9/27 - start day 43 - So, the other day, I tried running the thing sealed at 1100-1500 ppm and temps got to 95 with RH at 75% and the walls were straight sweating nuts....dripping...puddles.... that tiny dehumidifier wasn't doing jack. Since, I have managed to tap into the central ac with some makeshift ducting, which now supplies my spot with a nice cool, dry breeze every so often. With this, I have managed to maintain a temp of 88-91 with a RH of 37-50% at 750-950 ppm. I can keep the 750-950 ppm with a flow rate of about 1 cfh, which only goes off roughly 10 minutes every hour. probably will try it and run the temps a little high. ya, can't seem to stay consistent. i swear, it'll stay at that ppm after it all leaks out and the surrounding room is sitting at the same ppm maybe, lol … should probably drop temps and the co2, but hey, might as well gas em out while its there …. hey, maybe they'll return the favor and gas me out after harvest😁 that little square light looks like it should be lighting a lizards cage or some shit …. I swear the thing probably only pulls 30 watts, if im lucky. It didn't come with a book or directions or any type of specifications.... said 3000 watts,....id give it 30. If that's the case, im banking on the other 2 lights to cover that little red spot. Oh, and those little side lighting things suck. the stupid remote/timer thing is ….. garbage timer thing 9/28 - 44 - I tossed a HID in there for a bit for the hell of it....I really wasn't digging the "reptile light", but its still in there. I went ahead and tossed a window ac unit in my "window". it was again TOO warm with the HID cooltube and all. Was hangin around 94-97 degrees!!!! ac there, now I need to make some makeshift ductingand vent the ac exhaust outside

im very green to this, does anyone think I should spread these ladies out a bit, and use the space that's available? I don't have a par meter or whatever, so wouldn't know where I get the best par ratin or umols or whatever

Your best bet is to try and space the lights evenly around the tent to make sure your light coverage is as even as it can be and minimize spots with less light coverage. You don't need a par meter to see if a part of your plant is in the shade. I would also do some low-stress training for sure. Bend the tallest branches down so that they are the same height as the shorter ones. That will allow more even lighting of the buds and also help prevent the shade spots that can happen from tall branches. Be careful with the LST as going too aggressively can cause you to snap some branches. I would bend until just before you think it will snap and just leave it there. Maybe try again the next day and see if you can move it further. LST is a bit tricky once you've begun flowering as the plant tries to stiffen its stems to support the flowers. You should also do some decently heavy defoliation. around week 2-3 of flower, I usually strip the lower 1/3rd of the plant thats not receiving much light as those buds won't develop into much. After that, I clear out a lot of the fan leaves through the rest of the plant to open it up for light to reach lower buds and allow more air to flow through the plant to prevent mold. Don't go toooo crazy and remove all the leaves though. I will usually take off 25-30% of the fan leaves evenly across the plant making sure to specifically go after big leaves that are blocking light from lower buds. Good luck with the grow and I hope you have a good harvest!

oh, I didn't know all this was linked up, lol. I now know how to comment and what not, lol. his answer was fine, I was just seeing what it did when I picked select, didn't know it worked like that. been lookin at par meter, moles a minute crap, but I see them either priced for the overly wealhy, or the couple cheap one. and they are very cheap, do not seem legit. and lack of bars to hang lighting on, cant quite place them where I want, they get a bit heavy up there.

and the 3 leggy ladies are the LSD 25. 2 of them had ph issues early, any they seem to be the leggier couple. I guess lsd just a tall one, did a bit of training, even threw a fan at one to try and slot it down

and I do have to move them around quite a bit, wouldn't be able to bend them down much at all, if any. ill check it out

Lol, man you went all in when you started growing didn't you. The size of that tent! fair play clearly paid off nice one.

I see you have the same issue a lot of growers have when trying to size lights. Try to look at the actual wattage the light draws not the advertised wattage. You see a lot of lights being sold as 600 watt that really only draw 300-350 watts. In the future I would get another identical light like your larger one then use one large on the left side and one small light on the right side end to end in the front. Then one large on the right side and one small on the left end to end in the back. This should give you more even coverage. I would definately get a PPF/PAR meter in the future It will take the guess work out of how close you can go with your lights to get the most out of them.👍

@Philindicus, I had figurethose cheap ones wernt too great, but if they work, hey. I have my previous runs results wrote down. it had 1 fastbuds: gorilla glue and 2x COTC: white widow and narcotherapy

@beenSlayin, Cool then you have plenty of wattage to work with. We have to become part time mad scientists here to max out our grow set ups. But I'm enjoying the hell out of it sharing information with other growers. If you buy a meter save for a good one I bought a cheap hydro farm PAR meter it gets the job done but already I have to use a portable rechargeable battery because the internal one won't charge any more not to mention I had to break out the soldering iron to repair a wire that came loose inside the probe.👍 https://www.apogeeinstruments.com/full-spectrum-quantum-sensor/

@Philindicus, yes, I have actual wattage of two of them describe. those are rated 2x2000w and 1x3000w. one of them I will never find the draw for I know, lol. and I will never know the wavelegths or whatever outside of my sights spectrum that the plants do utilize. so even thos shady spots may be getting 720nm n I cant see it. yes meter would be awesome. thanks for help and opinions everyone

@Ferenc, thanks... it does need work with the moving around and stuff, and of course, figuring out how to get the girls gassed out w/o much leakage....maybe next one

grow is looking great! I would not recommend to defoliate at all. I was doing it on my Lemon AK's and they absolutely did not like it.. I'm sure one of them turned hermie because of this. Happy growing ✌️

@beenSlayin, Yeah no worries about that. Sometimes its good to try out some stuff in the name of practice and learning. Good luck with the rest of your grow 😃
