FastBuds Blue Dreamatic is a sativa dominant autoflowering hybrid. The breeder's estimated life cycle is 65-80 days from germination. The setup for this grow will be:
Tent size - 3'x3'x6'
Lights - 2 x Viparspectra PAR450 (200W actual ea)
6 in 440 CFM fan
3 gallon fabric pot
Pro-Mix HP + 20% extra perlite for aeration and drainage
GH Flora Series nutrients with GH Supplements,Terpinator
All measurements are recorded in ml/gal.
8/17 - Seeds were placed in moistened Root Riot cubes.
8/20 - Sprouts above ground. Moved the seedlings to their final home.
8/21 - Day 1, just a little water.
8/24 - Day 4, fed both girls with a 50% strength mix of GH Flora Trio in 1 gal of R.O. water according to seedling week on GH feedchart + 2.5 ml/gal of Diamond Nectar. Final ppm was 99 and pH was set to 6.1.
8/28 - Day 8, fed both with full strength seedling mix according to GH feedchart, and pH naturally was 5.9 without adjustment. They are a little slow to start, so hopefully this will give them a little boost.
8/31 - Day 11, gave both water + Hydroguard with pH set to 5.9.
9/3 - Day 14, gave them both a feed with with base nutes at 50% strength according to early veg on GH DTW Feedchart and pH naturally was 5.9 in my tap.
9/5 - Day 16, gave both water + Hydroguard with pH set to 5.9. Lights are now on 100% on all dimmers, and extraction fan is on lowest setting.
9/8 - Day 19, fed them both with late veg nutes according to GH DTW feedchart. I also switched them to Aptus's silica supplement.
9/9 - Day 20, topped them both at the 4th node and stripped away the 1st node to prepare them for training.
9/11 - Day 22, both girls are doing good and growing since their last feeding, which was the first to runoff. They are both showing pistils, so the stretch should be coming shortly. LST will begin once secondaries extend out far enough.
9/13 - Day 24, gave both ladies water + Fasilitor and Hydroguard with pH set to 5.8.
9/18 - Day 29, performed some LST on the ladies this morning to help them bush out a little more, and keep the height in check. They are stretching now, and the secondaries are growing quickly.
9/19 - Day 30, dropped the lights to 26 in today. Both plants were given water + Fasilitor, Calmag, Roots Excelurator, and Hydroguard with pH set to 5.8.
9/20 - Day 31, adjusted LST points as needed to maintain a low canopy.
9/24 - Day 35, both ladies are now starting flower, and #2 is due for a feed today. She was fed according to early bloom on GH DTW feedchart with base nutes at full strength, and pH set to 5.8. Final runoff was 964 ppm and pH was 5.8. I did a major defoliation during feeding.
9/25 - Day 36, fed #1 today according to early bloom on GH DTW feedchart with base nutes at full strength, and pH set to 5.8. Final runoff was 947 ppm and pH was 5.8.
9/26 - Day 37, fed #2 today according to early bloom on GH DTW feedchart with base nutes at full strength, and pH set to 5.8. Final runoff was 968 ppm and pH was 5.8. Trichomes are now forming on both ladies and #2 is puffball city with baby buds.
10/2 - Day 43, plugged up the dehumidifier to drop RH to mid 50's until later in flower. Both girls are looking good and are starting to develop a citrusy smell.
10/3 - Day 44, gave both girls water + Hydroguard with pH set to 5.9. Final runoff was 720 ppm and pH was 5.9.
10/6 - Day 47, gave both ladies a feed following mid bloom week on GH DTW feedchart and pH adjusted to 5.8. Final runoff was 932-951 ppm and pH was 5.9. Both are filling in now and starting to put on some frosty trichomes.
10/9 - Day 50, both ladies are building up and frosting nicely, but starting to show a little Calcium deficiency, probably due to the steady feedings at 5.8 pH. I will bump her next few feeds up to around the 6.2 mark to try and help her get back on track. Both girls were given water + Calimagic & Hydroguard with pH set to 6.2. Final runoff for both ladies was 731-766 ppm.
10/12 - Day 53, fed both ladies with mid bloom according to GH DTW feedchart with pH set to 6.2.
10/15 - Day 56, gave both girls water + Calmag & Hydroguard with pH set to 6.2. #2 is definitely the yielder of the 2 and #1 is quite a bit greasier and frostier.
10/18 - Day 59, gave both girls a feed from late bloom of GH DTW feedchart with pH set to 5.8. Final runoff for both girls was between 1003-1021 ppm and pH was 6. They have flown through flower very quickly and pistils are already starting to tun red, and trichomes are getting milky. They will be likely heading for flush after next watering. The smell on #1 is a dank berry grapefuity smell, and #2 is leaning more towards a citrusy, piney aroma.
10/21 - Day 62, started flush on both ladies by giving each 2 gal of water + FloraKleen.
10/24 - Day 65, gave both ladies another 2 gal ea of water + FloraKleen with pH adjusted to 6. Final runoff was 318-342 ppm. More and more purple is creeping in during the fade with the cool night temps in the tent getting to 64F and daytime temps peaking at 75F. RH has been ranging between 41-49%.
10/27 - Day 68, gave both ladies a flush with 12-15 gallons ea of water achieving final runoff of 111-119 for both. They will be ready to chop early next week.
10/30 - Day 71, both ladies were harvested today. #1 gave a dazzling fade of purples, oranges, reds, and yellows with a tremendous coating of sugary sticky trichomes. #2 wasnt quite as frosty or sticky, but was still no slouch, and gave up a nice bouquet of fat, sticky buds with some color around the edges and nice faded fans. Harvest report will be up in 5-8 days.
Overall I'm happy and would definitely grow this again, but next time under better lights. The high is a wonderful, relaxing buzz, with some chatty beginnings, and a blissful relaxing finish.
