Hey Everyone, It was a pretty good week for the Matanuska Thunder. This update and the pictures are for Day 32 of flower, I wasn't thinking and went a week from the last update an that was day 24.So for the next one I will either go a week from this one or 10 days an hit week 6 of flower we will see how she progresses. She is a very fast flowering strain and due to this I decide to add some House&Garden Top Booster a little earlier than usual/recommended from their chart. It is usually added for either week 5 or 6 depending how quick or long it flowers. It helps trigger the final stages of flowering shifting all it's energy to the bud sites. It seems to be doing its job๐ Also dropped the base nutes Aqua Flakes A&B down to 10mL/gal from 14mL/gal the reason for this, 14 is a little higher than their recommended dosage so when I start to add the mid/late flower nutes I tend to drop the base a tid bit. Not much else went on this week. The smell is getting fairly unique lemon-lime very ripe bananas with some pine trees somewhere in the background๐ Such a nice Plant! Thanks for stopping in to check things out! Happy Growing an Plentiful Harvests Everyone๐๐
@CRiSPrGrow,Thanks Brotha!!๐ Glad to be back in the swing of things getting shit going ๐ Wait till you see the system i will flower her in๐ Goin to 8 gall sites and 13 gal control res with 2" sends and 1" return I cant wait๐
@Bigrobbud, Heyy Bigrobbud!! Sorry for such a late reply it's been hectic lately๐ On That Set up ( The Small System) I have 5 buckets total, 4 sites for the plants an on for the Res. I used 1 inch black tubing connected to bulkheads from the res, one on each side of res at the bottom. the buckets have flat spots to drill the holes for said bulkheads. then I have a 90* elbow on each line off of the Res. then it 1 inch tubing all the way to the back buckets. At the REAR of the back buckets I went down to 3/4 inch tubing that comes a few inches off the back on each side connected to 90*s on both sides that go to a T and then the T runs to the Inline pump that shoots the water back up into the res๐ I hope this makes sense and if you have any other questions just let me know! As for the Groblocks I'm pretty sure those were 4"x 4" rockwool cubes in an 8 inch net pot. Since then though I have found that 3" wide X 4" Tall blocks fit very nice into 6 inch net pots. As for keeping them from getting soaked I keep the water level a little lower than most that do the 1 inch under net pot I go more like 3 to 4 inches below an it works very well! I know this response is a a little late lol but I hope it helps! Happy Growing an Plentiful Harvests๐
