Ive deceided to give it one more week of veg because she isnt quite as big as id like. 12/12 next week
ive strained the two main nodes twice now and the secondary nodes have just been strained, i tried to keep it symmetrical but nature doesnt do that so whatever.
Dude this strain was my last grow. Beware it can stretch quite a lot!!
The smell and the high are just amazing! On four plants I have one in particular that really smells like straight strawberry candies, the taste left in the mouth when I vaporize it is so good!! The others have a nice blend of amnesia and fresh strawberries smell .
Can't wait to see what you end up with as you seem to be a way more experienced grower than me. Enjoy and thanks to Dinafem for that great strain!
@ShermanWallace, I have some pics on my instagram but they were taken close to the end. I don't remember if I took many pics during the transition, I have to check. If I did I will send you some of them. ;-)
@ShermanWallace, Ok seems fine. But be careful with the yellowing, it rarely ends by itself. I had the issue with her because I was using Vertafort nutes for the first time and went a bit too low on the feeding. In your case I would allready water once or twice with bonemeal (allways usefull before flowering) and keep within easy reach some cal/mag in case the yellowing continues.
Thank you very much for documenting your grow on this great platform and secondly nice to see our strawberry amnesia above ground and entering week 2๐
She looks good so far and developing well for this young stage.
Can I ask why have you gone with 24/0 lighting as opposed to traditional 18/6? As this is a photoperiod strain I do think she would benefit from a dark cycle even 20/4๐
We will be following along and watching with interest mate ๐
So far looking really good ๐
Until next time๐
All the best

@ShermanWallace, personally I would stick with the tried and tested 18/6 mate. Yes you could go to 20/4 but I have always been of the firm belief that plants need 5-7 hours of sleep to be most effective in growth.
Yours are certainly growing well and they are definitely going to appreciate the pitting up into the extra medium. This will allow much more room for root development. As we know happy roots = happy plants and yours look great.
Thank you so much from all at Dinafem for taking the time out of your day to update your diary. Looking very nice so far mate!
Until your next update.

@JaketheBake, from what I know, 18/6 or 20/4 is good, but no more than that
it needs to rest (more natural day / night cycle) and the dark period is good for the roots
@DinafemSeeds, wow, it's so cool that you guys are so involved with your products. The strawberry amnesia is looking beautiful so far, nice and healthy. I kept the light 24/0 for the first two weeks only because I wanted to kickstart it and I am very impatient ๐. Do think she would benefit more from 20/4 Or should I keep it standard with 18/6?
One big fat central cola with some very nice size supplemental side branches :)
Really nice work my friend and best wishes for the harvest ahead :)
Could you do some pictures please pre harvest? That would be fantastic :)
Not long now mate then you can get the scissors out and your fingers sticky :)
All the best
