The hot weather (up to 35°C) this week was (fortunately) interrupted by a cold front, which brought the temperatures to a comfortable 25°C.
Also the plant started produceing trichomes (little frost on the sugar leafs). I think the last LST & Defoliation session really helped the plant to increase bud production.
The odor of the plant started to be noticeable outside the grow tent, but this is no problem because it's not too strong. It has nice notes of lemon and tangerine, a light vanilla note (yes, it returned fortunately :-D ) and a medium skunky flavor.
After a nice chat with a good friend, who is really well-read in this subject, I decided to give one more time PK 13-14. Also my Plagron Alga Bloom stock ended and a good friend gave me an other bloom fertilizer. He told me that the plants he had literally exploded after giving this, so I'm very looking forward for it's influence on the plant.
In conclusion, this weeks progress satisfied me, but I really hoped that the buds thickened a little bit more up.
I also plan to upgrade my watering system. The stuff I ordered should be here next weekend. I think this investment is necessary, because the hot weather is returning and as I said, I'm only at weekends at my place to monitor the plant. :)
My hopes for next week are, that the plant intensifies trichome production and thickens the lovely bud sites. I also hope, that the plant odor gets stronger (but not too strong to be noticeable from the street).
I guess I can harvest the plant in about 2-3 weeks, some lower buds even in 4 weeks.
(If you haven't noticed, english isn't my native language, sorry about that).
Hey there!
Thanks so much for growing our genetics =)
Good luck with your Blue Dream'Matic, let's hope we all survive the heat this summer haha! 🙌🏼
Happy Growing 💚🌱
Hi @Mrohio,
Thank you for your question.
First of all, I train all my plants with this training method, even with high-stress-training (defoliation, topping, etc...).
I've also read online that this strain really loves Low-Stress-Training, which my plant can confirm :D
Hope I could answer your question :)
