Well, she survived! The resilience of this strain has so far made it a very good beginner plant for me. I can very easily tell where I need to improve and how each plant is better than the next as I learn.
Have you noticed smth changed positively?
Despite the fact that the bud has been drying for several days and has noticeably reduced in size, I still don't feel like it's quite dry. Because of that, I went ahead and rounded down to 4 grams. Most of this bud will be going into baked goods, so when those are done I may throw in some pictures just for fun :)
I have not yet tried any, so I'll update with the consumption-related details later.
UPDATE: I made white chocolate blondies using the trim and a little bit of bud. I thought it would be fun to theme them after the Northern Lights, since that's the strain! You can find a picture above. Honestly, they turned out wonderfully. I measured them to about 1/2 gram of plant matter per blondie. Really though, 1/2 of a blondie will keep me high all day, and 1/4 of one is great for a long evening. I am VERY pleased with the results.
The rest of the bud has been curing in a jar in my room and whenever I open it, it smells curiously of peaches. It's actually wonderful. I'm still smoking through my last harvest so this one has some time to cure yet until I begin smoking it.00
