Another week of flower. Still growing quite steadily in height. Weather was horrendous this week but should improve starting today. Buds still need fattening and overall she looks still very early in flowering stage. not much to do at this moment except monitoring and feeding. week done, buds are starting to grow fatter. cleared some old leaves.

Leaf veins seem to be getting lighter or am i imagining things? Growing in canna terra pro+, with light feeding and ph water. (http://www.canna-uk.com/terra_professional_plus). Any tips regarding this semi soilless substrate since I seem to be having a harder time then the other

@Kenethica Hi there I think you need some supplemental calcium and magnesium I have also noticed some bites out of your bottom leaves which suggests insect damage. I would get some diatomaceous earth and sprinkle some around the plant and make a spray with the DE mixed with water for the leaves, this will eventually deter insects from eating your leaves and also add silica to your soil which helps build cell walls in the plant essentially making it stronger Hope this helps mate

@Germano,I checked yours, they look really great! im not sure my nutes are organic though. they have a bio line, maybe ill check those next time. Im now doing 1ml/1 might go higher if spots dont grow bigger on the tips.

@DILLIGAF, hi man, I'll definitely will get me some calmag tonight for her. I'll look into silica as well. Thx! The damage on the bottom leaves is my doing. I damaged her roots early on causing the weird growth. I spray once a week with canna cure and give them a garlic concentrate with the feeding to keep the bad guys away. I will however look into the DE. Never heard of it before. Might be a good alternative to the canna cure

@Kenethica, ah, dont do it by feeling, do it by feeeeeling lol, sorry man i'm in a good mood, forgot to link you about this : usually i'll suggest that folks use the lifting pot method : use this method to never overwater again ! www.youtube.com/watch cannazym is decent, i would even say it's their best product

@CRiSPrGrow, hi thx for the info. I will look into it tonight. I messed up it's roots as a seedling and stunted it indeed but it seems to have recovered a bit. Might look into that enzyme thing as well. Saw canna has it. As for the wet dry cycle currently I'm doing it by feeling the upper inches of the substrate then watering when needed. Often less than a litre. Has been 4 days since last watering because substrate stayed wet.

hey man... the soil looks really dry and the plant looks like that because the roots are unevenly refreshened with water.. go ahead and add some root growers and beneficial microbes. it really helps! good luck.

@MaryJaneUSA, Hi, yeh top cm is dry because of direct sunlight but i poke a finger in there every day and feel the weight to check the actual wetness. You are however correct with the uneven distribution of water. I corrected this since today. gonna add some more things to the water as soon as they arrive.
