Under-watering? I water all my plants equally and one seems to be growing steadily and two have stopped. How often should I be watering in smart pots and how much water should I be using each time? Also is there anyway to save my two heat damaged plants or should I scrap them?

Hi @GanjaGoddess! Roots need to be on a wet/dry cycle to properly develop and spread for water. Too much water make the roots/plant suffocate. Not enough water will make roots dry and die. Regarding waterings, the rule is to never exceed 20% of you pot's capacity: growing in 3gal bags, you should give at max ~0.7gal. Before you water, make sure the medium is almost fully dry, by putting your thumb into the soil, you will then be able to judge if it needs to be watered or not. Now about the burnt leaves, I would not remove them now, they're not fully dead and can still help to handle photosynthesis. Remove them later when you have other big leaves to do this job. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information, and happy growing! 👊

In the beginning you can go longer in between watering, i think when i started mine i only watered it once in its first week. Try not to get any water on the leaves when you water it.
