THC Da Bomb

I grew the THC Bomb Regular seeds, I started with 4 because I needed a female and I wanted to make sure I got one. I culled the other 3 once I found sex. Bomb Seeds sells the THC bomb in Feminized seeds but the seed bank I ordered from only had regular seeds in stock and I really wanted to try this strain so I ordered the regular seeds. The regular seeds I got 10 instead of 5 for the feminized package and the price was $10 cheaper for the pack. So twice the seeds and a bit cheaper made it worth while grabbing the regular instead of the feminized. No nutrients this week, just let them be in water and put them in soil. This diary is going to be not as in depth as a lot of my other ones. I had a lot to do this summer and I took several trips away so I wasn't as vigilant in recording and documenting. This is the THC Bomb from Bomb Seeds that I grew.

She's growing up fast, mostly just watering with a little splash of notes.

Nice hot spring weather with lots of humidity, she is dong well. Got a bit of leaf issues on older bottom leaves but she'll be fine. I'm showing THC Bomb #3 only because she was the one I let go to full term. The others I culled.

Right after I took this picture I cut the topped the THC bomb to start the spread. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of her post topped. But she's doing well and she's getting a bit more nutes now.

Had house guests fly in this week, very busy walking my favourite human and keeping her safe. She brought her tiny dog so I giving up my giant pillow to help make her feel comfortable. Unfortunately didn't take any pictures of Da Bomb, just too busy with everything. Da Bomb got replanted into a 16 Gallon pot and she really started to take off. Her main T nodes are spreading out fast.

Look at her grow, nice T stretching out to the edge of the pot. As she was going out the main T I removed all the branches but kept the fan leaves to help pump in more power and get the growth out where I want it. I topped the ends of the run right after taking this picture. She now has her end T on either side and I'm going to run each side to the T around the pot now until the tips almost touch. Da Bomb really took off once she was put into the 16 gallon pot and put under the 150w Quantum LED lights. A little on the light green/yellow side tells me she need more nitrogen, I've started feeding more nutes into her, she'll green up in the next week I'm sure.

This was a week away, just enjoying some nice Canadian lake country. Left the girl hooked up to a couple fish tank pumps in a 5 gallon bucket plugged into a wemo so I could turn it on remotely. Cross my fingers everything is ok.

Came back from my relaxing trip to see a tent full of growth. Did tied down the branches more and needed a heavy defoliation by the end of the week.

AND SHE BOUNCES BACK!!!! Look at this monster go, couldn't tell she had a massive haircut just a week before. She's growing strong and is very happy.

Next week she I'm turning her to flower, BUT I'm also gone for 2 weeks on vacation. So she got a major defoliation. This should help ensure that she makes it until I get back without becoming too unbearable to manage. Got my fish pumps in some 5 gallon buckets to feed and water while I'm gone and fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong because I don't have anyone around to check in on her while I'm away.

Off on vacation, enjoying the summer outdoor chill'n and having a great time. Left a couple 5 Gallon buckets to feed while I'm away. The girls are now switch to 12/12 light and I've started a transition feed.

Hanging with friends and doing a bit of fishing (got to get out there first thing in the morning), epic summer vacation in beautiful Canada. We brought 2 ounces of weed to share with our friends and happy to say we went home with nothing left over. Friends were nice enough to invite us out to their lake front cabin with all the fun lake toys/boats/etc and a couple German Shepards to play with. Nom Nom got to discover the joy of boat rides and chill at the lake with his German Shepard girl friend. Starting to get a little.... nervous about how the girls are doing, a few more days before I'm back home to check on them. Hopefully there wasn't a power outage that killed my fans or my A/C.

Came back from vacation and Da Bomb (and all the girls) were doing amazing! So amazing that it was just solid green from corner to corner. So I did what I do best and took the weed whacker into the tent and trimmed down the excessive fan leaves so the actual plants could be seen. All the pictures are post trimmed. Veg week 8 with the LST training the THC bomb split on the main T. This also happened on my Atomic Bomb. With the Atomic Bomb I freaked a bit and put excessive cloning liquid into the split, that had some bad side effect that stunted the plant I feel. With this THC bomb I decided that I would do nothing. I didn't tape it, I didn't add any cloning agent, I just left it alone and tried to keep it clean. The result has been great, it healed up extremely well and has growing just as fast and just as big as the other 3 non-THC bomb plants. My recommendation to anyone who encounters a split like this would be to stay calm and keep the wound clean. The THC bomb seems is very strong, it has thicker branches than the other 3 girls in the tent (God Bud, Dynamite, Tangie Cookies). However her bud development seems to be a bit behind the other 3 girls, she looks as if she was flipping to 12/12 a week later. We'll see how this plays out further into flowering. THC bomb in now on full bloom Nutes feeding, the first 2 weeks of flower were on a grow/bloom transition.

She's coming along strong, lots of little crowns now. Stretch is over and I can say that THC bomb does stretch but not a lot, I'd rate it as medium to low for stretching. Can't really comment on her smell at this time as the Tangie Cookies in the back corner is so dominant that it overpowers the tent. Temps are holding nicely and I'm starting to drop the humidity now.

Buds are really starting to develop now. She had a little more stretch in her last week (FW4) makes me feel like my initial assessment was correct in that she seemed to react to flowered ~5 days delayed compared to the other girls in the tent. I have a... argument/bet with my S/O. I like to lolly pop the plants hard and just grow the top bit. I think it makes better, fatter, more frosty buds. My S/O thinks that we will get the same size/quality of buds just more of them if we keep more of the lower buds on the plant. Since I grew the last 3 grows my way, we are going to try leaving more down the cola's and test the other way, see if we get more weight out of it and what the quality is.

Beautiful buds dancing up the cola's, coming in all white and beautiful. Da Bomb is doing very well, she's catching back up to the other girls and is very sticky and crystally all over. Still have her on full feed right now but starting to need to make choices on harvest window and reducing nutes need to be made.

Nutes are starting to be pulled back in preparation for harvest. Her buds/colas seem to be a little on the smaller side still, while the other girls in the tent seem to be plumping up a lot this week. Right I'm planning to harvest her near the end of her "harvest window" as I feel she is still a bit behind where she needs to be.

Week 8 and she is really starting to plump up now. I've said since the beginning she feels like she flipped to flower ~5-7 days later then normal and I still feel this way. Lots of white hairs, very few orange hairs, trichomes are cloudy but not amber. She's looking great and smelling great and she needs a bit more time. I've stopped the Nutes, she's now in flush.

Da Bomb is really fattening up this week, nice and crystally too. Trichomes are cloudy with very few clear and very few amber. She had only water all week as I'm inside the harvest window and looking for her to ripen up the trichomes. F60 was harvest day and the pictures were taken minutes before dropping.
