Got this little emerald triangle gem running in the dutch buckets. 100% perlite. Heavy indica. Soaked her in tap water until she popped then transferred into rockwool cube. When the taproot appeared from the bottom I placed her in the perilite and got the water pumping. Will be recirculating nutrients 24/7 until the roots can grow some. She won't see a second of darkness. The plan is to run 2 plants in the system but the other girl is not ready to go yet.
This girl has kept me busy this week. On day 9 I let the ph climb pretty high as you can see from the damaged leaves. As soon as I corrected it she took off and got hungry. Had to up her feed and added a little cal mag. I wanted to top her and leave 2 sets of main branches but she seems pretty tempermental so I just took the little top off and left her with 3 sets. Her node spacing is a little wide even though I have a cfl right on top of her. She seems to be doing well now growing like crazy. Her leaves are huge already. I decided not to do a water change this week just topped the nutrients off and she seems happy. With a little luck it looks like she might grow into a decent size lady. Still pumping nutrients and light to her 24/7
Day 15. I was not happy with the way she was shaping up. I wanted to cut her down to the 2nd node but I decided to just pull her fan leaves and bend her over 😇😈. This will be the most random training I have done. No symmetry. Just pull her down where I can and keep her spread out. Should be interesting....I hope.
3 weeks in and training camp is in session for this girl. She wants to grow tall and fast. Supposed to be mostly indica but I am not seeing it in her at all. I bend her down a little every day. If she keeps going a this rate I may top her again in a few days. I may end up giving her a room to herself if she spreads out enough.
I gave her a 5 gallon flush and fresh nutrients to start the week off. She loves that nitrogen. I am excited to try to get this one to her full potential! Still beaming light and pumping nutrients to her 24/7
I would swear this plant was pushing 8 weeks in veg but she is 28 days old today. I have never seen a faster growing plant! She is definitely a happy girl. I have been pulling a few leaves every day that are blocking lower branches. Been trying to spread her out as much as possible. Im going to give her the room to herself soon when I harvest a six shooter. I usually try to keep my nutrient program as simple as possible but I added some armor si and some soluble 90% humic 10% fulvic acid to see if it will maintain a steady ph. So far so good. Pumping nutrients and light 24/7. Might try to scrog this girl or something to get her even wider but have to see how it plays out juggling plants around. I am definitely excited to see what she does in flower.
She is big, fat, and happy. Flushed her and gave fresh nutrients. Hoping to get her moved to a little bigger space soon. This girl is going to be a big one if all goes well.
Was finally able to get this girl moved. She is a monster. Didnt take her long to spread out and fill the space. This plant has a funky nasty smell to it unlike anything I have seen before. It is literally attracting flies it smells so bad! I am not sure how I feel about this.... She is under a 240w QB. I cut the lights back to 18 hours and shes hitting preflower starting to stretch. Added a little maxibloom after her weekly 10 gallon flush. Defoliated a lot of lower branches and and fan leaves and she is pretty happy.
She is in full flower now getting out of control. A few of the colas have stretched over 8 inches the past 2 days. I did some supercropping on several colas to keep them even. I upped the maxibloom and she is looking pretty happy. I have trimmed at least 50 branches off the lower side of this plant through the grow but you cant tell by looking at it. I feel like she needs a lot more trimming but going to let her go a few days before I trim anymore. She is a monster! The room is 42 inches wide and she is taking up every inch of it. Hope she stops stretching soon.
I think the stretch is about over and she is a monster. She has about 50 tops and is starting to frost up already. She had a funky cheese smell up until this week. The aroma has changed to a fruity strawberry cream smell reminds me of a slice of strawberry cheesecake. If all goes well then I think she will easy produce more than a half pound. I cut out the grow nutrients and added liquid koolbloom after her weekly 10 gallon flush. Also upped the maxibloom a little. I am very impressed with the vigor of this plant. Never seen one grow so fast!
Gave her the weekly 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Her aroma is like sweet strawberry cheesecake. The buds are stacking up more every day. I am seeing some yellowing on the leaves directly under the light so I raised the light up a little.
This cheesy girl is stacking buds and doing well. The calyxes are larger than average. Some are the size of a pea. Gave her the weekly 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. The addition of humic/fulvic acid seems to really help the roots absorb nutrients. I have lowered the dose. She has a really great aroma like strawberry cheesecake. Hoping this aroma translates to a nice flavor. Pumping nutrients 24/7. I am expecting to pull over a half pound off this beautiful girl if the run continues to go smooth.
Only challenge at this point is keeping the buds from falling over. Tied up the ones I can get to. She has pea size calyxes and I think she has one final push in her to fatten up a little more. Probably another week then I will start flushing her. Buds smell like pungent strawberry cheesecake. Very impressive genetics. This strain is definitely a good option for Scrog. It can fill up a 4 x 4 nicely
Chopped her down . This strain is very impressive. Buds are covered in frost. Looking like at least a half pound. Going to trim all the fan leaves then start the final trimming after she dries for a few days. Will update harvest when she is dried and trimmed.
This is a connisseur class smoke. Buds are almost white with resin and one of the best flavored buds I have ever had the pleasure of smoking. The flavor is complex with notes of pungent cheese and sweet fruit. Mixed berry cheesecake is the best way I can describe it. It is a pretty balanced smoke. Starts off with massive lung expansion and a hard hitting head rush that fades into a mellow high that has me grinning from ear to ear. She was a crazy fast growing plant from day 1 and never stopped impressing putting off over 11 oz of tasty cheese. She was definitely a heavy feeder. She wanted a lot of nitrogen until the flowering stretch ended. The calyxes are pea sized dense pebbles and the buds are pretty thin. This strain is a winner. I will definitely be growing another one of these and if you like flavor you should too!
This was a smooth run as most are in the Dutch buckets. I flowered her on a 5 gallon reservoir which was a challenge to keep topped off towards the end when she was drinking over a gallon a day. Definitely my best autoflower yet.
@Greymangenetics, I also just noticed your comment where you were like "fair play"... It seems this site does not post things in the proper order, and sometimes if I refresh the page it even seems to shift the order of posts.... Very confusing.
@Jwjoh,yea that’s good stuff mate. It appears some people think I was having a dig at growing on the cheap. I wasn’t at all. My comment was regarding the fact that the guy said in his comment that he got the from a charity. My point being if you want to grow bud you should probably But your shit or get it from somewhere that doesn’t need every penny it gets.
@Greymangenetics, I also believe in using whatever is available. I bought a small tent, a decent fan, and a decent light... Some solo cups for starting clones. Everything else is recycled stuff. Even the flower pots came from free flowers we got for buying large amounts of groceries, and the string I'm using for LST is old string my spouse threw out and I pulled it out of the trash. I'm about to build a still to distill my own water using an old stainless steel bucket, copper tubing for a condenser, and a stainless steel teapot for the source water. If I need a bung for where the condenser meets the tea pot, I'll probably use duct tape if I don't have anything more suitable around. Going to post a pic on my diary when I build it. I'll even clear brush in the yard, light it up in a fire pit, and use that for the energy to boil the water. ;) It's more fun to make it up as you go along!!!
@CRiSPrGrow, Thanks I wish they all grew as fast as this one. Her stalk looks like it belongs on a 8 ft tall plant. It is my first cheese strain and it smells bad.
@Jwjoh, this plant had some bad smells through the grow. It literally smelled like shit sometimes. It turned pretty fruity so hopefully it tastes nice. It is my first cheese strain.
