HELLLPPPPP

So I have been having trouble with the GG and can't seem to cure her. I wanted to know if a more experienced grower could help identify the problem and what steps to take next. She is still putting on weight in flower and is currently in her 6th week. It looks to me like she is having a cal-mag problem from my research but I'm not confident. She's been a lot of fun to grow and I wouldn't want to lose her this far along, but her leaves from the bottom up (quickly) are turning yellow with brown spots as seen in the photo (is this normal?) Blackberry on the other hand is still rocking her socks off with no problems. Thanks for your time! This week will be updated Friday or Sunday.

Hay bro you have done a great job so far and you are not far from the end, you have done the right thing by flushing (when In doubt flush her out) ...... I think you have a magnesium deficiency due to the slightly low PH, calcium and magnesium are only absorbed above 6.5 so you need to get it up slightly. If you google search cannabis ph chart and look at the images you will see at what ph nutrients are absorbed.

@TaNg, awesome thank you for the great advice. I'm going to give her some cal-mag tomorrow and at a higher pH like you said and and how she does.

Hi Leeyum, Your are getting what I call the 35 day PH swing.. tang is right that your PH is off but the question is how far off! On your next grow using soil add some lime to it.. this will stop that swing from happening. Do you have a PH meter? can you tell me what your soil PH is right now? Im thinking its down to low and needs to come up a few points.. whats is the PH of your feed?

Leeyum
Leeyum

@the_Elvis, Ive been feeding consistently at a pH ranging from 6.2 to 6.5 and the flush was coming in around 6.5 so according to the chart I don't think her ability to absorb cal-mag would be too impeded. I'm thinking she might just be a more demanding plant with those nutrients since the blackberry has had no issues, but i plan to feed her some cal-mag at 6.5 or a little above tomorrow.

As many great growers here said, flush. Best thing you can do is wash out the issue and let t dry out. Then start light...amazi work so far for a first grow!!:facepunch::+1::ok_hand: the end is near!!

Looks like a call mag issue you me. There's a few different remedies for it. Of course you can buy cal-mag at to mixture when you water or feed, an easy home remedie is Epson salt. 1 tsp per gallon of water. Hope this helps man. Grow on my friend. :seedling::maple_leaf::dash:

@Sumgrower420, Thank you for the advice! I flushed her today to make sure she wasn't locked out and will pick up some cal-mag tomorrow for her. Fingers crossed.

Hey bud,
Just a thought- Get some good enzymes and soil beneficials like BioCozyme and Recharge- If those products aren't available do a good beneficial tea and KEEP FLUSHING every other water. Make sure they completely dry out after a good flush-Growers Love

@LagunitasOGDGC, Yeah i heard of soaking corn kernels and using the liquid to feed the plants creates a good enzyme load for the soil. I may try that with a little tea and some cal mag.

Having the exact same problem with my GDP clones as soon as i flipped the switch, I dried out the dirt and sprayed Epsom Salt. My PH was sky high using the Hawaii county water so I switched to Reverse Osmosis now 3 weeks into flower the problem is back. I will try these suggestions to up the PH next Cal- Mag feeding. Awesome job on your grow looks good!

First apply flush, then add the fertilizer to the water until half the normal portion for irrigation. The first watering is done like this
