Plants were all looking healthy. The sativa strain is growing tall. Clearly the plant in the biggest pot (10L) is doing the best.

Still looking healthy and the G13 Haze in the 10L pot is doing the best. Feeding is ad-hoc. No real schedule setup or being used and not monitoring pH. Using tap water that has sat still for a day.

Week starting 09/08/2019. After a few very hot days all the G13 Haze plants started showing heat stress and yellowing of the big fan leaves. The plant in the biggest pot (#1) showed the least of the symptoms. Started looking into pH of my tap water. Discovered it's at 8.3 - 8.5.

Week starting 06/09/2019. All the G13 Haze plants are still in trouble with the one in the smallest pot having lost a lot of its leaves and continues daily. The White Widow does not show any major issues. A few pale leaves but would seem normal at this stage of flowering. Feeding every second watering with pH at 5.8 to continue lowering the soil pH (if that is possible) - run off measured at 6.2. Currently the soil pH is just under 7 using a soil pH meter - it has taken 3 weeks of using water under pH 6 to bring it down from 8 to 7. Notes #1 - 14/09 - plain water pH5.8 #2 - 15/09 - 20ml/5L pH5.5 #3 - 14/09 - plain water #4 - 15/09 - 20ml/5L #1,#2,#3,#4 - 20ml/5L of Vega to address the Nitrogen deficiency issue. pH 6.2. Runoff measured at 6.2 with digital pH meter. Soil meter measurements (before and after this feed) are shown in pictures. 19/09 - #1, #3 - 20ml/5L Flores at ph6.3. Runoff measured at pH6.1 - Soil meter measurements (after this feed) are shown in pictures on 19/09

Need help diagnosing leaf loss issues with the G13 Haze strain (problem has been over 5 weeks now). The one in the smallest pot (7L) has lost a majority of its leaves. The leaves start yellowing and turning brown then crispy. They have white speckles on them like salt.

From what I can see on the picture you have a nitrogen deficiency , so the plant is getting paler and the lower leaves are yellowing and falling , the cana terra flora does not providing enough N or the pot is so small that the plant is eating faster than you are feeding. I both case the nutrients are involved. You ph is 7 which is the highest value of the optimal range so if you can get down to 6.5 it is even better

Week starts on 20/09. Trimmed some branches and foliage from #3 and #2. 21/09 - #2, #3 - 20ml/5L Flores at ph6.1. Runoff measured at pH5.9 - Soil meter measurements (after this feed) are shown in pictures on 21/09. I think the soil pH is finally coming down to expected range. Leaf loss is still occurring albeit slower it seems. 22/09 - #1, #3, #4 - 20ml/5L Flores at ph6.2. Runoff measured at pH6.1 - Soil meter measurements (after this feed) are shown in pictures on 22/09. 23/09 - Moved the plants indoors under a Mars Hydro SP-250 led light. 24/09 - #1 (3L), #2 (2L) - plain water at pH 6.3. After watering today, I discovered a large number of tiny white crawlies along the #1 pot (see photo). 25/09 - #3, #4 - 15ml/5L Flores at ph6.2. Found bugs on all the yellowing leaves - tiny clear/brown.

Week started 27/09 Still losing lots of leaves per day (due to yellowing). #3 doesn't have anymore fan leaves and some bud leaves are looking droopy. I'm hoping they will make it through to harvest without the need to spray Neem. Getting some Nematodes this week to put into the soil in case it turns out I have root aphids. The indoor setup was complete this week and the plants are now growing indoors full time. Still having problems maintaining heat in the tent without the humidity rising very high. I'm stopping the extraction fan at various intervals to raise the temp of the room but the humidity levels shoot towards 90% with the lights on. #1 30/09 - 25ml/5L Flores at pH6.3. 03/10 - 25ml/5L Flores and PK 13/14 at pH6.5 #2 28/09 - 25ml/5L Flores at pH6.1. Runoff measured at pH5.9, EC 1.11ms 03/10 - 25ml/5L Flores and PK 13/14 at pH6.5 - developing some nice colas. #3 30/09 - 25ml/5L Flores at pH6.3. 03/10 - 25ml/5L Flores and PK 13/14 at pH6.5 - whilst it has lost a majority of its leaves, there is a nice cola forming at the top. #4 30/09 - 25ml/5L Flores at pH6.3. 03/10 - 25ml/5L Flores and PK 13/14 at pH6.5 The White Widow looks like will be ready in a couple of weeks. That was the last feed.

In week 12 of the diary I show the continued issue with yellowing and loss of leaves. One G13 plant has nearly lost all its leaves. I think I have a pest issue, see week 11 diary picture of the pot with lots of white tiny things crawling. Could this be root aphids?

I believe it's lack of nitrogen. 1.1 EC of run off in soil is incredibly low, heck it's low even for coco; when using soil I get deficiency symptoms when my run off is much higher than that. Have you tried some N heavy nutes? Try some growth nutes and tell us how it goes.

Week starting 4/10/2019 Spotted a few aphids today on some of the yellowing leaves - confirmed with the magnifying glass. Humidity continues to be an issue as I cannot seem to lower it below 60% at best, averaging 65%. The extraction currently is pulling the air from the tent into the room - will need to look into taking it outside of the house before looking at dehumidifiers. White powdery mildew is more prevalent on some of the tops. Manually wiping them off with a wet cloth each day. 05/10 - Applied nematodes today to all 4 pots (https://www.biogroei.fr/stenema). Had to apply it with water at pH6.5 08/10 - Watered all 4 plants to keep the soil moist for the nematodes. #1 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 - still seems stunted during flowering and behind the others of same strain by a week or two. #2 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 (pot was not dry yet, should have waited another day or two with feeding) - colas are still developing nicely whilst continuing with the leaf loss. - defoliated and cut all small branches with flowers at the bottom. #3 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 (pot was not dry yet, should have waited another day or two with feeding) - a few curled/twisted leaves. Continues to need the most frequent watering - most probably due to the limited 7L pot. #4 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg - is not drinking a lot of water compared to the other 3 G13 Haze strains. - getting close to harvest time, still not showing big signs of nutrient deficiencies or other issues. Some purple leaves at the very top of the main cola.

Week starting 11/10/2019 Humidity continues to be an issue at nights with max reaching 84%. Installed a small dehumidifier to help lower RH. This has helped considerably maintaining highs below 75% at nights. Collecting about 200ml of water per day. Ideally, the unit should have been much bigger to handle the 4 plants. White powdery mildew is more prevalent on some of the tops. Manually wiping them off with a wet cloth each day. Leaf loss still an ongoing issue. 13/10 - flushed the WW #4 with plain water pH6.1 17/10 - harvested WW #4.

It was a good harvest. Developed some great buds along its branches and looks quite unique hence its White Widow name. Very strong smell, not my favourite as it's too skunky and I prefer the citrus scents. Took a few hours to wet trim and after curing for a few weeks it's a great strain to light up.

Emergency harvest of the G13 Haze plants due to powdery mildew setting in. There was at least 2-3 weeks to go in these plants but better to get something now than lose the entire lot - the mildew was spreading faster than I could control it. Luckily the last watering a few days before had no nutrients, just plain water.
