The 2 seedlings o the bottom right in the brown root riots are the exotic surprises. The other root riots contain Cashcrop Auto, THC bomb auto, Fruit punch auto, and The Ultimate auto. The rockwool cubes are some of my lettuce and culinary herbs.

I am excited to be up and running again with a new location. The seeds from this grow are a total mystery as far as the strain. What I can tell you is it came directly from Exotic Seed and the two seeds were loose in my envelope containing my prize from a grow a few months back. The bag contained completely sealed packs of Herz OG, Gypsy Widow, and Blue Monkey. So these two bonus seeds sprouted and I am going to experiment with this (hopefully) ladies. I moved to a much better location in So Cal which has plenty of outdoor and private space. Just a couple miles from the Pacific Ocean so I will be preventive be treating my outdoor plants with sulfur and BT to prevent mildew. I plan on growing in Coco and also outdoor dwc. I dropped 6 total beans for this run and will separate each one into it's own journal except for these two as they are the mystery strain(s). Currently 4 seeds have popped and are in my general nursery area with my other herbs and lettuce seedlings. My nursery light is a 7 in 1 light splitter from Amazon with 5 x 100w (9 actual) leds in 5000K. I have used this same light to grow many herbs and lettuce from seed to harvest and it will be great for their first week or so. Then the California Sun will do its magic. I know this is a real late outdoor planting but it's all for fun and experimentation. Hoping it will be similar to a 12/12 from seed.
9/21 only had 7 gal fabric pots on hand. Filled with roughly 5 gal worth of "expert" brand coco coir found in cubes sold at Walmart for $5 and when expanded makes enough for around 15 to 20 gal worth of pot fills. Worked awesome for my basil, catnip, tomatoes etc. Added about 20% perlite to the mix. Placed out in the sun today for first time as well. Should get about 8 hours of direct sun and gradually decreasing as the season progresses. First feeding will be tomorrow. I rehydrated the coco with tap water ph to 6.0 with 330ppm.
In all honesty, ,I do not expect to succeed with this run. Outdoors, fall outdoors 85+ humidity at night more for shits and giggles cause I got my phone wallet keys.
9/22 fed first meal
@Ga4rd2en0er, I’m in Aussie and it is sweltering here!! Good for the plants but I would love a couple of those cool days just for a break. We are also experiencing a record drought so I collect as much rain as I can when it rains, then have to go back to filtered tap water,, which the plants definitely don’t love as much. It hailed the other day and I ran around the yard like an idiot collecting hailstones for the girls!! Cheers
@Shooey, it's going to be 45 to 55F for the next week. They seem to be trucking along fine and their scent is rapidly increasing. Not sure if it's the cold or the last few weeks before harvest. Spotty chances of rain so keeping them in the hoop house for now. Thanks for stopping by!
It looks pretty dang fine despite the problems you faced man👍! I'm happy you stuck with them and recieved some bud for your efforts.
Enjoy your smoke and congrats on another grow under your belt!
@JinksyGrows, thanks jinks, bud visual quality is lacking but the smoke is great. Wish I could have have got the extra grams and density the last few weeks bring but very happy to have what I atleast salvaged.
They look good in the pics gardener,, not easy navigating outdoor grows and it’s good to expect anything. I love how you name them too,, I might start that. Cheers😀👍
