This isn’t a serious grow, just adding this seed to the tent of autos whilst there’s still space. Will probably keep topping over and over, might make a bonsai, or use it for clones? Who knows. Either way this girl is in the back corner lower than the canopy height of the rest of the tent.
She’ll manage 😇
This grow is a six project, main grow is much more interesting if you want to check it out.
Keep removing lower growth every now and then, keeping her small. She’s pretty lanky so I’m going to repot her soon.
She only has a small spot in the corner of the tent, but she’s taking what she can.
In the tent - lemon ak auto x 2 , white widow auto x2 , Dinamex auto x2 , Pink Kush photo x1.
This poor girl must be so confused. “Why do you keep cutting me”. Well, I’m keeping you small!
Topped once, will keep going.
Pink Kush clones after my main grow? I think so 😏😏🌱
She’s enjoyed the past week! Topping went well, will do it again tomorrow mostly likely.
Not much else to say except still no nutrient issues. Still a pretty plant. Come check out the main grow for autoflowers in full bloom.
Still no issues. Looking forward to repotting her and giving her a lot of space once the autos are finished in the next few weeks. I’ll germinate some other seeds then too. Couple weeks of veg, then flip to 12/12
Will hopefully repot her in two weeks time, I keep defoliating leaves I don't want for either light penetration or aesthetics. She’s so restricted by my torture as well as not having space for her.
Despite all this she’s still going well 😁🌱
Did a little more LST and keep removing the odd fan leaf. Nutrients upped slightly. Will repot her tomorrow, remove most of the autos in the tent and replace with a couple pepper plants. In a week or so I’ll add some photoperiod seedlings.
Later! 🌱
UPDATE - removed 4/5 autos from tent for harvest, cleaned tent, repotted pink kush experiment, defoliated a little. Added a Zimbabwe Red chilli, a Pink Tiger chilli and a sweet basil clone (which is 4 individual basil plants put in a big pot, LST work bushed out the centre of the pot). One Lemon AK auto still in the tent, with the other lemon ak that turned out to be a Photoperiod.
In a week or so I’ll be adding some CBD Photoperiod seedlings from Royal Queen Seeds to the tent. There will be a new diary for them.
After 8 weeks of being in a small pot in an overcrowded tent, this pink kush experimental grow finally has dedicated tent space, a bigger pot that looks about 12L in size.
She’s sitting at about 25cm tall due to extensive LST work.
Advanced nutrients line is out and Biobizz’s organic range is in! If it seems to work well I’ll stick with it.
This beautiful flat canopy will be flipped into flower in a couple weeks time - or as soon as the CBD seedlings are just about big enough for their flip too. The lemon AK Photoperiod could turn out to be a big problem. May need supercropping.
Final week of veg, lights were flipped today.
Expecting this girl to shoot up from now onwards, she loves her new pot.
Just did some more LST, really happy with it.
Lights were flipped 7 days ago, hoping to see some pistils in the next week. I wish there was a way to speed up the beginning of flower...
No nutrient issues, seems to have taken to the swap to organic Biobizz nutes without problem. Temperature is around 26/27 degrees Celsius during the day,
I really miss the smell of a full flowering tent.
EDIT - changed back to veg cycle, the other plants in the tent are too immature to flip to flower.
The last week of veg! This poor girl has been waiting for ages to start flowering through mo fault of her own - the rest of the tent just needed time to catch up.
I keep bending her down with plenty of LST, yet more defoliation today. Can’t wait to see her begin to flower in a couple of weeks.
She’s perfect! I think she’ll have big white frosty buds before long.
Give it up to Barney’s Farm everyone! Their seeds have always impressed me. They’ve just sent me some unreleased strains, which I’ll likely be popping after this beauty 🌱❤️
She stretched a little more this week, but I think she’s done height wise. She was so ready to flower, was ahead of the younger girls in the tent.
She smells lovely! Got a whiff of ganja when I opened the tent - delightful!
3ml/L of Biobizz grow and bloom. Doesn’t seem to bother anyone in the tent.
🌱
This girl stinks! Took her out of the tent, into the bathroom for some better lighting. Bare in mind these buds are still pretty small. Daaaaayum this kush is going to be nice!
Every few days I’m taking off some leaves. Either undergrowth not getting light or outer leaves pressed against the side of the tent for so long they discolour and look nasty.
All going well! 🌱
The new carbon filter is struggling to keep up with demands. Smelly tent 😭
I don't care, but the family complain if the door to the tent is open.
Some yellowing of edge most leaves. Not worried, I think it's just older leaves dying. Not a nutrient problem.
Buds are very slowly getting bigger.
Slowly fattening up. Decided to give her the centre of the tent as she's without a doubt going to be my best plant. Thought I should prioritise her. Buds are looking really purple now, and with the extremely trichome rich flowers I'm thinking the lower temperatures aren't all bad 😏😉
I LOVE Barney's farm seeds. Their photoperiods are fantastic. I'd love them to bring out some classic Dutch strains in their auto catelog, like amnesia etc.
This will likely be her last diary upload. She's been an absolute delight to grow. Took really well to being kept small and heavily abused through various grow techniques including stress training and very heavy defoliation.
No nutrient issues. No issues at all. Stayed tuned 💕👍
I've loved every bit of seeing this beautiful strain develop. Once her flowers set in a goregous pink colour came through in the buds. That colour has been lost a little after drying, but she is still easy to distinguish between the other plants.
I think the reason for my yield was because there were too many budsites. But I don't care, they were covered in trichomes and produced some of the highest quality buds I've grown in my first year as a grower.
I'd recommend this strain to anyone, beginner or experienced. Barney's Farm continue to impress me with their seeds. Next however, is autos. And for that journey, Fastbuds Original line is getting a go.
