Sweet Seeds: Cream 47

Due to a vacation and a burnt out driver for my COB LEDs, I had a good bro start up and veg these 3 feminised CREAM 47 beans which were gifted to me from Sweet Seeds. I had to purchase a new driver for the COBs and also ordered 2 of the new gromaus Chiled Logic v3 Pucks. Each cob and puck are being driven at 100watts but I have them dialed back to half power right now. The girls were severely lacking light,as my friend only had a small T5 light to spare during veg so they will need loads of love over the next week. I repotted them from 1gallon to 7gallon fabric pots, gave them nutrients and rootzone beneficials along with a slight trim/crop/cut/snap here and there. They are looking alright now although a little weak but Im sure the new home and lights will fix this quickly so I can move on to flowering. Cream 47 is an indica 50% /sativa 50% hybrid of Cream Caramel X AK47 .......hope they turn out killer :)

Hit'n'Flip day 1 8L of aerated tap water (160ppm).... Mixed a batch of BLOOM nutrients of CYCO PLATINUM SERIES bottles with a hit of Advanced Nutrients BUD IGNITOR to get the ball rolling. Timer set to 12/12 (9am-9pm). Cobs are still at half power and Logic pucks at full power. Hopefully we see something in 7days time, but you cant really rush mother nature - even though we try :)

It has been very hot the last couple of weeks. Some days have been +30C . Indoor air conditioning has been running hard just to keep temps around 24c. I installed my wind devil 10" fan at the roof of my tent to cool the LEDs and strengthen my branches and stalks. I attached a clipon fan to my drivers which were scorching hot, but are much cooler now...Making the choice of installing the drivers outside of the tent was truly a great plan...there is a LOT of heat coming off of them. I have been hitting my waterings with A/N Bud Igniter which proves to show that it begins flowering very quickly. You can easily see that the plants have been stretching and flowering already within 7 days of 12/12. I also added in Bud Factor X. Everything is looking good right now, my next water will have no nutrients with a hit of sugars and bacteria. I am attempting this round to not feed so heavily. I have been overfeeding in the past leading to issues. If all things keep moving well like this, I hope to start seeing frost in 7-10 days if the genetics allow it.

14 full nights of 12/12.... Budding looks excellent. There has been around a 5 inch stretch since flip which is perfect for me. I gave a 0ppm watering and a 550ppm watering 3 days later. I will not be feeding these heavily. I see a few slightly burnt tips, but nothing drastic. Temperatures are still very high and I've been doing everything possible to keep the tent cool, but it is hot. I dont want to purchase an air conditioner for the room. Things look well regardless and I am REALLY HOPING to see some frost by next update.

21days of flowering: Some yellowing on larger leaves has occurred. I am fine with that because it is my intention to feed lower amounts of Nitrogen this tent round. I did feed more Nitrogen this last watering, ppm is 900. I do not see any other signs of issues. Nirvana has been added. I did a decent defoliation of bud blocking fan leafs and under growth I find is juvenile and will not amount to much. One of the three plants is more compact. All three girls are just beginning to show signs of frosting. The bud structures look excellent for 21 days of flowering. There is a faint but sweet scent from my hands after manipulating the plants. I still have a solid 3 weeks of nutrients to feed, I think these buds will be beasts.

Things look really well. There is noticeable bud-only growth and trichomes. Starting to get a bubblegum/sweetly scent with your nose in there Day 25 : Topped off pots with ProMix HP and RAW Bloom (Bacteria & Fungi) with a full blast of nutrients 2.2ec / 6.2 PH Day 28 feed was 0.8ec with no A/B but a solid push of potash for blooms. Its hard to lay off the nutes. No new yellowing at all but effected, larger leafs are SLIGHTLY more faded. Spun the plants and moved them around to catch different light once a day. Spoke to local rep about getting a liter of Supa Sticky. Tested soil sample 6.5ph, will do more daily testing. The new growmaus V3 pucks are doing a great job with the COBs Day29: Soil reading of 5.8ph Havn't had much traffic during this grow, but I do this mainly for my own reflection.

Stretch has totally stopped. Buds are set all around. Stopped using Potash and am using Swell now. Some more yellowing of fan leaves, removed some very pale leaves. There are obvious differences in the 3 plants although the bud structure and scent are the same. One has more red pistols and had the most stretching One is squat with thickeT buds One is middle hight with fairly thick buds and some red pistols The buds are getting heavier, I will have to tie things up tomorrow. I've changed PH to 6.1 and will go down to 6 next watering. Watering is roughly every 3rd day. 1 gallon per plant (7g pots) Temperature and humidity have been up and down all week...(Outdoor plants are showing signs of PM so I am keeping a keen eye) So far I am happy with the growth and the buds are definitely puttin on frost. Roughly 2 more weeks of nutrients, so these buds should get fatter now. Wish me luck

I had to do a lot of staking and tying this last week because of fast weight,I will be using trellis netting again next grow. Buds are swelling up now and there is noticeably more tricome coming out. The smell is deliciously sweet, no fuel or skunkyness to it at all. I smell melon, mango, sweet onion. It is very appealing. All 3 smell the same but each look slightly different. Because the tying brought branching tighter, I had to take roughly 7-10 fans from each plant. Some were already fading out anyhow. I'll likely be watering less frequently now because of that and age. Checking the calendar this is day 45. Two weeks until targeted date according to breeder. to me this becomes a touchy time. Not quite sure how hard to push with a new genetic, or to lay off early and fade. I just hit them pretty hard with 2.3ec. I think I am opting to fade now by lowering my nutrients to 1ec after a pure water (5-6days)

Final days are coming. This is an 8 week flowering strain so I started with PH water +sugar a few days ago. Supposedly the final week now. Louped my trics, Majority are still clear, 20%cloudy and very little amber. Frostiness is good, scent is very sweet. There is much more fading now and the buds are turning slightly purple. Removed a few more dieing fans which were blocking bud sites. Buds are fattening up very well, even lowers are getting a good dose of lighting. I should be able to harvest fully without any fluffy bottoms Cyco Platinum Nutrients are doing excellent work. Until next week, it is water here on out and possibly a few shots of Flawless Finish.

Day 56: These 3 girls are finishing out. Cyco nutrients did awesome for me! I found a top with some bud rot beginning to start so I lopped that off. It was not much, but I got it early (learned first hand in the Gorilla Girl grow). Humidity has been higher these days. Buds are turning slightly purple. Decent amount of sugar on the buds now. Trics are mostly cloudy, very few amber. Most pistals have withered and calyx look swollen. Smell is beginning to give a cakey-gas undertone to the up front scent of overripe cantaloupe across all 3 plants. There is a tiny bit of pine. I need a cell with a better camera :( Some more days of water and Flawless Finish then the chop.

I ended up with ONE POUND (my largest haul) of dried buds. The bud size was quite large, even lower buds were big thanks to the penetration of the LEDs. There was minimal trimming to do. Pretty good haul for a 2x4 tent with 3 plants :) Cyco Platinum series nutrients worked very well. I am no longer going to use the much more expensive Advanced Nutrients as a whole but will still use VooDoo Juice and Flawless Finish. All in All it was a great flowering run. The buds are now pump sealed in jars for the cure. Drying went well, just 7 days hanging, slight trim and into containers for a week of burping. Humidity was sticking around 60% during this time. I was going to use my used Boveda packages but them stink like my older pot so I didnt....Should retain humidity as is.
