I feel as though they have slowed down in their growth process. even though I am still seeing an inch a day from plant #1 and about half that in plant #2. I did top them 5 days ago and they have already taken off. I should be able to see More clearly both take off by the end of the day today. Any suggestions on when I should start to flower? I had to LST plant #1 down to match the height of #2.
I think this will be my last week of veg. I will switch light on Saturday to give 24h off. Waiting on my inline fan to get here for better air in so I get 100% dark for my night schedule.
Hoping to see a great stretch over the next few days. I will be sure to document the day to day progress this week! I am on week 7 Day 1 and starting it out with 24 hrs of total darkness. I will turn the lights back on in the morning, set my new light schedule, and feed these thirsty girls an hour or so after they wake with some freshly mixed nutrients! I need to be sure to better my set up for next grow to accommodate for clones!
Update:
I awoke these girls after 24 Hr of dark to find some strong yellowing of leaves. I am almost positive it has to do with the sever temp drop I had. Got as low as 62 over night for a few hrs at least. I will check on them again later today.
These girls are looking good at the end of week 7 which is pictured. I checked on them this morning and I have signs of tri's starting! I will work on getting some more solid, easier to see pics uploaded by tomorrow. As of currently, I have only been feeding my nute's once a week and water once maybe twice a week. I am open to hearing suggestions on a better or more effective way to feed these girls. I never do feed until I see run off unless I am flushing of course.
So this is the start of week 9, plant #1 is by far the strongest lady I have. Lady #2 is still struggling and just starting to show signs of flower after 2 full weeks of 12/12. Both lady 1&2 have strong 9 fan leaves. I have done more research on my lights and have lowered them as much as I can while still getting full coverage. I do have a lady #3 but that one is just lucky I even bothered to save her. Seems as though I will be harvesting these all at a few weeks apart at this rate. I will try to be better with the uploads this week!
The girls are really starting to look promising! Lady #1 has most certainly stealing the show, although last night I did notice lady #2 starting to flower really well and can't wait to see if she starts her stretch today. I didn't get any pictures of girl #2, just so distracted by #1's progress. I will upload lady #2 tonight! I see at least another 4 - 6 weeks before I'm thinking of harvest, so plenty of time for these ladies to swell up!
So at the start of week 11 and these girls are really starting to look good. Lady #1 has been the front runner since day one and has really started to frost over, she still has a weak smell but she is very very sticky! Lady #2 has decided to show up and she is really starting to grow. She has the strongest smell by far and looks like she is going to lean towards the indica side of the hybrid. #1 and the loner #3 are showing as strong sativas! I can't wait to see these girls grow for the next 3- 4 weeks by my guess! I will be sure to keep this better up to date this week.
So I have been a little behind in updating this but here we go on getting a few updates going. These are all of the pictures that I have from week 12. #1 is going crazy strong, #2 is staying small and starting to amber already!
The smell on these girls has really started to ramp up. #1 has some strong citrus aroma while #2 smells like a dirty skunk! #1 is really starting to fill out and develop some dense looking buds. #2 on the other hand is still small and starting to amber. I will upload more pictures tomorrow!
These ladies are really starting to show me some promising improvement! #1 is absolutely dominating the production at this point while #2 & #3 are still going, but nothing to jump for joy over. All of the lower buds on #1 have started to swell greatly! All of my worries are starting to go out t he window on these girls, my tri's are still 100% clear at this point. I'm thinking at least 1 week more with nutes and next week start my flush! Very excited to have this before Christmas! Thank you Santa, Ho-Ho-Ho. So I think this is last week of nutes for sure and probably start flushing around Wednesday or Thursday. Plan to crop around the 17th
These girls were a little bit of a struggle to dial in on. I took tons of notes and will start another soon. This round only one with a long veg and SCROG
I had a great time with this grow overall. For this being my first time indoor LED grow I am very pleased with the outcome. After cutting everything down and trimming it all up, I am more than pleased with the final product. Although it might not be a whole lot of quantity, it is most certainly quality product! Can’t wait to let these dry and cure and give them all a sample run. I did have a small sample set aside that I pulled off after one week of flashing. I must say even that I am pleased with. I think I’m most excited to try lady number two as she had very different grow characteristics with a much more pungent smell. Can’t wait to get a couple more in the ground!0
Hi RB, You might find it worth your while to explore lower light settings with your next grow. Your plants are miniaturizing because of too much light. Just trying to help.
@Mr_Positivo,
Thanks SOLO, Appreciate all the tips and comments. I have seen a lot of growth in the last 3 days. I have a few new tops emerging every couple days as well.
@TheRealBBrown, Always when you undertake a substantial leaf trim , the plants perk up and the leaves prey. This may not be a function of the light location as you suggest. The other thing you may observe is the plants growth rate slowing down. This is hard to accept as a good thing but infact is more likely to ensure a better result than forcing your plants to mature too quickly via the max light and max nutes route.
Grab yourself a PAR meter if you want to calibrate your light. This is what the pros use to measure light intensity. PAR is for plants, Lux is for people, so they say. As an aside, LED's limited spectrum makes them appear to much dimmer than you would expect them to be when calibrated to the correct level. This is because LED light is PAR light, and does not include a broader range of the spectrum like white light fixtures.
Anyway, keep your plants praying, this is key. Adjust your light and nute, watering schedule accordingly. And grow many more leaves before you flip to ensure the best bud development. Keep up your good work, bro Cheers, and oh, Mum says, don't forget to do your laundry.!!
@Mr_Positivo,
I tried my lights higher in the tent and it seemed to have an adverse reaction. I have trimmed off some of my larger leaves that were draining my energy, put my lights at a distance that I am now getting 17,000 lux (about 22”) and they are perked back up reaching for light.
@@Tryhard,
I am running 2 GalxyHydro 300W LED in a 4x4x6.5' tent. I also have enough air flow to refresh my room every 30 sec if needed. I will post some pics of the set up a little later.
@Irishvirus,
They most certainly do! Between the 3, I have 2 totally different outcomes. Lady 1 &3 both have a sweet citrus smell to them and #2 smells like the back side of a skunk!
@Irishvirus,
Thanks man, I was really concerned that these ladies would never take off. But the last few days I have seen visible growth day to day. I will start my flush about mid way through this week! Can't wait to smoke on this, well these, they are coming in like 2 different strains at this point.
good job here...I am growing some crop king too...their Crown Royale I believe its a kush cross...this is a good solid complete diary...your doing a good job here and always remember that if your tracking your grow and if you feel you can improve or grow a strain better you have put in work and logged the information to refrence and make improvements next time around...AND your helping others as well that may want to grow the same strain...your doing awesome here buddy and I def see you headed in the correct direction!!!
👌
@Sillyasswhitedude,
Thanks for the positive reinforcement! There for a couple of weeks I was worried I would have a small yield, but going into this week , my doubt is gone! This is my first go with Crop King and I really don't know what to think... yet, lol. These three are growing as if they are 2 totally different strains! Still have a couple of weeks as my tri's are still 100% clear.
well with this strain, I would probably veg 9 or 10 weeks, I would top sooner and probably a soil less grow medium. And definitely a light with a better footprint
So Saturday will mark week 7 and these girls now look ready to flower. My plan is to leave my lights on Friday for 24 Hours (Off Saturday Morning at 8am), then off for 24 Hours and back on for the 12/12 cycle on Sunday Morning @ 8 am. I will get some better Pictures of the ladies tonight. Cant wait to watch these stretch!
