@CRiSPrGrow,i think, u must start now. So much interesting information u'll get during grow time.
And I think u'll get some useful information for ur smart proteins!
@CRiSPrGrow,ahahaha scholar))) It's just perspective for me. I like to grow this part of nature, like to take care about it and in the end i like to taste it)
Its great when u love ur work. But in my country i cant do what i like( Here its can be just like my hobbie.
Thats why i need to improve my English level. I hope in one day ill join to some team or get my own and leave this middle ages.
They doesn't seem ready to be put to anniversary... It should be all white, and also give some days to consolidate the mycelial net...
Wish you luck! Take care with water droplets on mycelial, it will ruin your first flush, which is the flush that create all the pin heads for the other flushs!
A thin layer of vermiculite would be perfect to keep moisture and help them to grow!
@ho99o9, ow! that really hurted in my heart... Take it easy. The less you "take care" on shrooms, the better. They are too sensitive to be blowed by air, or to be heated.
If I were you what I would do :
Write LHUT in a board, and think how to maintain that :
Luminosity
Oxygen
Humidity
Temperature.
For this moment, what I would do is :
L - dark place
O - closed place with air exchange, although the place where the spawn is must have only a hole to exchange a bit of air.
H - Just place a layer of 1~3mm of vermiculite or perlite(it's called casing layer) over the spawn so it suck the excess and give a bit more if needed. Maybe spray just a bit of water over perlite.
T - if it's could, heat until 25~28 ºC.
.
Look only once in 2 days. White/blue light may force pins to be created and the energy to spread the Mycelium will be lost.
What you aiming right now is a bit of white coverage over the perlite/vermiculite (if you put). If you don't, you're looking for a full strong white Mycelial net over the spawn.
But take care, too much mycelium over the perlite will create a weak net, that wont relate to the under net.
If your mycelium became like a root upside down is be cause the lack of fresh air, and as you are already with myc all over the spawn, it1's time to Anniversary (that's the expression we use in my place, maybe because we call the spawn a cake).
In the day you see the mycelium all over, give 1~2 more days to consolidate the net in the area where you don't see it.
When it become strong, a mushroom in the corner of the cake will have the strength of the whole cake to afford a energy/nutrient delivery.
Remember or learn now that the first days on light is the most important, these are the days that the pins are formed for the whole batches...
Many of what I said came from 2 years dedicated only to learn and grow mushrooms. But many of these knowledge is written in here :
http://library.uniteddiversity.coop/Permaculture/Mushroom_Cultivator-A_Practical_Guide_to_Growing_Mushrooms_at_Home.pdf
I was the kind of guy which was stupidly proud to say that never have read a book, and that changed with mushroom (and muuuuuuch more). This book unravel every step of the cultivation. Steps that I didn't realized it was a step before I read.
To start read page 127 about the casing layer I've said.
It's a Pleasure to re use my old knowledge again.
Have a Shroom !!! 🙌
I'm loving this Diary, 👍👏👏. I'd love it even more if you had extended the information a little more and explained the process better, anyway it still a very good work. 👌.
Nice!! Are you ready for the next batch from the same substract? Just let it 12h with water on fridge to get moist again.
Btw, for you to get more psilocybin you must collect when the veil is almost breaking, before it open the top and release spores... At this stage they wasted some part of their magic to spread their genetic all over the world!
Is it 01.08 already there??
They are in the best moment! The moon is now going to pull all the energy from below to the mushrooms, such a coincidence.
The 01.08 picture show the pins starting to form. The Mycelium is twisting itself to form!!
Nice grow, wish you great mushrooms!
