This week i didnt look after my baby girl because it was my childrens b. day.
I had no time to see her and she almost died beacause of to much heat and low humidity.
But daddy is here now, and back to raise her as i should.
Thank god the temp and humidity are under control again.
This week i repotted my babygirl from a 16 OZ redcup to a 3 gallon rootpouch to give her more space underground to play with.
The transplant was at the right time, my girl had no transplant shock or other problems.
This week my girl grew nice and the stem thickened up.
I topped her and bent her over for 2 times. (LST)
I also lowered the light, but overdid it a little bit.
The upper leaves got burned a little bit, next day i raised the light to a better hight.
Last thing i did was remove the lower growth, 1st 3 nodes down the stem.
I hope she branches out nicely. 😎
This week my girl had some issues but also develepment.
She had a rough week, the ph was to high and she didnt drink al her food.
On the old growth the deficiency is visible, new growth is not infected.
Topped her again yesterday(times 4). Main tops and 2 side ones.
The stem thickened up real nice after her training.
Yesterday i also flush fed her with a lower ph so she can drink everthing this time and get the old feeding out of the coco.
Hope she takes the bait 😋
I had little time to update.
But better late than never.
In this week my girl had to struggle through the deficiency and she did well for what the been through.
When i started training i lost a main top because i was training to agressive.
I also defoliated a few leaves.
This week my girl did better than last week. She's recovering and getting ready for flower.
I put a SCROG screen over my girl, also to keep the other plants on the same hight.
I also defoliated her a little bit besides the regular feeding sessions.
Next week she's going into flower.
Wish her luck 😋
Hi growers, this week i did not had a lot of time, but i still had tons of work to do.
And i also wanted to go into flower.
The reason i added an extra week to growth was because i orderd a new filter and it didnt arrive for a week and half, but my girl didnt care about that.
I even think she liked the extra added week.
There is also lesser sign of deficiency.
I defoliated her and bented her as always with extra love from daddy. 😎❤️
On to the next week!
The week i finally started the flowering cycle.
I renewed my filter so im sure theres no smell later on.
My girl is very happy she grew a little.
Its now time for her to form the buds.
She got here first flower meal and she wants some more now. 😎
Well daddy's gonna give it to her.
Little defoliating this week, but still bending her down daily.
I hope she starts formimg small tops during next week, so we can see her beautyness.
Up to next week 👍🏾
I was happy to see that my not so little girl anymore had started to form tops as i expected. That was the sunny side of this week.
As you can see daddy was agressive an clumsy as always and while bending her down, i snapped one of her beautifull stems.
Geneticly she is superstorng so i didnt patch her up and left it like that.
I think she well be ok as time goes by and will fully receiver from this by herself.
Thats the reason i didnt defoliate this week, no extra stress or bending.
Im gonna wait for her to recover and than imma give her some more space to stand tall, so she can show us what shes got.
Her smell is amazing and very delicious. Berrys mixed with gelato 😍
See you next week. Peace✌️🏾
Hello growers, another week update.
My girl has been doing ok this week.
She didnt die on me 😋 and also where i broke here last time the branch did not rot or fell of, so im actually very happy.
The wound is still not full recovered yet but its getting better day by day.
One problem solved and the next one is poppin up, high humidity during the night.
She was ready for a heavy defoliation, and thats what i did.
I also raised the light to prevent plant burn, i added a few centimeter as she grew a bit on me.
Overall i think she's a happy plant, nothing's perfect but hopefully well be ok in the end.
See you next week, happy growing. Peace 👊🏽
Hello growers and budlovers.
This week i had a few hundred of thrips who came uninvited to my girls party.
Luckely i saw them in the first larv stage.
First day i saw them they were in the coco.
So i mixed 3% hydrogen peroxide with water 1:2 ratio and just dumped it on the coco.
Next day i sprayed my girl with bioquant deltam.
Next day i saw there were non left, and i havent spotted any of them in the during days.
Also i had the high temp and humidity from last week i was fighting with.
I got it closer to what it should be but not perfect.
The split in the branch is still healing.
You can see that the main tops who come out of that branch are a little bit different from the rest and extra stressed.
Hope she'll be bug free for the rest of her lifetime.
See you next week, Peace 😎✌️🏾
Hi growers,
This week was different then others.
I didnt had much time, my phone broke and the internet at my home was down for a week.
But we still in here 😎
My girl by the way is doing fine.
Didnt do much to her this week except for bending a little bit here and there were possible.
Regular feeding schedule and she loves it.
My oscillating monkeyfan quit oscillating on me, so i bought me a new one from another brand, and it works great.
At the end of the week i removed the scrog netting, im going to put it back tonight in a better position.
Her buds are looking and smelling very yummi 😍
Hope i can taste her very soon.
See you growers next week, Peace 😎👍🏾
Hi there fellow growers and buddlovers.
Again another late update, but we still in here 😀.
This week i didnt had a lot of time but u already knew that by the late update.
Back to my girl, she is doing very good.
I didnt spend a lot of time with here, just fed her and took an few pics.
I did notice she got a thicker by the belly 🤣
Next week will probably be her last of regulair nute feeding as the trichomes are already bery present and little by little turning white.
See you in a bit on the next update.
Keep on growing and Peace 😎✌️🏾
Hi there fellow growers and buddlovers.
Once again another late update.
Too many work, birth and just busy days as it is.
But non the less, this week not a lot happened.
One of the things that did happen was that some leaves and buds are realy starting to turn purple due to the colder temprature shes getting.
Also i did turn change the light schedule a little bit.
I turned it to 11 hours with light and 13 hours of darkness.
I dont think i can push her much ferther than this, so midnext week probably will be the start of flushing.
See you very soon in the next update.
Keep on growing people, Peace😎✌️🏾
Whaddup fellow growers and buddlovers. 👍🏾
Another weekly update on my gelato girl in blue.
This was the last week i gave my girl her regular feeding with nutes.
After her last feeding is started flushing the nutes out of the coco.
The first time i flushed the run off water still had a high ppm. It was around 350 ppm.
Will be flushing her when the coco is only moist.
I noticed only a few leaves turned purple on me, but almost all of the upper buds have at least purple or purple hues. (Loving the colors 😍)
Also the smell is super fresh and very berry blue with a twist of gelato.
Shes still expending, so thats nice to see even though its not a lot anymore.
I hope to cut her down next week or the week after.
See you peeps very soon in the next update.
Keep on growing people, Peace😎✌️🏾
First of all i wanted to say that the blue gelato 41 of barneys farm is definatly one for the easy grower.
I had so many troubles with her, but she never let me down so the strain is very solid.
That said im happy with the outcome.
Had about 48 grams of rockhard buds.
I turned 10 grams into very delicious and potent rosin 😋
This strain was easy to grow.
I started out without an hygrometer. Due to delivery problems i had it very late and my girl noticed that becauce the envirement wasnt optimal for her.
She did survive that period, after that she got defoliated multiple times, and i got really rough with her sometimes and broke of some stems, and that was no problem for her.
I also had an encouter with thousands of thrips, which i had to nuke to remove them from my girl and she didnt even bother.
In veg she was a good to handle, in flower it was a little bit harder and i think she likes alot more PK at the end of her lifetime than i offered her. But thats more of a guess.
The smell matches more a cross between blueberry and lemon kush in my opinion.
The gelato part is not so noticable at the end of the road.(for me atleast)
But the blue in other hand is very dominant and strong by smell and taste.
I ended up with hardrock buds even the smaller ones, so im very happy with the outcome.
Because of my thrips invasion and usage of bioquant, i wanted to wash my buds for once to clean of all the dirt, dust, insect remains and other particles that shouldnt be in my bud.
I did the oh so underrated BUDWASH, and wauw if would deffinatly recommend it to every grower with just a few plants.
It really cleans your buds without effecting your potency, terps and overall buds.
I also noticed that all buds dried at the same rate cause of the evenly spead moisture i guess.
I ended up with 48.34 grams of hard and dry buds
I took about 10 grams and turned it into superdelicious rosin because i also love to dab 😍
Thank you growdiaries for this amazing platform.
I wanne give a big thumbs up to Barney's Farm for this strain, Keep up the good work.
Also a big thumbs up and thanks to all the growers and bud lover for looking @ my diary and especially if you liked it, i appreciate it very much.
It was a great journey and experience for me.
Thanks again and till next time.
And dont forget, Always Keep On Growing my friends, Peace. 😎✌️🏾
@StinkyPoodler, oh wauw good job on spotting and killing them immediately.
Thats why its importent to look at your girls daily.
Keep up the good work @StinkyPoodler,
Peace bro 👍
@BlackCousin,
Ha! It's funny you mention that, I haven't logged on in a bit but shortly after you commented I found some little aphid/flies on my week old plants as well! Luckily I caught the infestation early on and a few days of neem oil seemed to do the trick.
hello @StinkyPoodler, i think it came from the shoes or clothes from my kids who went to the park with me and wifey who ran into the room.
Luckely i noticed it immediatly, even tho there were hundreds of them.
But i was abe to kill them off so thats a tip to every grower,
Check out your plants on a daily base for things that are wrong.
Keep on growing, Peace 👍
You us way way to much supervit my friend and root complex your plant will grow slow...just say from wat i know,,1 or 2 drop per gallon with super vet,,,20ml per gallon with root complex but i think it work better with 12_15 ml as i said am just saying from wat i know
