Welp, this one was definitely a lemon😅
The plant didn't even weigh a whole ounce (.99, really?!) She could have gone longer, but with nighttime lows being in the 30's and her looking like she wasn't taking it very well I decided to give her the chop.
This strain started out promising. Germed well and was strong the first few days of it's life, but the second I transplanted it went haywire. I think the high iron in my stream water threw her for a loop. She struggled for several weeks before she showed signs of coming around. Unfortunately by that time the weather was turning. Had she been with someone growing indoors who could monitor her better and make adjustments as needed I think she could have thrived. I would assume that this strain would do it's best indoor/hydro.
When it was apparent that she was having serious issues, this was no longer a "How much medicine can I get?" type of diary. It was a "Is this thing going to survive or not?" diary. Which it did, so I guess this is a win?😕
But with this being a difficult strain, I can comfortably say I will not be growing this again. It does have a lovely smell tho😏
@Master_weeda, Oh man! There are so many Star Wars strains... Jedi Kush from Cali Connection, Skywalker and Skywalker Kush from Mary's Seeds, Auto Jedi Kush from Short Stuff, Deathstar OG from Bonanza seeds, Sleepy Yoda and White Yoda from Philosopher Seeds. Most of them you can find from Seedsman👍
@StealthyDutchGuy, Yep, that main cola was thicc! Unfortunately since it didn't have the protection of the tomato roof it got a bit moldy😞 But still turned out well considering.
Hi! Your diary was very interesting. I'm growing this strain and she's a lil monster 😂 she looks healthy and well nourished but her leaves are twisted and, well, weird. In a sense, it's a relief to discover that so many growers had had problems with her. Anyway, thanks for this diary and thanks for not dumping her :)
@Thatsmyfirsttime, Thank you! Yours certainly looks better than mine. I think what it came down to was an iron issue for me. We have a lot of iron in our water and also the Big Bloom has a decent amount of iron in it too. Keep a close eye on yours!
I had a lady of this strain, that looked the same. I was saying good bye in week 3 after seeing a diary where one of 4 seeds comes out as a mutant. Maybe this strain is some kind of unstable and not every seed is a winner. In my case I thought by the way she looks, that she had a problem with sulfur because of yellowing veins. Iron deficiencies should be shown more by interveinal yellowing.
Would like to see you saving her but it might be a glitch in her genes causing these deficiencies. Good Luck!
@@creauto, Thanks. Good to know that you had issues too. I gave her a flush yesterday with some sledgehammer so hopefully that will give her a bit of a reset. I agree about the Sulphur, that was one of the minerals I was thinking of, but with the rust coloring on the new growth I'm really leaning towards iron (you can't see it very well in the photos). I hope I can save her too, but I have plenty of other strains if I don't😋 Thanks for checking in!
