The unique smell of these Northern Express buds is just one of the many reasons why I choose to grow Fast Buds strains. You can't really get addicted to cannabis, but the aroma of Fast Buds Nothern Express could make one want to live in a curing jar forever. The smoke is fresh and the vanilla taste is on point. I do like to mix this bud with some Pineapple Express in order to get that perfect feeling of stoner bliss.
This plant was crazy because of the node structure. If you review the earlier weeks of this Grow Diary on Fast Buds Northern Express, you'll notice that it branches off as 3 colas, and takes an almost mutant shape. Even though the structure was different than any other plant I've grown better, this particular Northern Express plant was still able to be Low Stress Trained. I would say that it was probably one of the better strains that I've had the pleasure to work on, and the harvest result was around average for the amount of light I was able to cast on the canopy. The buds are very dense and have a lot of weight to their sizes. I expected a bit more of coloration to the fan leaves near the end of the flowering, but it's not something I can always rely on. I would recommend you pick up a 5 pack of FastBuds Northern Express and get to growing!
Nice grow !
Dont overfill jars, leave like 3rd empty, they need space and air for curing ;)
Will try one day northern variation just to understand the real smell of it, too many legends ;)))
@AsNoriu, thanks for the input. I would agree with you too. I just filled that one jar full for the photo documentation. The yield from the harvest actually filled 3 jars at around 3/4 full.
