Another week has passed and all is well. So far I have only encountered one hiccup; my power cut out for 24-36 hours, plunging my plants into darkness for this time. They seem to have begun preflowering within this small accidental window, but I have ramped their sunlight hours up to 20 per day to make sure they get the message to continue vegging for now. However, there are as a result a larger amount of pistils than i've seen before at this stage.
I have undergone a second round of tying down just yesterday, and their lateral growth is going really great. Once they cover the width and breadth I desire, I'll start to train their upward growth. I have trimmed the occasional fan leaf here and there to allow for all tops to receive light equally. I'm also experimenting with my air circulating fan blowing up through the plant's leaves as a said friend it makes a difference, I figured it's worth a try 😀
I will give them a couple more days to make themselves at home in these pots, then scale them up to something larger. This is with the thought in mind that keeping them confined to a smaller size for now will help a tight root ball to form which will then better utilise a larger space when upgraded.
@WhiteWidow, Thanks for the feedback man :) The purpling has definitely occurred my last few grows and i'm still trying to get to the bottom of it, i'm thinking it must be a ph issue as I got a trace elements supplement to pin it down to mag deficiency. It's cool seeing your pineapple grow compared to this one, you're definitely going to have some massive-ly long colas! The worst thing about this strain is I never end up with quite enough. Thanks for following along, hopefully something good is yet to come!

I dont think you should correct your diary. I see them going very good except potential mag problems according to tips and stripes on some leaves. No burned tips, some chicken claw alttough i blv you took photos after watering them..
You seem to be on the right track buddy so keep it up i will mske sure to follow :)
@Endriu, Thanks heaps! Come over and try her out 😀 She was a photoperiod, and would have gotten a whole lot bigger if not due to unfortunate circumstances altering her lighting and inducing flower really early. Already have a round 3 started with her, she has my recommendation

@DrNovaCream, Thanks for your kind words! Alcapulco Gold is a strain I'd love to try, but of your selection I think you couldn't go wrong whatever you end up choosing. If you end up getting some Pineapple seeds though I think you'l be glad you did :)
