They yellowing on the edges on the leaves are to much watering little less.let her dry out a bit so it gets the roots searching for water, as the root mass grows so will you plant. Also double check your ph and recalibrate the probe, and make sure to clean the probe before calibrating. Not all phenos are equal either keep that in mind.

Depend how big you want it to be at the end of flowering. Personally I'd top her to let the lower nods catch up or you'll end up with a main cola 2 ft higher than all other bud sites. So I'd say top now and one last week of Veg then switch that girl she'll still have a minimum of 5 weeks of growth before she start producing heavy flowers.

At this point I would not defoliate anything. You can do a light defoliation after the flowering stretch is over. The only time this is needed is when the foliage is so thick that there is no air flow around the buds creating a risk of mold. Yours dont look dense enough for that to happen. You want to leave as many of those fan leaves as possible now because when they finish up flowering they are going to pull all of the nutrients out of those leaves in a last attempt to bulk the buds up. If there are not enough fan leaves they will pull nutrients out of the sugar leaves leaving brown leaf in your bud. Definitely dont want that. Hope this helps. Good luck flowering them!

Yes u can begin the flush. I see the hairs ur plant looks to be about 1.5 away. I like a combination more ripe bud. For instance I like some amber, hairs curled in, leaves yellowing, and isn't as thirsty as it's been. When I see all that when I harvest. Another pointer is I always harvest 1 to 2 weeks after breeder says it's done. That's when they really put on weight and pack crystals

Would love to know people's thoughts on potential weight????
Philindicus
Philindicuscommented5 years ago
@Greenfingers3713, Gotcha! I'm more of a social or occasional smoker myself maybe a few times a month but it's nice to sample it with a few tokes or have a few friends sample after it dries and cures a bit. If you don't smoke you can make some edibles from your trimmings there are plenty of recipes online for using/making tinctures, hash oil, cannabutter for cakes, cookies etc.
Greenfingers3713
Greenfingers3713commented5 years ago
@Philindicus, I don't really smoke so weight would be a help if you know what I mean
Philindicus
Philindicuscommented5 years ago
@Greenfingers3713, They look really nice. I would't worry about weight the quality is more important. Are you seeing any amber trichomes yet?

The only other thing I would recommend is to see if you can keep your temperatures under 80 F. I know its hard to do with the HID lights. I usually struggle a bit with the heat even using LED lights during the summer. I usually run my lights during the cooler times of day then turn them off during the hottest times. It does help out a bit.

@Greenfingers3713,Absolutely, I hear you with the weather in your area you had a lot of 96F day through out Europe. A lot of outdoor growers were stuggling with the heat.
Greenfingers3713
Greenfingers3713commented5 years ago
@Philindicus, I am trying to but is so hard with minimal equipment on my first grow. It is sometimes hitting 86f. Weather in the uk is so hit and miss at the minute. Is it OK to dm you for advice in the future

What are you looking at the trichomes with ? If your using a cell phone photo then blowing up it doesn't show the true color of the trichomes.
Philindicus
Philindicuscommented5 years ago
@Greenfingers3713, Any time. I find this part of the grow can cause a bit of anxiety for myself and other growers because trying to time your flush properly is important but then again if you flush too early you can rob your buds of some considerable weight since they really bulk up in the last couple of weeks. I'll follow along til you chop her down to put in my 2-cents. Hope I answered your question fully.

Hi, good luck with your grew. This is an observation from your set up photo I see you temp and humidity measurement device is above the light canopy it is best to put it at the centre area of the plants as this gives a more accurate measurement. Above the canopy can give false readings as hot air rises. It was just an observation nothing malicious was meant.👍
kitkat332986
kitkat332986commented5 years ago
@Greenfingers3713, No probs its not a late reply. Where you have it is ideal. laying then on the tent floor also gives false measurements. I have two in my tents one on string that is at plant centre which I take my readings from and the other where the carton filter is just to see how hot it is usually about 2 degrees C different👍
Greenfingers3713
Greenfingers3713commented5 years ago
@kitkat332986, hey man sorry for the late reply. The thermostat screen is at the top but I have a the reader at the bottom. It is at the back but half way down the tent. Should I move it all and lay it on the floor in between the plants. I know there is no malicious ment in your comment. I appreciate constructive criticism

Thanks for you reply. I haven't fed her for 4 days thinking that it may be over feeding put just put a litre on her with nutes. She's in a 22ltr pot Will have to wait now. How long would you leave it to feed again? I don't have prob to check soil pH. I just check water with nutes before??
