All seems well so far. Had a nice sprout towards the end of week 2. All six plants now how adult leaves. Raised the CO2 levels this week. Plants seem to be enjoying it.

Beginning of week 4. All plants were topped. Have nearly doubled in size since last week. One of the auto Dark Purple has already started forming flowers, didn't expect that to happen already.

I defoliated bottom leaves, the tent has really gone jungle style now. Kicked on the extra LEDs for bloom only and the center LED is running both VEG and BLOOM lights. The two auto dark purple plants show a few leaves canoeing. Maybe too much nitrogen from trying to keep the PPM levels up. Flushed with sledgehammer.

The 2 Auto Dark Purps have a few leaves clawing. I drained the reservoir and filled it with filtered water and Flushed them with fox farms sledgehammer. How long should I flush? Should I just back off on Nutes or stay with plain water for a few days? Any help is welcomed.

I would flush for 3 days. After that resume feeding but go half of what you where using and slowly bumb up in week 3 or 4 of flower and also lower nitrogen at these weeks but continue to give plenty Pk at these stages.

Looking good this week. Waiting for the non Autos to show signs of bud. Keeping Nutes low to help with the slight burn that showed in the Auto Purps. All 3 lights running, 3 LEDs that run actual 265 each. Keeping an AC unit in the tent to keep temps low. Refraining from CO2 this week. Ran out and don’t have time to fill the tank right now.

Finally peaked at the roots and they look healthy, all bright white. Flowers forming on all plants. Dark Purple KUSH plants have adjusted and the buds are growing well on those. Added Mammoth P microbes beginning of last week and again in the reservoir change this week. So far so good. Trimmed them all.

Frosty Flowers are starting to bust out from everywhere! The Auto Dark Purple Kush plants are getting close, trichomes are 100% milky and a few have turned amber. Maybe harvest by next weekend or the one after that depending in how fast they start to Amber up. The Sugar Candy is taking over the show with how fast the flowers have emerged and the size they are at this point. Golosa #1 is a hard second and isn't failing to impress my Newbie ass. The 11 Roses and Golosa #2 are doing nicely and will definitely produce. Went with the 3/4'ish of the suggested nutrients recommended by Fox Farm. Added for six gallons worth of filtered water versus the eleven gallons in the reservoir. CO2 is almost finished for this run. I worry it could stop the buds from maturing, getting amber trichomes, if I run any more past this week. Any thoughts are welcome here?

The flowers are starting to get bigger and some are fattening up faster than others. The GOLOSA plants have an amazing amount of trichomes shiny and crystal like. The Auto Dark Purple Kush plants have a few amber trichomes but not enough to harvest just yet. Those plants require a different regiment than the other four in the tent. It shows, rust spots on the fan leaves indicate, as far as I can tell, that they have a calcium or manganese deficiency. The other plants are thriving. I think for any future grows, I will stick to one strain maybe two. All in all, I am happy with the progress so far. All advice is welcome.

Auto Dark Purples are almost there. Hoping to harvest them very soon. The larger Golosa plant developed a few spots on the older leaves. Not sure if it is nute burn or a cal deficiency. Added 3 gallons regular unfiltered tap water just in case of a boron issue. The Sugar candy flowers just keep getting bigger. The Eleven Roses is starting to really fill out, a skinnier gal than the others but tight. Second Golosa is growing but has the smallest flowers of the group right now. Plenty of time to go though.

Are these flowers good to harvest? The Auto Dark Purple Kush plants are on time, maybe a little late. They've flushed for one day so far and will give them two more days. Keeping them in the dark 24/7 with the final flush at 45% humidity. Thanks for the help?

A little extra patience is key to practise my friend it's easy to get over excited and want to harvest , but that little extra bit of waiting will pay off with tasty buds that get you cooked .... Just good out some more and keep flushing best of luck ....maby try colder water as well and some ice to boot ...simulate autumn rain early first type deal ...cheers canna family

Start of week 11. Added Cha Ching to the reservoir. Guess I’ll see what cha Ching means. The two Auto purples are in their own tent now, closer to harvest. The other four are looking great and filling out. Lots of defoliating, a shopping bag full this time. Clipping anything that grows half way down the stock and lower.

I should have harvested it sooner. Trichomes finally turned 20-25% amber. Maybe shouldn’t have waited. We’ll see

Stinking up the whole house. The Sugar Candy is about 19% amber. I’ve reduced the PPM to 550. Trying a slow flush to the finish line.

Checked trichomes on last four plants. Sugar Candy and Eleven Roses looked ready. Ranging from 5-30% amber depending on bud site. Harvested those two. The Golosa need a little more time. Hopefully only a week.

Delicious seeds Golosa has a nice licorice and diesel aroma. Very uplifting head and body buzz. Keeps me from waking up at night, can sleep until the alarm goes off. All four photosensitive plants yielded a little over a half pound dry. Very happy with my second ever grow. Now, what to do with all this bud?

The Sugar Candy has a sweet exhale and flavor. This strain makes everyone I know more talkative and relaxed. Nice head and body buzz. Strong fragrance and bright orange colors. It sprouted strong and grew fast. Very healthy and roots were nice and white through the grow. Tastes and smells great. Need to figure out how to get more weight. Also, I’ve found ten seeds. Are these any good? They look normal

This one sprouted a little deformed. Almost threw it out. The smallest plant of the bunch. The flowers grew in a spiral up the stalk, very cool. Nice heavy body buzz and pain reliever A Netflix and chill strain.

Looks really good so far.. I'm jealous of the set up you have.. external PH meter and reservoir.. awesome. I was going to mention that the feed is probably a bit strong and your light a little close, but looks like you have Co2 running so that is supposed to help that. I would be careful to watch for bleaching, taco'ing of the leaves, and other signs of heat stress. It is ok to leave the light higher and let them stretch up to it.. Typically 24-30 inches the first week or two of veg.. but every environment is different! It is way easier to burn your plants than to give them too little light, especially this young,
motaman311
motaman311commented5 years ago
@Optico45, It all depends on the size of your tent and canopy. The amount of plants doesn't REALLLLY matter... it all depends on canopy size. The more plants help reduce veg time and sometimes its safer to run more plants because you can kill 1 and still be fine. It is recommended to get about 30-50 Watts per sq foot depending on quality of the LED's etc, so 3 in what I think is a 4x4(?) should be plenty of light. I have a 4x4 and run 2 240W Quantum LED boards and seem to do pretty well. I could use more light tbh, but I'd rather keep the environment more stable then the benefit of more light.
Optico45
Optico45commented5 years ago
@@@motaman311, just ordered an ec/tds/ppm meter. The LED draws 265w from the wall. I have three of these. When they get larger I’ll adjust to get the best coverage. That should be enough for six plants right?
motaman311
motaman311commented5 years ago
@Optico45, for LED look at the specs of the light under power draw.. that is the real number you are running. So if power draw is only 600W, that's what your actual wattage.. not the inflated watts that a lot of the blurple lights claim. I recommend a PPM/TDS meter as well. It lets you see how the plant is feeding. PPMs rise, you are underfeeding, PPMs increase overfeed.

Have you aim at the bud trichome or are thes pics from the leaves? Leave trichome yellows a couple of weeks faster. But is is the flower trichome that you would want to see.
Optico45
Optico45commented5 years ago
@Med_in_Tropic, I’ve looked at both. Not different as far as the trichome colors go. I’m waiting. Seems to be the general consensus from all the comments. This site is awesome. Thank you!
