Where do I begin? First off, I would like to thank everyone here who has helped me along the way with questions or just words of wisdom and encouragement. You all are the MVPs in my book. Now to the grow. From start to finish this plant had no major or even minor issues. There was some nutrient burn but nothing crazy. She was a real squatter. Never grew very tall. Her aroma was beyond belief. Imagine the freshest box of fruity pebbles with a tart (almost sour) smell.

Overall I really enjoyed this plant and will be growing it again in the near future. I did not expect much for my first grow but did expect more than what I yielded. No worries though, practice makes perfect. I am enjoying the satisfaction of seeing a jar filled with some home grown herb. My goal was 2oz. Was 3/4 of an oz away. Very happy with the knowledge I have learned and will be applying it for future grows. Bigger yields to come!

Grow Questions

Good evening, I am wondering if my plants main stem is looking a little thin? It's only on day 10 of life. Just not proportionate to her top. Not worrying too much because she's been growing non-stop the last couple days. I also have not started any nutrients. Diary up to date.

Your plant(s) seem to be doing fine , the stem takes a bit of time to thicken up at first and get strong , I might suggest using a silica product this will aid in boosting the stems strength . For the time being your doing well with some LST over time the stalks will fatten up naturally or like I said you can get some silica and add it to your nutrient water mix up . You could also increase the amount of wind your plant faces for addition stem training this will also fatten them up and make them sturdier . If your going to use a silica product I would consider rhino skin from Advanced nutrients . Really cost effective and its a really great product that you can use from the start to finish . I will say though that your going to need an extra hour or so of mixing time when you make your nutrient batch for your plants , I say this because silica takes time to fully dissolve in water so that your plant(s) can absorb it . I hope this information is helpful to you on your quest for glory ! Happy Growing!

My plant has started getting some leaf twisting at the new growth sites. I have not checked the Ph of the water I have been using which is from the tap. I know this could be affecting it. What might be causing this? I will getting a Ph meter tomorrow and will update.

Your new twisted leaves are not an excess/ def issue neither a disease, I guess it is just the leaves that are trying to be on the best position to take all the light so as you have practiced LST the leaves are trying to take the best position. Your issue is not PH related and you'd better know that cannabis can grow in soil with a ph range between 6 to 7 without any harm done to your plant, moreover the soil have a self buffering propriety so the ph is tending to "auto stabilised". You can check the ph and composition of your tap water on your local company website to know at least that value

@@Mr_Mary_Jane, 15 weeks??? I cant see mine going over 10 weeks. Curious why yours is growing so much longer than mine.

@Munch, she is really starting to fatten up. I think 2 more weeks with nutrients then a week without. Tricomes are still clear with 50% cloudy. I want to chop at 25% amber the rest clear and milky. So 15 weeks total? Guess we'll find out for sure.

Nice Canopy, Man :) Totally agree with ValhallasGarden, looks like Topping and LST made a big deal! How much light in the tent there and what's the scale of it?
