Ready for a great grow, running mostly indicas for the winter, temps should stay pretty low so expecting a colorful run. My Flo seed came from dispensary bagseed, let's see what we get
Flo is looking very impressive for bagseed so far. Pineapple Express exploded out of the gate and is the tallest so far. The blue sherbet was started a week late
Everyone looking healthy. Pe2 was much taller than the rest so I went ahead and topped it. Midnight Kush was looking very happy last week, looking much better this week
Topped the rest of the bunch this week except the blue sherbet. Blue sherbet is the youngest so I may not top it. I will top the 24k clone in a few days to try to keep height close to the others. This is my second run of this pheno, it stretches 3x in flower. Pe2 is still the stud of the pack, bounced back very nice from the top. Overall very impressed by all genetics so far. Pe2 very impressive so far. Midnight Kush looks to be my strongest indica.
Great week. Lst training, was aiming for 4 strong stems per plant. Decided to finally use the colloidal silver on a 24k clone. I plan on pollinating the mother and lowers from each plant to see how the offspring turn out. The big flip tomorrow, should be an interesting flower.
This is the first time intentionally making seeds, much less using colloidal silver to do feminized. I couldn't find a good mix ratio after searching so I did 1/3 CS to distilled water the 1st day. The 2nd day I used 1/2 CS to distilled water. Tomorrow will do 2/3 CS. CS is 50 ppm. Any suggestions?
Now we get to the good stuff! Good week, starting to stretch and show pistils. Gave enzymes and Flora series this week. Feeding coming up will be Flora gro and micro, tiger bloom, big bud and cal mag. See what I'm doing.. or attempting to do at least
Yea, skipping right ahead to week 5 of flower. Had to change some things up but ladies doing fine. Most recently had to move flo to different tent cuz of 🍌🍌
Blue cheese - starting to see some nice purple and frosty. Smell like sweet skunk
Midnight Kush - fast flower, starting to see some deep purple on fan leaves. Smells very fruity. Starting flush this week
Blue sherbet - frosted purple leaf edges, can definitely smell the sherbet. Can't wait to see how this one turns out.
Pineapple Express 2 - easy to grow, fast flower, frosty, can't pick the smell out yet. Flush starts this week.
Great week. Flushed pineapple Express 2 and midnight Kush, both finished around 7 weeks flower. 48 hours of darkness then chop. Blue cheese fading out, looks amazing and still looks to have 2 weeks to me. 24k problem I have had with both runs (1 seed then it's clones). 2 out of 3 have the problem and one looks very healthy. I've read other growers having the same problem and can't figure out. The bud came out fine last time, taste and smell 10/10, potency around 7.5, a great relaxing high.
Update: looks like problem with 24k is potassium toxicity. I hit it with big bud from weeks 2-4, problems came after that. I was confused because one of them grew fine under very similar feedings but it was separated when the big bud came. Noticed that the good one did not get as thick as the two that show problems. Difference in yield with ones treated with big bud vs one without is enough to make it worth the risk. I just got to get better with big bud doses. Only had problems from 24k and looks like just a little hot on the blue cheese out of 6 stains. Sativas seem to have lower tolerance. Got it next time tho
Had early bananas on flo so she in a tent by herself under one UFO light
Great genetics, seemed to start slow and finish strong. I had no nutrient issues along the way, great easy grow. Average stretch in flower, finished in 8 to 9 weeks
Second time with this one and I would have to say it's a hard grow. I had what looked to be a magnesium deficiency in 3/4 plants. Neither adding calmag nor adjusting pH fixed the problem. The "bad" ones still finished with quality smoke and more yield than the one that didn't show signs of a deficiency. The differences in the way I grew the good one is nutes and watering. Good one was pretty much organic for all of veg and didn't add many nutes in flower. Good one = more color, less yield, more nose but high was the same or a little less strong. I mentioned water because 2 of the bad ones were very healthy with feeding schedule until I left for a few days and they dried out. The plants recovered quickly but I dealt with the "deficiency" for rest of grow. One of my personal faves but none of friends have mentioned it as a standout. Will probably use for breeding in the future. 10 weeker to me
