Did some defoliation and pruning. I only have 45w lights on it though, how much could this hurt my yield ?

Just reading about LST now, didn’t do it but wondering if it’s too late, if so what other types of methods can I use to increase colas at this stage?

Plants look great. It is too late for LST training. But you can do some leaf tucking/tying and or some defoliation to open up the plant to allow more light to reach the bud sites. Most growers will remove the large fan leaves from the lower 1/4 to 1/3 of the plant and tiny buds site lowest on the branches that will never get enough light to amount to anything significant. This will force more energy/nutrients to the upper buds site increasing their growth. Also tucking the upper leaves or tying them will allow more light to get to the buds as you get closer to harvest you can start to slowly remove more of them to ensure maximum light is hitting them. If your definately in bloom using nutrients low in nitrogen with medium/ high phosphorus and high potassium will help your buds grow in size and density over the next several weeks. Keep in mind buds put on the most weight during the last 2-3 weeks before harvest. Hope this helps👍

I only have 45w lights on it though, I’m worried about this hurting my yield. There are some small colas towards the lower half, should I consider clipping them to focus more energy on top canopy? Thanks!

Definitely lollipop 45w is not enough even for one plant. U might want to buy one more of your lights for this grow to be at 90w. You want to size your grow light by your square footage you are growing in and times it by 30w to 50w. So if I have a 3x3 that would 9 square ft. Now take 9x30=270w this will be the lowest watts I want from grow light. 9x50=450w will be the max I want for a 3x3 to get good yields.

Hi @Hutch80! In my opinion this would have benefit to your yield, but it's too late. I do not recommend to prune/lollipop after the 2nd week into the flowering stage. Doing it during late flowering increases the risk to harm/stress the plant and loose in weight. In this situation I would try to increase light penetration on the lowest colas, by bending the main stem slightly. Next time consider buying a real led growlight such! Let me know in the comments section if you need any further information, and happy growing! 👊
