Week 2 update - here we go again. Ph - monitored and corrected daily. TDS ~400ppm so no issues. Water temps - F$&K!!! Like 23-24c. I’ve been trying to keep em down below 20c by using frozen water bottles but this is proving pretty difficult. The res. On week 1 looked to be showing signs of algae growth (I think) as early as the third day post changeover. Really hard to say how this is gonna play out. Given how responsive plants in hydro are to changes we could have root rot set in on any day of the grow if were not careful. I decided to amend the nute solution with a diluted 10ml of hydrogen peroxide in the hopes that it can stave off the algae growth a little better but who knows - might work, might not. Short of a $150 investment in a water chiller I’m running very short on remaining options to fix this issue... suggestions always welcomed y’all!👊 Oct. 2 - res. Change Oct. 5 - res. Change; cut out the h2o2 - res was lookn good so maybe this worked - we’re gonna see for sure over next 3/4 days testing without it. Always troubleshooting it seems😉. Oct. 7 - 500ml top-up Background Here we go again🙄. My next attempt at a hydro application after the utter failure that was the last. If I screw this up again then I will potentially consider giving up on it entirely😂. *Note: nute mix numbers are per 10litres.* This one’s interesting - indica dominant, super tasty and high yielding. Fastbuds does not disappoint on the whole so shes def, getting the hydro application. Here’s to hoping for a monster!🤞
