Day 17;
Three days after the plant was quadlined and she starts to recover.
'Day 19;
This girl is a champ. She grows extremely well, She'll be ready for another topping shortly.
Later on her LST was started.
Day 20;
I got a bit too rough with her during training and one of the main branches snapped. It snapped almost right through but I taped it quickly. I believe she'll recover, but growth will most likely slow down on this branch and it'll yield less than the others - bummer!
I added a bit of Rhino Skin to help with the healing.
Day 21;
The broken branch seems ok so far. I can't really see any difference to the other side at all. I might top her again in a day or two...
Impressed with your grow... Very well trained lady. I got the same strain but my last has a lot more sativa than indica and she is long and lanky.. how come you're still using bigbud at this stage. I thought that's Stops after week 4
@MRTHC, I'll flush for a maximum of 1 week, perhaps a bit less. Since the plant doesn't have so much foliage, there shouldn't be too much nutes in the plant that need to be flushed out.
@Nickeluring,
Thanks for that piece of info. I think I'm going to start back my big bud feeding. Also for this strain when would you generally start the flush.
@MRTHC, Hi and thanks.
You're supposed to use Big Bud up until you start using Over Drive. So, for a plant that flowers for 10 weeks, you should use Big Bud up until week 7. The reason I'm using Over Drive at the same time is I have 2 other strains on the same feed line and they're flowering a bit faster. I'll keep using Big Bud for as long as the buds grow taller in length.
Hey man, great job with that workout!👍 But I didn't understand when and where you used the topping to let out 8 colas !!! 🤔 Can you explain brotha to me better? 🙏 it is a great technique that I would also like to try !!!!🤙
GO Friend, I root for you!🌱🌱🌱
@Nickeluring,Thank you so much my friend, your answer was certainly helpful for me !!! 🙏
As soon as I grow up a photo-dependent girl, I will definitely try this beautiful technique.👊
@Rwein93, Hiya buddy!
I'm glad you like my technique. I've been planning it for a while, but it's the first time I try it. You can also see my 2 other plants that are trained using the same technique.
Step 1 - quadline the plant
1. Top at node 4 as soon as plant is big enough. You can see pics at week 2, day 14. You can also compare pics from my 2 other diaries.
2. Only keep node 3 and 4, remove the shoots at node 1 and 2, keep the fan leaves for energy
Step 2 - make 8 colas
1. Train the 4 branches outwards
2. Let the 4 branches grow big enough so you can top them again at the 3rd node. Pics at week 4. day 24.
3. Remove the shoots from nodes 1 and 2 of each branch. (I actually removed these before I topped at node 3, as soon they were big enough so I could safely pinch them off with my fingers)
4. Train the 8 shoots into position around the pot from where they will start growing upwards.
I have kept every single fan leaf to increase the plants energy production. Other growers usually don't do this. Each to their own...
WOW........😀,
so ein hübsches, gesundes Mädchen
in ein paar Wochen ist sie bestimmt zu einem Top Model
heran gewachsen.....sie lieben ihr Mädchen......man kann
es deutlich sehen !
Beste Grüße

@HazeyBobby, Yes, it's getting close to harvest now. This girl is a very good yielder, and going from her smell her buds will be absolutely delicious. Can't wait...
Looking real nice and frosty! Those buds are beautiful and vibrant. Very healthy all around! 👏
Can't wait to get started on mainlining and it's all because of you 😅
That's a really cool looking structure. I like how it filled out.
Interesting in seeing how that defoliation method works too.
I'm just used to lollipopping myself.
Buds are looking nice and frosty!
Did stretching come to a halt yet?
@EZgrower, thank you and welcome.
This girl is happy alright, but she has been a bit outgrown by her tent sisters. Different strains so nothing strange there, but she decided to grow sideways when her sisters grew taller. Hopefully she'll stretch a bit more than the others...
@happytrees, I'm curious too as to how the mainlining will turn out 😀but I'm pretty sure it'll be great. It's a bit tight with 3 plants in my small tent, but will hopefully be ok anyway.
I saw you're in flower since a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to see how your flowers turn out, you'll be about a month ahead of me.
