As week 4 come to a wrap, things are really shaping up. J has been doing fairly well with the exception of the weird veg growth, bud growth has been doing pretty well. I saw someone on here or a forum do a "half-crop" deal where they didnt fully super crop and I gave that a whirl just about the 3rd node. Healed up very well and as far as I can tell, it doubled the amount of trichomes on the plant. J smells like straight up fresh blueberries, I really hope it retains the smell and that it translates into the taste as well.
T2... where do I begin lol it's been doing some weird things. It started flowering on day 21, a full week behind J. Overall growth has been decent, just a little slower than J. Has a much lighter color and is producing pinkish hairs. Both plants have strong purple buds with the coloration creeping onto the leaves. T2 decided to herm a branch out though around day 23. We snipped the entire branch off and are hoping for the best.
We'll be running AN iguana juice bloom and will pick up additives as we go. The iguana juice should be at the house waiting for us today.
Edit 10/11: the iguana juice arrived and J recieved 1ml/l of the iguana and roughly 1cc/ml of the great white. I also used some vinegar to bring the pH down to 6.6. We'll see how she does!
The lower main leaves are losing color quickly and have small spots forming. It came out funky from the get go, but this also happened to the first true set and I just pruned em. Now, its moved onto this set. Last picture is the problem leaf.
Yellowing leaves from bottom up can indicate a nitrogen deficiency. Looks like you are feeding a root stimulator and then bloom nutes. I’m not sure it will have high nitrogen content. But I would always test the soil ph before deciding how to progress. Bad ph can look Like different nutes deficiencies, because it locks out different nutrients, depending on the ph level you are at. I found that over using a root stimulator’s beyond the first few weeks set me up with high ph last grow.
@Ferenc, we've had a box fan in there since we started, after doing a little more research, it seems best to no run them with all of the bulbs. The idea is to move the lights with the plant as needed. I think next time around, I'm gunna spring for some COB leds since we'll be doing small autos for awhile. We can legally have 72 plants at the house so we plan to ramp things up eventually, but for now, we're keeping it small lol
@Ferenc, thanks bud! Looks like we're gunna be starting a battle with heat now that we've got the trons up and running. Check the rooms this morning and it was in the high 80's 😟
Hi. I had similar issue with leaves. Yellow spots, then later turn brown and the leave fall down. Maybe they need calcium and magnesium. I get a improve from my last grow giving calmag supplement from week 4.
Good luck.
@fullauto, that's what I was thinking so I picked up some calmag yesterday. Just waiting for the pots to dry out a bit and then I'm gunn hit em with calmag
