First time growing and already feel like I have made some mistake. In 12 L rizo pots and Tropic Mix (40% Coco/Coir, 60% Peat) so don’t know if it’s just to much for (A) or Lenny as I have named as (B,C,D) look like there okay. I kinda flushed the soil first and left it in my tent for a 24 hours to soak up and adjust to the temps. Straight to soil with cling film over top for humidity. All broke in 24/36 hours. Have not waters for a good week and a half and still am doing less is more at the moment. First water today of only 500ml each as some soil is damp in the corner of each pot (when putting finger in soil) A- So she is looking a bit off from the two and that’s saying a bit as the other (B) is a twin. B-Twin that’s growing slow, potted the same day as A. C-Happy with this one so far. A bit of stretching and slightly leaning to one side. Using something to prop it up a little. (It can stand on its own, just sometimes has some leaning) D-Planted a little later by a week but kicking of well hoping to look like C soon. Setup bay 6 tent (75x75x130) Carbon filter Inline fan 4 inch Kingbo M300 (300W LED) Using Veg switch until Flowering.

Thankful and Blessed with the support. So everything to me is going alright so far actually pretty happy with everything. If anyone can see some early signs of something wrong the help would be appreciated. Started my lst on C today then will do the same to the other when the main stalks are a bit thicker. Roll on the next week!

Should I use both veg and bloom switch for autoflowers or keep with the light spectrum of blue for veg and red for flower? Thanks

Plants look really nice and happy. For veg your blue spectrum and bloom red spectrum. I'm keeping it simple actually your veg lights have a heavier percentage of blue than red it actually uses both/multiple spectrum's. Using more blue spectrum helps control the inter-node spacing on the plant stems keeping your plant a bit more compact. When your auto start to show a few pistils I would keep using veg nutrients and your veg/blue light until she does a bit of stretching. When shes half way through her stretch switch to your bloom/red lights and start using your bloom nutrients. She will be showing little tufts of white pistils by this time. In bloom it switches to a heavier percentage of red than blue. Red spectrum helps bud growth. If you switch to using your bloom/red lights too soon the red spectrum will cause your plant to stretch more. If that's what your looking for that's fine. Most auto growers like to create a nice somewhat even canopy by using LST type training to keep the light intensity as even as possible when she's growing her buds. Hope this helps.👍

*Update (New photos of C can’t change my question on my phone for some reason or until six days pass but any ideas just a rough idea. What’s doing this to my girl. Thanks) So have been a little busy and two days late to my diary but things are bit off. A,B and C have all got me worried. Have been looking for spider mites and under leafs to see if they are hiding can’t see much.. also did my nutrients to coco.. the soil recipe is the same but ditching the 6ml of calmag in a 13.5 litres/3 Gallon (only noticed till after feeding) Did water them with nothing but ph water and 5ml of silicon 3/4 after. (13.5 litres) hope it will sort the problem out by week 5 so I can start giving nutrition to my gals again. Any help would be appreciated. Lst is going well first few days I was choking some fan leafs so have got some leaf damage in places. Hoping it’s that and not bugs:) all bless other than that. Also thinking of using the last image as a dry room connected to my grow box as there all to finish at different times. My fan should be strong enough. Peace

Thanks for all the help with my Led problem, bless to the people that helped. So B has shot right up as an underdog. Was a twin and I chucked the other (maybe should of kept it) Have fed C some nutrients again now and have got some cana cure coming in the post. If you have any ideas of what’s going on then I would be grateful. A has still not really done anything for a while but in the last few days has got into the rhythm of things. D is going well also with signs of it looking like it might turn into B’s LST structure a bit. A-5.5inch/B-7.5inch/C-7.5inch/D-7inch Tent might be a bit small if they keep up, (130 cm) so fingers crossed. Can have the gals around 60/70cm Just gotta add the 18 inch of height for the led too. Kinda pushing it:/ Thanks for the help and feel free to drop out anything I am doing wrong. Peace.

Just snapped the main cola branch straight of B today so angry with myself. Don’t know if I should keep it taped up or see if it might top itself now. Clean snap off not even dangling by a thread. Don’t pick fabric pot up from the top when doing lst argh! A is still a little stubby compared to the rest but we all like a underdog so who knows. C’s new fan leafs are back to there original colour and has also started showing sights of flowering with A,B. D is still a week behind the rest and still flowers later, hoping she gets along with the temps and humidity. Tents getting full but still have a lot of height so happy over all. If you have any suggestions about my snapped stem please let me know. Have been using the GHE 3 part M/G/B 2/4 week- M- 2.5ml/gallon G-2.5ml/gallon B- 1ml/gallon 5/6 week- M-2ml/gallon G-1ml/gallon B-2ml/gallon Was using silicon at 5ml every 3 gallon unit they started flowering this week. Have read about using it when in flower and does not seem like a good idea. Smoke easy peace! Let me know what’s going wrong in my garden, Bless

Hi @Ray28! I would give it a chance to recover. If you have some aloe vera (in gel) this can help to heal the wound. Put some aloe vera around the wound and use some electric tape to fix the stem. A support (strings, bamboo stick) will also increase recovery chances. If after a few days the broken stem doesn't seem to grow again, then consider removing it, you don't want your plant to drive all its energy into that cola. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information, and happy growing! 👊

So altogether this week has been going really well all the gals are loving life at the moment it seems. Hoping to get some nice bud sites later on in the weeks. A has grown a bit but still a stubby gal. Let’s hope some nice dense colas on her! B is doing good even after last weeks break, nothing has healed yet on her stem but she has shot up a load with C and D. All looking lovely! C is looking good with no change in colour. D from what I can see is in flower now and hopefully will be cropped a week after the other girls. Height. A- 28cm /B- 43cm /C- 39cm /D- 41cm Week 7/8 3 Part GHE. Micro- 6ml per /3 Gallon /14 liters Gro- 1.5ml per /3 Gallon /14 liters Bloom- 6ml per /3 Gallon/ 14 liters My main issue now is humidity, it has been very rainy over here so have had to constantly be checking on the tent. Temps are lovely, the humidity is just a pain sometimes reaching at 60% worst case. Have got it to normal level of 45/50% just struggle to control when it’s raining. Have got the electric dehumidifier going and also some hanging closet dehumidifiers. Chucked a bag of silicon also for good measure. Thanks to everyone last week the support and love from the community is bless. Can’t thank you all individually but if your catching up on how I’m doing then stay blessed. Smoke easy! Hoping next week will see some bud development! Should you worry about the humidity of your tent just after watering your plants? Thanks

What a week so all the gals have really started to get in the swing of things, looking very nice for a first try was doubting myself throughout the grow but looking like light at the end of the tunnel. Humidity is not really a problem now, so nice not to stress about mildew and bud rot now and for the future weeks. A is still a little behind but creeping up with the others. Surprised to see D pass C since she was a week later and has a longer veg time. Smelling nice and sweet in tent and a bit piney. Might have to upgrade and get a taller tent but other than that all is good! Height. A- 48cm/B- 65cm/C- 66cm/D- 70cm Week 7/8 3 Part GHE. Micro- 6ml per /3 Gallon /14 liters Gro- 1.5ml per /3 Gallon /14 liters Bloom- 6ml per /3 Gallon/ 14 liters B,C,D all wanted feeding a lot more often now. Hoping A will be the same by the end of this week. Thanks to the community, stay blessed and smoke easy, good luck in your grow.

So we are rolling into this week now and things are starting to pick up again. Had a moment of overthinking and impatience last week but with a few wise words the heads cleared. A has almost reached the same height as the rest of the gals. Have had to get a new tent this week and only put them in there on the 20th. Was a very stressful process setting it up in such a small space. Upgrade from a 75cmX75cmX130cm/ to a 100cmX100cmX180cm. Really gives the space for them all to breath, you can tell from looking at the gals that they where pressed against the old tent. Feed for week 9/10. 3 Gallon/14 Liters Micro-6ml/Gro-0 ml/Bloom-12ml Height (cm)/ A-64cm/ B-76cm/ C-80cm/ D-78cm Can’t saying anything bad is going on in my eyes for A,B,C and D. If you see anything that I can’t let me know happy smoking and easy growing. Thanks for the support.

Everything is going to plan with no problems that have derailed me from the end goal. A has really not grown that much, still am happy with it getting some little buds developing. Especially as is the “quick one” more my fault than anything. B is looking strong even from being a twin seedling and the accidental chop I gave her. C is still a bit behind but hoping week ten will get the gal to shine. I think RQS White Widow is hand down the best seed I started out with of the four. Even when it says it has a longer veg/flower time she started early and is going to be ready before B. Smelling lovely when I took her out the tent. Not long left for her. Roll on next week and let’s see what happens! Feed for week 9/10 (3 Gallon/14 Liters) Micro-6ml/Gro-0 ml/Bloom-12ml Height (cm)/ A-70cm/ B-79cm/ C-91cm/ D-81cm (Measured from soil to top of main cola, apart from B she is average height over all) Thanks for taking the time to check out this diary, feel free to let me know if you see anything wrong in the garden. Stay blessed and smoke easy.

So it day one of week eleven, things are going well and catching on quick. Main worry is about how much I will be yielding from the gals individual. D is looking very nice but only really top buds are developing. A- Budding and staying the same height now. Got a very bushy gal and don’t even know where to start trimming some of the leafs. Will just stick with how she is I think for a few more days and then see. B- Not that far behind D but also has bud development most of the way down. Not looking as juicy as D buds but they are short at the moment. C- Hoping its a waiting game with this one. Really surprised it has not done much this week at all apart from keep growing! Still in the stretching phase or has just stopped. Let’s hope we see something next week! D- Thinking of flushing her when she needs feeding in the next few days not to sure but a little help would be bless. Have not got really any bud forming around the middle or bottom of the stems but is probably down to light wattage and the canopy. Let hope she I can get her cut down for week twelve. Feed for week 9/10 (3 Gallon/14 Liters) Micro-6ml/Gro-0 ml/Bloom-12ml Height (cm)/ A-72cm/B-79cm/C-101cm/D-82cm (Measured from soil to top of main cola, apart from B she is average height over all) Thanks for checking in on the garden, let me know what you think. Running a little late uploading this week to the diary but the photos are two days old. Have finally cut down the White widow and am fairly happy to get 150g wet wait. Anything over 50g dry well be a success in my eyes! Have got extra photos but will add it to the harvest once the drying stage is over. Keeping the the two quick ones for now and have flushed them on the Friday. After a chat with the misses we decided to cut down C. I was really looking forward to the Cheese strain (nostalgia feelings) but she has really taking a while to even try and flower. We could then dry in the tent when we give A,B the chop, will do the two at the same time. Have flushed A,B so no need to upload any nutrient feed for this week and next. Thanks for checking the diary out any advice would be blessed. Happy growing and easy smoking.

It’s been a good little run and I am at the end of my first ever grow, happy with the outcome of things. Hoping to get a nice yield off the two girls. Have not done a wet weight of them but it’s now just the drying time then will see what I got. Will add the harvest week for the them soon as they have been drying for a two days now hoping to get it in just before newbie of the month ends.. you never know! RQS Seedbank are very professional and can’t wait to be a valued customer haha. Already know I will be doing two White Widow autos again next out of the four. Any suggestions for the other two? Easy smoking and happy growing! Any tips for next time would be appreciated, will be giving coco a try I think!

For my first ever crop I am pleased with the results, just shy of 2 oz. Did not struggle with the gal at all. Had a moment with the hole grow with my lst should of kept my head down and got on with it. There always the next grow! Have not cured it for long but the high is more physical over anything. Really good for after work and a way to relax if you do a lot of physical labour. Will see what the curing will be like at the end of the month. Hopefully will have some left before the other girls are done. Happy smoking and stay blessed! The photos are from today so me and the misses have been smoking from the jar for the past week.

A good strain for a first grow that’s pretty easy to look after. Did not have any issues and I even snapped the main cola of one of them and the other was a twin I separated from another seed. Have got a good amount of 59g still need to do the trimming. Have only done 3g and got a lot more to do! The smoke is again more physical than mental which is just what I look wanted. Happy to have it for after work and does not make me want to hit the hay by the evening. Although the taste is a bit to earthy for me but hoping burping the jars this month might help out even with the Boveda packs in. (Hopefully brings out the citrus taste more) Have been smocking from the jars to try and save the white widow this week. Happy smoking and easy growing!

@Ray28 . use both switches when blooming. or you will only use half your power of your light. more light = more yield. (in theory) Let your fan hit your girl direct and blow her around. you will get stronger stems. We don't want a push over 😄 it will stress your plant a bit to. witch is good. low stressing is safe on auto's ;) just take a look at outdoor plants. how hard the wind pushes them around. best of all you get a fan that moves so the airflow is not concentrated all the time on 1 place What nutes are you giving? those leaves are not a bug problem. Very nice first grow :) 👏👊

@Ray28, indoor plants in soil will still require some added cal/mag ;)
Ray28
Ray28commented5 years ago
@@Aiiogrow, Just got up the list of nutes on week six I am giving to the gals. At my very first feed I added 5ml of calmag only to notice that was something I should not do with soil. Have been doing a cycle between nutes and water making sure not to over do it. Stay blessed

Nice your making good progress. Usually the first few weeks of bloom growers will say to themselves or question if their making good progress in bud developemet. In a few weeks you'll look back and realize it's really just a matter of time and patience. It's essentially a mid grow crisis in growers heads.

Hope your plant rebounded from the accidental topping! My quick one out grew my tent last week so I had to supercrop the top because it was touching the lights. I'm at 6 weeks and still no flowers, some pistils though. Happy growing and high yields!

You are in flower so whilst technically you can clone an autoflower, you would have to send it back into veg and get prepared for a weird looking plant. I would go for a repair although it is very late in the day. If you are taping a broken branch or main stem use grafting tape if possible. Allows the plant to still breathe whilst it is repairing and increases the chances of a solid repair. You can also use small wooden splints either side of the break for additional rigidity. Massively hardy plants and if you think about it ,we bend them, twist them, snap them, cut bits off here there and everywhere and they still bounce back within days.

I did the same thing about a week or 10 days ago. I taped mine up and it healed pretty well. Check out my pictures, it basically just made the stalk thicker on the bottom. In the pictures you can see where the stalk was broken and is hollow. It made the two side stems grow up quicker and now they are all about the same size.

The leaves have already dried up, it won't reattach the cola. As you said, not even hanging by a thread. It will act as a TOPing and produce side shots. We all have done it when learning to LST. Good luck mate

Hey man. From my own experience the leaves growing like that is due to the plant being constantly blown by wind, I grew mine outdoors and noticed after we had windy days that it was growing similarly. If your fan has speed settings try a lower speed or point the fan so it circulates air but isn't aimed directly at the plants. Hope that helps. Other than that they're looking great Good luck ✊🌱

Clutchcommentedweek 26 years ago
Everything looks fine friend. Maybe should have started in a smaller pot and transplant her after a few weeks but that's nothing serious. Cling film for humidity is a good trick cause they like to be in 60%/70% humidity enviroment now. Give a little bit of Root stimulator for a good start 🙂 Ur temperature seems fine to me, Keep ur lights close enough to avoid stretch. Don't overwater to avoid droopy leaves. U can do a lot now in pre-veg. Other users will probably be better for getting good tips than me. Happy growing 😉
the end.
