasn't enough, this beauty can also develop some stunning colors during flowering. Sounds like a feast for both the nose and the eyes! What makes this strain even more interesting to me is her genetic background. Fruit Bomb Punch has some Swiss Erdbeer in her DNA, a strain I'm a big fan of and had a fantastic grow with last year. That delicious fruity Erdbeer heritage has been combined with Tangie, Cherry Pie, and Sugar Bomb Punch genetics to create what promises to be an even bigger flavor explosion. Well, bring it on! Dutch Passion hasn't disappointed me yet. 😎 I'm also trying something new when it comes to nutrients and soil preparation. At Cannafair, I received a bag of Soma's Sacred Soil from Soma Seeds to try out. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to put it to the test! It does require a little more planning than I'm used to, though. You can't just mix it into your substrate and start growing straight away. The soil needs to rest for two to three weeks after mixing, allowing the microbial life to become active and establish itself. The idea is to create a healthy, living soil environment that supports the plant throughout its growth and flowering stages. Sounds promising, and I'm really curious to see how it performs! Meanwhile, I've already started germinating two seeds in rooting plugs. The first lady to pop her head above the surface gets the honor of moving into the GTools. The other one will have to settle for a spot on the substitutes' bench for now. 😉 So, everything is prepared, and now it's just a matter of waiting to see which lady will take center stage in this new adventure. I'm really looking forward to this one! Let the fruity adventure begin! 🌱🍓💚

Zengrower We have liftoff! 🚀 Both Fruit Bomb Punch seeds germinated successfully, so that's already a great start to this new adventure! I've selected one of the little ladies to take up residence in the GTools, while her sister will be staying on the substitutes' bench as a backup. You never know when you might need an extra player! 😉 Before moving her into her new home, I added a little Mycotrex to the soil to give her roots a helping hand. With Soma's Sacred Soil already prepared and ready to go, I'm hoping the combination will provide a nice, healthy environment for her to develop. The humidifier is keeping the relative humidity steady at around 60%, creating a comfortable climate for the young seedling. Meanwhile, the Sanlight LED is running at its lowest dimming setting. No need to give this little lady a sunburn on her first day! 😎 I'll gradually increase the light intensity as she grows stronger and develops her first sets of leaves. So, nothing too spectacular to report just yet, but that's exactly how I like the first week: a healthy little seedling, a comfortable environment, and hopefully no surprises! Now it's time to let Mother Nature do her thing. I'm really curious to see how this Fruit Bomb Punch develops, especially with the new living soil approach. Let the fruity journey begin!
