Strain description:
Fast Buds’ first entirely medicinal strain, CBD 20:1. High in CBD at up to 20% and a THC content as low as 0,3%, making this strain legal in the majority of countries around the world. CBD 20:1 has the potential to alleviate many pains and disorders and with such low THC levels, this strain is perfectly suitable for those who are not regular cannabis users.
Dense Buds
Firm buds packed full of CBD and all of its therapeutic properties. Great for breaking up for a spliff, or especially useful for making extractions to create oils, creams, tablets, edibles, and all kinds of other medicinal products you wish to use.
Purely Medicinal. The perfect antidote to various ailments. In many cases, users claim to have found relief from issues such as anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, inflammation, and others. CBD aka Cannabidiol doesn’t produce any psychoactive effects, therefore this is a great option even for non-consumers. Before popping a pill, try popping some of these seeds.
Those lovely peeps at FastBuds have very kindly provided me with some CBD test seeds.
All I know is CBD / THC ratio is 20:1!
So seeds planted in Biobizz Light Mix and currently sitting on a heat mat in the propagator. 2 T5s ready to switch on once they've broken soil.
Gonna be interesting!
Update...
We have lift off. Heeds have popped so let the fun commence. Day 1 - 31/07
Healthy growth, healthy colour.
A little feed with the biosys funghi and a light spray with the diamond nectar.
Nowt else to shout about.......for the moment!
Showed signs of overwatering late last week [wilting leaves] Have only misted since and she seems well on the road to recovery though a week behind other plants in the tent - no concerns given that I don't want to grow monsters.
Biotabs added at transplant so let's see how they perform given I've not used them before.
Day 34 and the little lady has recovered well from a slight overwatering.
Still feeding diamond nectar through foliar feeding once a day - the plants they aint complaining!
Equilibrium just commenced again through foliar feed.
Nowt else to shout about - think that might change shortly!
🙏
End of week 6 and although healthy she's substantially smaller than her CBD Crack cousins - no worry as growing fairly small was always the plan though I'm of the thinking that I might have stunted her a little with the overwatering a couple of weeks ago. Other than being a petite lady she seems healthy in all other respects and she's a few days into preflower.
Tapering off the diamond nectar and 6 days into feeding the equilibrium. Leaving some light residue on the leaves when foliar fed - easily sorted by misting with water a few hours later.
The Biotabs appear to be doing the job although they take a little while to get up to speed - gentle feed for a couple of weeks would be recommended [as I've been advised by my learned friend - LaBossaNova 👊]
The real fun is just about to commence - yeah baby! 😘
Growing like a mini xmas tree and although small continue to chug along and throw out pistils fast and furious.
A little defol / lolipopping though nowt else to shout about.
end of week 9 and the little lady is packing on the weight - one chunky primary cola with a crown of bud sites surrounding her.
starting to give off lovely aroma, fruity though hard to determin what fruit exactly - probably has something to do with several different strains being run.
feed regime remains the same and other than a light defol i'm just gonna let her chug along until the snip!
end of week 13 and she's still drinking plenty and taking recommended dose of biotabs pk 5-8 [4ml / l]
continues to phatten up and showing little indication that she gonna be finishing soon.
👺
OK so she down - bud trichs at 20% amber so decision made easy.
Foxtailing developed in the last 2 weeks - speaking with fast_buds I might have gone past the ideal harvest date.....or it's a genetic issue. Don't think light height is responsible as 4 other strains that grew concurrently had typical bud formation.....unless this lady more sensitive to the LEDs than others [possible???]
Otherwise an easy grow - early stunting through over watering aside [hence her small but perfectly formed appearance!]
In the brown paper bags and likely to stay there for at least 5 days before they go into the jars.
Full report to follow once everything cured and I've had a chance to experience her CBD effects.
Thanks Heather for allowing me the opportunity to give this strain a go.
A little late and thanks to r-man for the prompt. so aroma wise pine is the dominant scent and more pungent then anything else grown this year. effect wise - i was hoping primarily for pain relief for chronic back pain. it certainly worked on that. a little sedative which certainly helps with sleep. a couple of friends have been given some - one for anxiety and another hoping to replace tramadol with erb - both fedback v positively!
Sorry for bothering you, can you make a picturs of the whole plant=? i need to see how big she is// how she grows, because iam looking for an automatic HIgh cbd//low cbd strain...
@Mrs_Larimar, 50cm from soil to top of main cola - over watered her early doors and although she recovered well i clearly stunted her growth to a degree. i have a 2nd cbd 20.1 in 2 litres of soil and she grew small too in comparison to other strains in same size pots. [perhaps genetics?]
@Fast_Buds,
thank you for giving me the opportunity FB.
here's hoping i grow this to its full potential - any guidance, as always, would be most welcome!
👊👊👊
@mr_h_kovert, Yup the smell in grow room is so sweet all the time from all strains😋 LOL , some Just a little stronger than others as you know ,I could stay in all day and just taken it in 😎👍, lovin it, happy growing mate
@raptor65,
thanks raptor man - you a nemisis of batman's? 😁
i've a few strains runnin in the tent so hard to decipher what scent is comin from where - i can tell you it's startin to smell shweet in the tent! 👊👊👊
@mr_h_kovert,
Thanks been looking for a good Indica leaning CBD for night time use as the CBD Crack just wont do just a bit too much giddy-up in that one.
Will grow one next CBD grow 😄
Lmfao the last photo 😂😂😂😂 btw what does she smell like? Give the smoke report as well? Cbd and thc ratio? Sorry I'm high man. I'm asking cus she looks juicy 👽
@Visions,
cut down today v-man and early sniff reminded me of linseed oil - obvs hoping that changes during the cure!!
the clue RE cbd and thc ratio is in the name of the strain you nipple 😀
👊🏻🧔🏻👊🏻
@rhodes68,
i'm wondering too bro ✊
all day off on friday so i'm going to have a close inspection with the loupe and I'll have me weekly update posted too - dont think i'm that far away from chopping?
👊👊
@TheBudWhisperer,
still a little while yet.........i think - throwing out plenty of pistils so hopefully the little lady's waist gonna bulge some more! 💪
👊💀👊
How about the trichome formation? thc strains start crystalline and become Cloudy meaning thc peak, and them amber for cbd formation, how does it occurs at cbd strain?
@Psilocubensis,
i've read [just not sure where] that you treat a cbd strain in the same fashion - cloudy trichs.....few ambers...chop chop. [i will check with FB to be sure!]
@@Fnord23,
I always use foliar Fnord - initially water once every other day and mist inbetween - figure a little misting replicates nature and plants appear to love it. I even light mist during flower!👊
