Blue Dreamers

Day 0 - Started germination on 1 October and she’s not fully popped open but shell is cracked so went ahead and placed her in a jiffy pellet. Will start day 1 when her first set of true leaves show. Day .25 - Nothing new today, hasn’t broke the soil yet so still waiting. Day .75 - She’s broke through the soil and has opened up a bit and just waiting for the true leaves to show and officially start day 1. Day 1 - Officially day one and went ahead and transplanted her into a 3 gallon fabric pot and placed a glass over her to keep the humidity up. Gave the soil a very light spritz of water. Day 2 - Nothing too much going on right now, still keeping the humidity up for this girl and she seems to be doing fine. Gave her and the soil a light spritz of water and put the glass back over top of her. Day 3 - So far so good with the girl, she’s just doing her root work right now. Gave her a little mist of water today and still have the glass over her for higher humidity. Day 4 - Nothing major happening right now, still doing her root work. Still keeping the glass over to keep the humidity up a bit. Gave her another light spritz if water today. Day 5 - Not doing to bad, she’s still young but something seems a little off with her but could be just me being paranoid. Gave her a little bit of water today. Day 6 - Closing in on the end of the first week and not sure how happy I am with this girl. It seems like the last couple I’ve tried to start either didn’t really grow or is stunted so I think I must be overwatering it’s something but I’m only using a water bottle and just giving a light spritz so I think I’m just gonna start everything in a solo cup and transplant to avoid overwatering. Day 7 - End of week 1 and she seems to be looking a little better. Did a little adjusting to the fan and is blowing on her a little more so not sure if that’s what helped or she is just feeling better. The better airflow is helping the soil dry out a little quicker so gave her a bit of water today as well.

Day 8 - Starting week 2 and not doing to bad. New growth looks pretty decent but something still seems a little off with this girl and not sure what it is. Day 9 - She’s definitely looking better that she has been but doesn’t seem very big for being 9 days old but could be just the genetics and maybe she’ll get a growth spurt soon. Gave her a little bit of water today. Day 10 - All in all looking a bit better but lowered the lights a bit, she seems a bit lengthy. Gave her just a little bit of water with the spray bottle. Day 11 - Soil was really dry today so gave her a good bit of water to maybe get deeper and to the roots and MAYBE that’s why she’s not really growing like my others. She looks fairly healthy, just seems stunted or something. Day 12 - Not looking too bad but still a little small. She’s a little leggy so gonna add a little soil to the pot tomorrow to give her a bit more stability. Day 13 - No real update today and haven’t really don’t much with her. Overall I think she’s gonna be a fairly small girl so probably won’t do any LST with her. Day 14 - End of week 2 and she seems to be doing ok. Not big but overall looks pretty healthy.

Day 15 - She’s doing pretty decent for starting week 3. Definitely don’t think she’s gonna be a very big plant but as long as she’s healthy and produces something, I’ll be happy. Gave her a little water today, soil was pretty dry. Day 16 - Nothing new to report today, she’s a slow grower but looks pretty healthy right now. Day 17 - Little girl is looking good right now and just doing her thing. Going to let her go all nautical with no training and see how she does. Will probably give her some water tomorrow, she’s starting to dry out. Day 18 - All is good and she’s progressing well. Got a new light coming in and hoping it’s going to help her out with her growth. Overall she’s looking good, just not a very big girl. Had to give her some water today. Day 19 - Overall looking pretty good but think I gave her a little too much water yesterday. She looks good but just a bit droopy so will let her dry out for awhile. Ended up topping her since I don’t think she’s going to be that big of a plant and we’ll see how she does. Got the new AGLEX COB LED set up and hanging to hopefully that will help her. Day 20 - Closing in on the end of week 3 and bit oh boy what a difference this new light is making. She is the perfect shade of green and perked up nicely. She’s doing really well after topping her yesterday as well. She’s still a bit damp so will give her some water on Sunday. Day 21 - The end of week 3 and she’s really starting to good good. She’s grown and looks a lot better since the new light was hung. Still going to just let her grow naturally. Gave her a bit of water today.

Day 22 - Starting week 4 and didn’t want to initially but because she seems to be doing good, I went ahead and started LST with her. Tied down the main stem and a couple other branches to try and get them out and away from the main stem. She’s doing ok from topping her so I think she’ll be just fine and recover nicely from the training. Day 23 - Had to remove a couple giant fan leaves that were pretty much blocking everything below from getting light and now she looks so tiny. Hopefully the lower branches can start stretching now but wondering now if maybe the light is to powerful because I’m not getting much stretching from her. The lights are already 40” from the canopy but I’m just gonna let her go and see what happens. Gave her a good amount of water, until runoff. I haven’t been watering much to keep from overwatering so wanted to get water to the bottom of the pot so her roots can stretch down. Day 25 - Looking pretty decent today but for some reason some of the branches that were tied down haven’t turned up to the light and not sure why, never had an issue with that before but re-tied a couple more that we’re reaching up to kind of keep her opened up. Next watering I will probably give her some veg nutes. Day 26 - Looking a lot better now, I did some height adjustment on the light and it seemed to help and most tied down branches are reaching for the light but did re-tie a couple more down. Will wait for her to dry out then will give her a feeding of veg nutes since I’m not seeing any pistils yet. She’s still a bit light in color so guessing she’s needing some nitrogen in her. Day 27 - Not much new today, gonna let her dry out just a bit more then will give her the first feeding of veg nutes. Day 28 - The end of week 4 today and she’s looking a lot better than she was earlier in the week. Color is starting to darken up a little more and definitely not as pale. Will still give her a feeding of nutes next watering.

Day 29 - Starting week 5 and gave her the first feeding of nutes today. I’ll continue to give her nutes from week 4 of foxfarm’s feeding chart until she starts to flower and then I’ll change it up. No sign of any pistils yet but hoping she’ll start preflower this week. Also did a little more LST with her to open her up more. Day 30 - Went and did a little more tying down today and this will be it for awhile. Going to let her start getting some more vertical growth. She seems to of taken the feeding yesterday pretty well and looks like there have been a couple pistils just barely starting to show. Day 31 - She’s starting to shape up quite nicely. Stretched about 3/4 of an inch the LST 24 hours and want her to get some more vertical growth before continuing with LST. I did tie down one of the branches where she split from the topping a couple weeks ago. Will give her a few more days before giving her some more water. Day 32 - Looking great and starting to see a few more pistils. Still letting her go to stretch a bit before continuing LST. She does have on spot where I topped her that doesn’t look all that healthy. The rest of the girl looks good though so not going to worry too much about it, I’ll just keep an eye on her for now. I will probably give her another feeding of nutes tomorrow. Day 33 - All is looking good overall and I gave her another feeding of veg nutes today. It seems like she’s lacking a bit on the nitrogen and is a little pale. Tied another branch down that was getting ahead of the rest and wanted to keep everything as even as possible. A few more pistils are showing so hopefully in the next week or so, she’ll be in full bloom. Day 34 - Almost the end of week 5 and she’s really starting to come alive and explode with growth. She’s got more pistils showing so hoping she’ll be in full flower in the next week. Day 35 - Ending week 5 and I’m thinking this girl is gonna be a beast once she really starts flowering. She’s shaped up pretty well from the LST and showing some more pistils. Might be ready for some water but going to give her another day before giving her some.

Day 36 - Starting week 6 and this girl is really exploding with growth right now. More and more pistils are starting to show so hopefully next week she’ll be in full flower. She was pretty dry so gave her about 3/4’s a gallon of water. Day 37 - She’s still exploding with growth so did quite a bit of leaf tucking to try and keep her opened up. There’s so many bud sites once she really starts flowering so I’m hoping to get quite a bit from her. Noticed some leaves have some slight burning on the tips but don’t see it spreading anywhere else so I will go a little lighter on the nutes next feeding. Day 38 - She’s coming alive and really starting to gulp the water up. Not quite ready today but she’ll get a feeding tomorrow. Not sure if I should switch to bloom nutes since she’s popping pistils everywhere now or continue veg nutes until she’s done stretching. I’ll have to do some research unless anyone has some input. Day 39 - Still growing like a champ and gave her about a gallon of fresh water and cal-mag today. Looks likes she’s definitely starting to flower and she’s gonna be a beast. Keeping an eye on the slight burn on the some leaf tips so next watering I’ll go a bit light on the feed but will be switching to bloom nutes. Day 41 - Almost the end of week 6 and things are going well and looks like this is going to be a pretty big girl. Going to give her another day and will give her a feeding of bloom nutes, she’s almost dried out. Day 42 - The end of week 6 and gave her the first feeding of bloom nutes. Since she’s got a little bit of burning on the tips, I went a little lower that the recommended dosage.

Day 43 - Starting week 7 and damn this girl is taking off. She’s starting to bud up nicely and doesn’t seem to have any issues from the feeding of bloom nutes yesterday. The pot is already starting to get light so will be giving her some pH’d water and cal-mag in the next day or two. Day 44 - Nothing much new today but she’s definitely starting her stretch. She’s stretching close to an inch every 24 hours and hoping she doesn’t get too crazy. Will be giving her some fresh water tomorrow. Debating on doing some defoliation, she’s pretty damn bushy right now so might just do a couple fan leaves here and there till I get her thinned out. Day 46 - The girl was pretty dry today and gave her a full gallon of pH’d water (6.4) and some cal-mag. Bud sites are definitely starting to fill in quite and bit and she’s looking great but I did remove a few leaves today to try and make her a little less bushy and will continue to remove a few every few days until she’s nice and open. Day 48 - Almost the end of week 7 and she’s filling in nicely. Will be giving her another feeding of nutes tomorrow and removed a couple more fan leaves tonight.

Day 50 - Starting week 8 and gave her a feeding of nutes today. I did remove a couple more fan leaves but she is really think and don’t think I’ll be able to get her thinned out enough and not stress her out. So for now I’m just tucking the leaves as best I can. Day 51 - Did a decent defoliating today but still not enough and don’t want to do too much to stress her out so tucked as much as I could as well. Not really seeing a lot of frost yet but the buds are building up beautifully. Day 52 - Not a whole lot going on right now but again, I removed a few more leaves and tucked the rest again. Plan on giving her some water tomorrow or Thursday. Day 54 - Gave the girl a gallon of water with 7ML of cal-mag today. Didn’t do any defoliating today, just watered her and tucked some more leaves. I’m gonna be out if town for a week so won’t have any updates until next Sunday so hopefully the wife doesn’t kill her while I’m gone.

Day 61 - Into week 9 and back from my little vacation and the wife did good with the girls while I was gone. The girls didn’t need water today but when she dries out, I will be giving her a feeding of nutes. I did a bit of defoliating today and some more leaf tucking. She’s grew up a ton since I left and the buds are looking gorgeous. She’s definitely putting out an awesome smell right now. Day 62 - Nothing new really today, just checked her to ensure she didn’t need water and tucked leaves again. She’s definitely starting to put out a smell of an old wet shoe or something. Day 63 - The end of week 9 and gave her a feeding of nutes today. Fed her with the FoxFarm trio and went to runoff to check the pH. Water going in was 6.7 and coming out easy 6.6 so all is looking good.

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and didn’t do much with her today. Tucked as much as I can and removed some really yellow and dead lower leaves. The buds are coming along nicely and the smell is starting to get really strong. Day 65 - Took her out and removed some dying leaves from the bottom and cleaned out dead leaves that fell from the top of the soil. Checked the soil and not ready for any water yet so put her back into the tent and retucked a bunch of leaves. Day 66 - Nothing much happening today, still not ready for any water yet. Re-tucked the leaves again to keep the bud sites as open as possible. She’s fattening up nicely and can’t wait for this girl to get done cause I’m starting to run low on meds, though I know she’s still got some time left. Day 67 - Gave the girl about a gallon and a half of water today, she was pretty dry. She’s definitely getting fatter everyday and looking forward to the harvest. Checked the runoff and was a little high, 7.2 but not sure now if it’s my pH pen or if it’s really high. Noticed I’m out of calibration fluid so ordered some today so hopefully I’ll get a more accurate reading after recalibrating. Day 68 - Nothing new to report today, she’s good on water and should have the new pH solution tomorrow so I can make sure my pen is calibrated and reading properly. Did a little defoliating as well. Day 70 - End of week 10 today and nothing much happening except she’s still fattening up and getting a more bluish tint to the buds. Will probably be giving her a feed of nutes tomorrow. I do have a few off colored leaves but mostly at the bottom of the plant so thinking it’s because they’re not getting much light. Gonna keep an eye on her and let her go.

Day 71 - Starting week 11 today and gave her a feeding of nutes. She was pretty thirsty and took almost 2 full gallons of water. I did remove a few more fan leaves today and did check the pH runoff and came down a little bit, sitting right at 7.0. I’m thinking she’s down to the last couple weeks so might give her one more feeding of nutes then flush her out and just give water till the end. Day 72 - She’s still fattening up more each day and enough that I can notice the difference every time I look at her. I did notice a few leaves towards the top that are starting to fade to an off color so hopefully she’ll hold out and continue to fatten until harvest but I’ll keep an eye on her. Day 73 - Nothing new to report today, just pulled her out to tuck some leaves and check the trichs. Still quite a bit of clear but some milky in there. Most of the pistils are starting to turn orangish/red. She might be getting down to the last two weeks or so but I’ll let the trichs tell me when she’s ready. Definitely won’t be giving her anymore nutrients, just straight water from here on out. Day 74 - Nothing new again today, she’s looking and smelling great. I think two weeks tops left. Pistils are almost all shriveled up and an orangish/red color and mostly milky but still a few clear in there. She’ll be ready for some water tomorrow. Day 75 - Checking the trichs today, she’s actually just about ready to harvest. I gave her a good watering of plain water today and the PPM is down to about 700 right now. I’ll give her a few days to dry out then I will flush her with foxfarm’s Sledgehammer and wait for her to tell me she’s ready.

I’ll be updating everything once I’m able to smoke and give honest feedback on everything. I had absolutely zero issues with the grow and can’t complain about anything.
