Ok so I've done a photoperiod of this strain a while ago and loved the smoke, I'm hoping these autos will live up to that. I've switched out my 600w cool tube for a full spectrum Prakasa led cob 300w to control the temps a bit more, plus it's a solid led and has everything my girls need. I'm also using Canna Coco professional plus for the growing medium.
These girls are looking strong, upped EC to 1 will continue at that for another week or so. I'm doing a side by side with these I have another plant in a 10ltr airport where as you can see these are just in normal square pots, these airpots are supposed to be the s#@t so we'll see if they make any dif at all.
Today I missed a feed and gave them1ltr of TNC Calmag agent at 2ml per litre of clean pH water, the reason I don't give them any feed while dosing them with Calmag is because it shoots the EC through roof, I do this before any brown deficiency spots appear, works every time. having some slight humidity issues but nothing really to worry about.
Not much to say about these girls, they look bushy and healthy could do with a bit of light defoliation over bud sites. Had some slight mute burn on one of them, other than that no other issues.
These girls are looking very green and bushy but are very short, I've raised the light a few more inches to see if I can get them to stretch. Another dose of calmag today, not showing any pistils yet which is also worrying given they're indica Dom thought they'd be well into it by now as their sister plant who's sativa Dom is already showing flowers and they were started at the same time, this is probably gonna cause me some feeding issues as they're all on the same at the minute.
Nothing much to report plants aren't gaining height very well, they're bushing out a lot and are staying very short. 6 weeks in and they're still on veg and only just showing their pistils.
Ok so not sure what's going on with these 3, I haven't trained them at all pulled off a few leaves here n there, they are taking such a long time to flower if I didn't 100% know they were autos I'd think they were photos. I have 1 plant that's only 18inch high and is just starting to flower, 1 plant at 21 inch which has no flowers at all only just showing pistils and the last plant is 23inch and is slightly ahead as far as flowering goes. I've switched them all to big bud with grow as they're still stretching, I'm hoping the big bud Coco will kick them off.
3 of the same strain 3 completely different phenos I've only took pics of the 2 best looking the 3rd I'm tempted to get rid of as she's so small and reedy but she is flowering tho I'll give it that. One of my plants still isn't showing flowers, pistils but no flowers I'm starting to think she's a photoperiod I've never had an auto go this long without flowering before, other than that issue she looks amazing.
Àll 3 of my royal gorilla are at different stages I'm not enjoying this grow at all they are very slow growers and bloomers, so much so I've had to take 1 plant out and put it in her own tent with 12/12 lighting to try and kick her off never had this problem with autos before.
Well this strain is a pain in the arse 10wks in and they've barely put any weight on especially plant 1 feel like I'm just wasting nutes on her. Not gonna get much from this crop.
Switching them to overdrive this week not got a lot to say about them as they aren't doing the best, I haven't bother taking any pics of plant 1 as she's bare will probably chop her down for butter.
Had these girls on overdrive for a week well 2 of them anyway one of them is still on bigbud coco for one more week then I'll switch, the other 2 will be getting flushed in a week
3 of the same strain 2 are going into flush and the big one is getting another week of overdrive as she seems to be responding well to it I started her off on it much later than the other 2 probably be another 2 weeks before she comes down.
This is the last plant to come down I have chopped down 2 of them they are currently drying, gonna flush her for a week then give my report she's been a tough one to grow i almost chopped her down early didn't think she was gonna flower so well and thought I was just wasting nutrients, glad I didn't now.
Got a lot more from these girls than expected, a very nice very strong smelling indica, reminds me of the wonderful smells walking past coffee shops in the dam.
